Digimon Encounter Zone

Chapter 3

Draynmon dedigivolved into something that looked like a mini dragon but was big as Lukinomon. It was red with black lines on it. It had a pointed snout and sharp teeth to go in it. Guess that's Ohniromon. Kouji thought. He and Lukinomon (who had dedigivolved) went over to where the boy and Ohniromon were. "Thank you for helping us." The boy said. "No problem." Kouji said. "So by the way, what's your name?" "Cory. And this is Ohniromon. So what's yours?" Cory said. "My name's Kouji and this is Lukinomon." Now that the turmoil was over Kouji got a chance to actually see what Cory looked like.

He was as tall as Kouji with blonde hair. He wore a orange shirt with a black jacket over it. (Unzipped) He wore brown shorts and orange shoes. "What now?" Cory said. "Well I'm going off to see how I can get something done."Kouji said. "Can I travel with you? I mean I can help if you run into trouble." Kouji thought for a moment. He liked to be alone. But, personal desires would not help him, so, Kouji decided to let them join.

They continued walking the path Kouji was originally on. As they were walking it started to get dark. "Better set up camp" Kouji said. "Sure." Cory replied. They set up camp. Kouji lay in his makeshift bed thinking, one day down and who knows how many more to go. And with that, Kouji fell asleep.

That morning Kouji was awaken by a muzzle in his face. "What the?" Kouji said. "Come on rise and shine it's time to go." "Oh all right but did you have to wake me like that?" "Yes." Kouji sighed. He got up and looked to see where Cory was. Cory was talking to a boy their age. Kouji looked the boy up and down. He had brown hair and was as tall as Cory. He wore a green shirt with brown shorts. He also wore white tennis shoes.

  Kouji thought the boy looked familiar. That's it! Kouji thought. The boy was on his soccer team and his name was Leo. He walked over to them with Lukinomon at his side. "Hey Leo." He said as he walked up to them. "Oh hey Kouji! I saw you sleeping and I didn't want to wake you. "Thanks, so what are you doing here?" "I'm digidestend and got sucked into this world. Also Cory told me I could join your group." "Where's your digimon?" Lukinomon asked. "My digimon is out collecting berries so you might not see him for a while." Kouji looked at Cory. Cory looked at him and gave him a small shrug.

They would talk about it later. "Well then we better get going when your digimon gets back." Kouji said. While they waited they started talking about how they got there and what they had encountered. Ohniromon started bouncing up and down. "He's back! Yay!" Ohniromon said.

The digimon that came out of the bushes looked like a bird and was yellow with blue stripes  that dotted his back. He had blue blades that stuck on his head but were tilted  back. He also had a long pointed beak. "Kouji, Lukinomon meet Zaltzmon. The guy looked pretty cool for a bird, Kouji had to admit it. "Well I guess we should get going now." Kouji said. They set off, their partners at their side. While they were walking they encountered a bunch of digimon, and they were not friendly.
