HIGHLIGHTS:
Ichigo is taken to Cafe Mew Mew, which is the base of Ryo and Keiichiro's operation to protect the Earth from evil aliens.
At school, Ichigo is taking on the characteristics of a cat, which surprises her friends. When she sees Aoyama in the hall, Ichigo becomes flustered and begins to transforms. She races out of school before he notices.
Outside of school, Ichigo runs into a girl being taken advantage of by three so-called friends.
Back at the cafe, Ryo explains to Ichigo that her tail and ears will appear when she gets worked up. He then breaks that news that she will be working as a waitress at Cafe Mew Mew (Geez...I hope they pay her well!) She sees Mint Aizawa there.
Later Ichigo notices the girl with the mean friends. Her name is Lettuce Midorikawa. Ichigo purposely spills a parfait on the mean girls. Once they leave, Mint tells Ichigo that Lettuce is a Mew Mew. She's infused with the DNA of a finless porpoise.
Ichigo and Mint are sent to Lettuce's school pool. There are rumors going around that it may be haunted. When they get to the pool, they find that Lettuce cannot control her powers. Thankfully, friendly Ichigo is able to tame Lettuce.
The next day, Lettuce goes to the Cafe after rejecting the mean ex-friends. She looks adorable in her new uniform.
