Digimon Encounter Zone

Chapter 2

When he woke up he had a terrible headache and was in a strange place. "Where am I?" He said aloud. "Your in the Digital World." "What?" Kouji turned around. There in front of him stood a huge wolf. But not just any wolf, it was  the wolf from his note pad. "You you... I drew you." So you did." "My name's Lukinomon." "And yours is?" "K..Kouji." "How are you real?" "Well I could ask you the same thing but I won't." "Alright then. So you are Lukinomon, right?" "Yes." "And this is the Digital World?" "Yep." "This has to be a dream." "Well quite frankly it's not." "Yes it is." "No it isn't." Kouji sighed.

What use was it arguing. He had to get back home if this was real. He pinched himself. Definitely not a dream. He thought. So it was real. He got up from where he was sitting. He looked around. He was is a forest that looked a bit strange. He started to walk away to see if he got anywhere. But he noticed Lukinomon was following him. "Um you can go now." "Nope I'm with you partner." Partner. He thought. This couldn't be right. He wasn't expecting this kind of partner.

Just then he heard a huge roar and crash. He opened his eyes. There in front of him stood a huge dinosaur. It was orange and  had dark blue stripes with a brown mask on its face that covered its horns. "What's that?" He asked bewildered. "Oh no that's Greymon. He's strong and aggressive with a sharp attitude." It looked up from where it had crashed into a tree. Its eyes focused on him. It let out yet another roar and charged. "Look out!" Lukinomon yelled. He jumped in front of him. "Moonstruck Hunter!" He yelled. A beam of light surged out of him and hit the Greymon. The Greymon flinched but didn't look hurt.

"It didn't work!" Lukinomon said. He tried again but still it didn't work. The Greymon kept charging. It hit Lukinomon and he flew into a tree. "Lukinomon!" Kouji yelled. He ran over to him. He was pretty badly damaged.

"Are you all right?" He asked. He didn't answer. "Lukinomon? Lukinomon!"  By then Greymon had reclaimed his mobility. It stood up and opened its mouth. "Nova Blast!" It said. A huge fireball came hurtling towards them. "No!" Kouji yelled. A huge glow came from Lukinomon. (Lukinomon: "Lukinomon, (He began to change shape.) digivolve to...Arismon!)

Arismon looked like a wolf and was dark blue, but he had silver lightning bolts on his body and a silver mask. He had two giant lightning bolts that stuck out of his chest and went across his body. He also had silver covers on his paws with razer sharp claws.

Arismon looked at the fire ball coming at them and said, " Iced Thunderstrike!" A beam as cold as ice flared out of Arismon. He charged and hit the fireball and went straight through. He hit the Greymon and it let out one last roar and disintegrated into small particles.

"How d..did you do that?" Kouji asked. Arismon changed back into Lukinomon. "What part, the part where I digivolved or when I beat Greymon?" "All of it!" "Oh well, I changed shape or digivolved  as it's called. It means that I get stronger with the help of your digivice. "My digivice, I forgot all about it!" He took it out of his pocket. When he looked at the screen there were two forms,one was Lukinomon and the other was Arismon. It said Lukinomon was, rookie, and on Arismon was champion. "What does rookie and champion mean?" "It means that right now I'm a rookie, and when I digivolve  into Arismon, that's a champion. Which means that right now I'm not as strong as a champion." Lukinomon explained "Okay I get it." Kouji said. "But um couldn't you stay in that form?" "No because it takes a lot of energy and I just wouldn't be able to." "Okay."

This was a lot to take in for Kouji. How will I get home. Kouji thought. "Hey Lukinomon." "Yes?" "How am I supposed to get home?" "Home?" "This is your home now." Lukinomon said. "What? Why? My mom will die of worry if I don't get home soon!" "Don't worry maybe you'll be able to get home when you fulfill your purpose here. I mean you were brought here for a reason." "I was?" "Yes everything happens for a reason."

"All right we should get moving to wherever we need to go." They started to head off. As they were walking they started to hear agonized  cries. "What's going on now?"Kouji said. They started to run in the direction of the cries. They came into a clearing. In the middle of the clearing was a boy, about Kouji's age, leaning over a big dragon digimon. It was letting out cries. Something caught Kouji's eye. It was a giant bat-vampire looking thing but was human-like with sharp teeth and and a cape. "Who's that?"Kouji asked. "That's Myotismon an ultimate digimon! "Is that stronger than a champion?" "Afraid so." "Well we have to try to help that person. Okay, time to digivolve Lukinomon!"

Lukinomon began to change shape until he became Arismon. "Now try to stop him." Arismon charged and started to attack. Meanwhile Kouji went over to help the boy. "Hey are you okay?" Kouji asked. "Yes, but he's not." The boy said."What's his name?" "Draynmon." "Well why don't you tell me what happened." "Okay. Me and Ohnirmon were walking when Myotismon came and attacked Ohniromon and he digivolved into Draynmon. But since Myotismons an ultimate he overpowered him and now he won't wake up."

Kouji thought for a moment. "I think I might know what to do. Just stay there." He looked at Arismon. Arismon was starting to lose. Kouji knew he had to hurry. He ran off into the woods. He started to look around to see if he could find any dock. He found a clump and picked out as much as he could. He ran back to where the boy was waiting.

By now Arismon was about ready to faint of exhaustion. "Here you go." Kouji said. He started applying the dock. "Will he be okay?" The boy asked. "Yes in a moment." Draynmon started to rise from the ground. Once it was standing Kouji got a look at its eyes. It looked like there was fire in them. He was angry, very angry. He charged at Myotismon. "Raging flame!" Draynmon yelled. A burst of fire erupted out of Draynmon and enveloped him. He charged at Myotismon. He was so distracted with Arismon that he didn't even see Draynmon coming. He hit him head on. It was so strong that Myotismon disintegrated right there. "Wow. That was strong."
