COWBOY BEBOP
Spike is what you call a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants kind of guy. He is very impulsive and often acts without thinking. He, also, loves to sleep a lot. When he was younger, he wasn't afraid of anything .. not even death. Then he met Julia, and didn't ever want to die. He left the syndicate when they wanted to kill him and joined Jet as a bounty hunter. Spike is often heard chanting how he hates three things: kids, pets, and women with attitudes....
Jet (36 years old) is the more responsible of the two men bounty hunters, which is understandable since he was once a cop. He lost his arm while working on a case, and it was this loss that taught him to act more sensible. Due to corruption within the police department, Jet eventually quit his job and became a bounty hunter. It is Jet who owns the Bebop. He is also seen preparing meals as well as keeping track of all finances.
Sexy Faye joins the crew of the Bebop in episode 3 after meeting Spike at a casino and mistaking him for someone else. Faye was put in cold sleep when severely injured in Earth's terrible accident. Because of this, she often has difficulty remembering her past. Faye is very skilled at cards, especially Blackjack. Too bad this beauty is in deep debt, because she definitely likes the finer things in life.
Young Ed is a wacky computer hacker and genius...although you'd never know it. Her (yep, her) father calls her Francoise, but she is also known as Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV or Radical Edward (as known on the Net). Ed was born on Earth. Seven years ago, her father had put her in a day care and basically forgot about her. She has been a loner ever since, wandering here and there. At one point she spent two years at an orphanage run by a friendly nun. Ed says goodbye to the Bebop in episode 24.
Ein enters the series during episode 2. His breed of dog is called Welsh Corgi. Normally this type of dog is only worth 2 woolongs, because it's 100% mongrel. However, Ein is no ordinary dog. He is what they call a data dog...developed in an illegal research facility. Considered a genius hound dog due to a data chip in his head...this pooch is worth a fortune.
Beautiful Julia is the object of Spike's affection, but it wasn't always that way...originally she was Vicious' girlfriend. Spike and Julia met when she took care of him after he was badly injured. During that phase they grew to love one another. When Vicious caught wind of this, he ordered Julia to kill Spike, but she couldn't go through with it. Unfortunately, she eventually meets her demise and perishes in Spike's arms.
Vicious is a devious member of a crime syndicate who is out to get Spike. Sadly, he and Spike were once friends and fought side by side. This man has let power go to his head, killing the syndicate's bosses so that he can take over operations. Spike, however, is not gonna let that happen.
