Digimon Encounter Zone

Chapter 5

When she opened her eyes changed from brown to red. She was gazing at him as if searching for something. Cory and Leo bent down next to Kouji to see the girl. Leo muttered under his breath about her being hot. When she saw all of them a look of realization of who they were lit her face. There was another change I'm her eyes. They were blazing red. A look of betrayal and anger showed clearly on her face.

She tried to get up but fell back down because of her injuries. As she lay down she asked, "Why did you do it?". Kouji was startled. He hadn't expected her to talk. He didn't have an answer and she knew it. A small tear trickled down her face. She was so delicate. Determined but delicate. Kouji realized. She whispered a word that Kouji barley caught. Angewomon. There was a short pause then some thing came out of the bushes.

It was an angel digimon. She wore a helmet with blonde hair and had wings. She wore sort of a bikini with random patches if white cloth. She also had a pink lace wrapped around her arms and one glove. Kouji and the others backed away. Angewomon picked up the girl and carried her off. Kouji had to follow them. There was a strong urge  that was making him want to. "Come on guys, after them!" Kouji said. The others followed him as he lead the way to where he was seeing Angewomon go. They came to a clearing with tall trees dotting it. It looked like the girl was saying something to Angewomon.

Angewomon flew up into a tree and set the girl in a high branch then flew off and was gone. It was getting pretty dark. Kouji thought that as he looked around. He had to help that girl. He was responsible for her injuries."Cory,Leo I'm going to go see if I can talk to her. Cory, your in charge." Leo was about to say something but Kouji cut him off. "Lukinomon you know what dock looks like so I need you to get as much as you can. Okay?" "Alright." Lukinomon said. "Okay then." Kouji said. He walked off to the tree where the girl was.

While he was walking he thought about her. The girl was in pretty bad shape when he and the others found her. He remembered the gash she had on her forehead and arm. He hadn't really paid attention, but, he was pretty sure he saw blood. And if there was blood how long would he have? Because he was sure there was a thin stream coming from here arm. He was almost there. When he got to the tree he looked up. She was sitting in a high branch, focusing on her arm. She didn't see him coming, so when he climbed up the tree she was a bit startled to see him and jumped a little.

"Ow." She said. She looked at him. "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be fighting innocent digimon." She exclaimed. "No. That was an accident. I was being stupid and didn't think when you said you wouldn't hurt us. I..I'm sorry. I don't expect you to forgive my friends and I. Kouji said. He sat down next to her on the branch.

The moon shone brilliantly on her face. Her eyes were no longer red but, were blue. She was thinking. He saw it in her face. "Well. She said. Your wrong about one thing. I will forgive you because I know you didn't know you were doing that. And that you didn't mean it. You were just being a leader, trying to protect your friends." Kouji felt even worse. She had forgiven him so easily after what he had done. "No. He said again. At the time I meant it." "But now do you mean what you did?"she asked. He sighed. She was right. A thought came to his mind. "Are you okay? He said. Come on we have to get you back to where everyone is." She didn't really protest. Only asked how she would get there. "I'll carry you." He said. She blushed  a little.
