Toonami has gone from the Kyoto Impure King Arc directly into the Illuminati Saga. Actually, this upcoming weekend will air the third episode of this anime.

In this Saga Izumi and Shima have key roles. Not going to spoil anything so that's all I'm going to say.

What have you been watching this Summer? I have found that three of my favorites air on Fridays. Those are Tougen Anki, Betrothed to My Sister's Ex., and Secrets of the Silent Witch. And speaking of witches, (this one doesn't air on Fridays) if you haven't seen "Witch Watch", you are really missing out. I've laughed out loud at so many of the scenes in these episodes. It's funny without being too ridiculously stupid.

Since we last talked about the Digimon Beatbreak new anime coming this Fall, Toei Animation has put up the Official Japanese Website.

As you can tell, I love Gekkomon and had to use his picture. Anyway... according to the website, the series will premiere on October 5th in Japan.

Also, at DIGIMON EXPO '25, which will be held at Tokyo Dome City Prism Hall on Saturday, September 20th and Sunday, September 21st, 2025, there will be a world premiere screening of the first episode of DIGIMON BEATBREAK. In addition, a staff roundtable discussion will accompany the screening. Ooooo...I wish I could be there.
