Migi warns Shinichi of Kana and her abilities. These abilities may attract parasites to her. Shinichi tries to protect her by telling Kana his secret, but she doesn't believe him.

Sadly, Shinichi is unable to make it in time to save Kana from a parasite she thought was him. She dies in his arms just after he kills the parasite by ripping the heart right out of his human host's chest.
