The capture of the female Titan did not end as planned.
After several attempts to reveal her true human form, the female Titan lets out an ear-piercing cry drawing in all Titans at an alarming speed. These Titans were not after humans. They ripped apart and fed on the female Titan.
Commander Erwin had not choice but to retreat. However, he suspects the human somehow managed to get away. Due to his suspicions, he orders Captain Levi to replace his blades and tanks prior to joining his team.
Elsewhere Eld and the others are using their maneuvering gear to join up with their Captain. Gunther, a distance ahead of the others, is ambushed by one of their own. The mysterious killer has their hood drawn and no one is able to see who it is. (Poor Gunther...at least his death was quick....not that it's any consolation.)
