Bakugan fans! If you’re interested in the toys, for the next few weeks, McDonald’s Kids Meals (boys…Hello Kitty for girls) will contain a Bakugan or Mechtogan. These look pretty nice. Here is a link to view what's available. And don't forget to get the apples with your meal.

Let's see...any licenses since last time?? Sure enough... Sentai has snagged the slice of life comedy show, A-Channel, as well as the detective drama, UN-GO. I was, also, excited to see that the OVA, Broken Blade, will be released in February of 2012 and contains an English dub.

On Wednesday of this week, we learned that Crunchyroll will be streaming Digimon Xros Wars Season II also known as The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time. According to their announcement, it should be starting next week. Does that mean this Sunday? I'm not quite sure, but in any event this means we will be getting a subtitled version of the show very quickly. For Digimon fans, this is great news.

In other news, it's time to mention any acquisitions that occurred since the last update. Sentai Filmworks keeps chugging along with a couple of pretty good licenses. They scooped up Mashiro-Iro Symphony and Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle. Also, Funimation just recently announced acquiring Hellsing Ultimate OVA 8.

The anime version of the famous Marvel comic, Xmen, will make its debut this Friday, October 21st at 11pm Eastern Time on G4 Tech TV. Click here to check out G4's Marvel Site The animation quality is impressive so you won't want to miss it!

In acquisition news; Wow! Sentai is like the Energizer Bunny; it keeps going and going and going. Since my last post, Sentai has licensed the following anime series: Akikan,  Broken Blade,  The World Only God Knows Seasons I & II (Season II just recently confirmed.), And yet The Town Moves (Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru) and Towa no Quon. What's even more exciting is Sentai has just released their January North American DVD release schedule for January, and "The World Only God Knows" appears to be getting a dub!  Thanks Anime News Network for the list!

Weeee….even more happy news. Viz Media is going to release an English dub of the anime, Tiger & Bunny. Not only that, but Funimation recently announced their acquisition of the new series Guilty Crown, as well as, the series .hack//Quantum! Happy, happy, joy, joy!(:p)
