In his search for the parasite that killed his mother, Shinichi meets another human similar to himself. Mamoru Uda has a parasite that failed to reach his brain and now resides in Manoru's chin area.

Shinichi and Mamoru join forces to destroy the parasite within the boy's mother.

Shinichi, also, learns why he suddenly has heightened senses while Migi has weakened and requires more sleep.
