Our last episode ended with Takuya and Koji executing the "Unified Spirit Evolution" to EmperorGreymon and MagnaGarurumon. Ophanimon made the ultimate sacrifice for the new evolution.

When Cherubimon uses his "storm of judgment", the evolved digimon realize they must get the others to safety. After the other children are a safe distance, EmperorGreymon hits Cherubimon with his "dragon fire crossbow" attack and MagnaGarurumon follows that up with his "magna missiles". Cherubimon's retaliation becomes wild and unfocussed. He is running scared. Takuya and Koji pile on the heat with "pyro-dragon" and "starburst hunter" attacks. The castle and surrounding area begin to crumble. EmperorGreymon returns to save the others. Just as Koichi is about to climb on EmperorGreymon...the ground gives way beneath him. MagnaGarurumon grabs him, saving the boy from immanent doom.

An explosion occurs. Everything has collapsed. One by one the children emerge from beneath rubble and debris. They're all OK, but they know that Cherubimon has yet to be defeated. The children barely have time to dust themselves off when who should emerge but the wicked IceDevimon. Bokomon explained that this evil digimon went on a rampage in the digital world destroying and devouring any data he could. He was captured and imprisoned, but the explosion set him free. Now he is eager to taste human data.!

Before Takuya and Koji can evolve, IceDevimon freezes their detectors. The others, however, ARE able to evolve. Their attacks are not strong enough, and soon IceDevimon has immobilized J.P. and Zoe. Next he turned his attention to Takuya and Koji...placing them under a frozen dome. Suddenly frozen bindings begin to form. Koji pushes Takuya out of the way. The bitter cold bindings wrap themselves tightly around Koji as he screams in agony.

JagerLowemon can't bare to see this and charges at IceDevimon....but was that really his target? IceDevimon avoids JagerLowemon's advance resulting in a powerful impact to the frozen dome freeing Koji and Takuya. At the same time Korikakumon has freed Zoe and J.P. giving them the ability to beast spirit evolve. Working together they are able to defeat IceDevimon. Koichi slide evolves to Lowemon and absorbs the purified fractal code. Everything begins to thaw including Takuya and Koji's detectors.

Everyone lives happily ever after??? Not likely!!! Guess who's baaaaccccckkkkk????
