All of the chosen children except Tommy remain trapped in the multi-dimensional being, Sakkakumon (the evolved form of Mercuremon).

Zoe wanders around a sunny tropical area searching for the others. She encounters several mischievous Honeybeemon, who unbeknownst to her, are members of the Ranamon fan club. The Digimon get themselves in trouble when they try to set traps for Zoe. Since Zoe is unaware of their background, she evolves to Kazemon and helps them. After several rescues, the Honeybeemon grow fond of Kazemon aka Zoe.

Meanwhile, in another more baron area of Sakkakumon, Takuya is attacked by Parrotmon. The boy evolves to Agunimon and soon defeats the attacking bird digimon. After taking the fractal code, a new portal appears before Takuya.

Returning to Zoe, we find the Honeybeemon are now very friendly offering her food and beverages. Unfortunately, when the young girl's back is turned, Ranamon forces the Honeybeemon to give Zoe an apple that will give her bad visions. The apple effects Zoe quickly, and she begins having visions of a camping trip where she is betrayed by someone she thought was a friend. To pull Zoe further into depression, Ranamon keeps telling her she is weak and ugly. Luckily, Zoe snaps out of it and becomes more determined than ever to become stronger and kinder. She evolves to Kazemon to battle Ranamon.

In a forest-like area of Sakkakumon, J.P. approaches a cherry tree. What could be more perfect for he was very hungry. To his surprise, the cherry tree is an angry Cherrymon ready to attack. J.P. evolves to Blitzmon and uses his "Golden Thunder and Thunder Fist". After absorbing the evil digimon's fractal code, J.P. jumps through a new portal that sets him free. He joins Tommy only to watch helplessly as Zephyrmon is battling Calamaramon.

Zephyrmon and Calamaramon use their best attacks against one another, however, with the Honeybeemon on her side, Zoe is finally able to defeat Ranamon and take her fractal code. The Honeybeemon escort Zoe through a new portal where she is able to join J.P. and Tommy. Now....what's going to happen to Takuya and Koji????
