Right before the final showdown, Bird is given time off to rest. He decides to step away from Beybattles, and return to his hometown with Ekusu.
Bird, feeling ashamed for not performing up to professional standards, returns home only to receive a warm welcome.
Bird soon finds himself teaching the kids about Beyblade. As Tsuru and Suzaki watch Bird, reflecting on his past Beyblade experiences while teaching, they notice a change in him.
Meanwhile, despite being prohibited from Beyblading until the final showdown, Ekusu can no longer resist the urge after seeing everyone else playing!
