This episode was a blood bath. Parasites, innocent civilians and soldiers were killed...all in the Military's attempt to flush out the parasites feasting on humans. Shinichi and Migi can only stand by and watch.

The lockdown of Mayor Hirokawa's building results in a murderous rampage. While the military take out parasites identified by Uragami or xray, Gotou is able to take out many soldiers. God help anyone who is caught in between! The episode ends when the soldiers confront the Mayor, and he calmly tells them to take a seat.
