The handsome Ryuho was born outside of the city and is a successor of the (upper-class) Ryu family. He may appear in control, but in fact, he is often just the opposite. Ryuho is haunted by the death of his mother by a mysterious alter user. As a result, he has an almost obsessive determination to find whoever or whatever is responsible for her demise. That determination, as well as, his desire to capture native alters who committed criminal acts were the reasons he joined Holy.

Ryuho's alter is described as a human-like Alter...with a single eye...and two finger-like whips. This is his Alter's initial form and is entitled "Zetsuei." During the altercation that killed his mother, Ryuho's dog also died and it's remains were incorporated into Zetsuei.
