This news appears to be spreading throughout the web, and I totally trust Anime News Network as a reliable source. Looks like we're going to see more Taiki in October 2011. Shueisha's V Jump magazine's October issue confirmed that the Digimon Xros Wars anime will continue! The new Season is slated to begin on October 2nd. The tentative title appears to be, Digimon Xros Wars: Hunter Boys Running Through Time.

On another note, questions have arisen whether the current Season has been licensed and/or will show up on TV. There has been no confirmation, but Toei is certainly pushing the series. We'll let you know any further developments.

1st on the agenda; apparently Dentsu Entertainment USA plans to distribute the anime (created based on the Level-5 RPG) entitled Danboru Senki a.k.a. Danball Senki to

Otakon took place in Boston last weekend giving way to a few acquisitions. At Friday’s Funimation panel, they announced the licensing of the Sora no Otoshimono: Tokei-jikake no Angeloid (Heaven’s Lost Property the Movie: The Angeloid of Clockwork) film. They plan to release the film in 2012. You will recall that Funi already has the rights to anime series.

Next (and this one caught me by surprise) Bandai Entertainment announced that they licensed the Nichij? (My Ordinary Life) anime, Gosick anime, and the Nichij? and Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya (Code Geass: Renya of the Darkness) manga. The one that surprised me was Gosick. Don’t get me wrong…I’m happy about that, but it just doesn’t seem like the genre that Bandai normally licenses.

Outside of Otakon, Sentai Filmworks announced their acquision of the sci-fi thriller No. 6. I would love to see a dub on that one, however, I won't get my hopes up.
