Inuyasha: The Final Days

Disclaimer: Now we will find out who will die and who will live. Place your bets folks, because this one is gonna be tough. And... I don't own Inuyasha, but damn it, why do I always have to tell you this... wait, I don't.

Chapter 4: Final Battle!

     Naraku stood there, glaring at Inuyasha as blue and black energy arose from him. A mad smirk rose on his face. Inuyasha posed for battle as Naraku jumped into the air, and so did Inuyasha. They were both in midair, when Inuyasha slashed at Naraku with the Tetsusiaga. Naraku watched the blade come down on him, when he grabbed the blade of the Tetsusiaga. Inuyasha stared at Naraku shocked that he was holding the Tetsusiaga, he could hear the sizzling of the blade in protest against Naraku's hand but it had no effect on him. Naraku pulled back his other arm and started punching Inuyasha in the face, in midair! After several punches, Naraku drew back his fist and knocked Inuyasha downward by hitting him on top of his head and letting go of the Tetsusiaga.

     Inuyasha plummeted to the ground, landing hard on his back. Inuyasha opened his eyes, looking up at the dark sky and seeing Naraku coming down with his feet together, stretched down, coming down at Inuyasha. Naraku hit Inuyasha in the stomach with both his feet as Inuyasha sat up from the impact, as bits of blood came out of Inuyasha's mouth.

     Naraku got off of Inuyasha and wrapped his hands over Inuyasha's throat as he started to choke him. "Since you're out of air," Naraku said, "it would be easy to kill you."

     But Inuyasha wasn't going to take this sitting down, Inuyasha grabbed the Tetsusiaga and ran the sword across Naraku's left arm, cutting it off. Naraku jumped back from surprise. He looked down at
his arm.

     Inuyasha grabbed Naraku's arm and tossed it at him. "Here," Inuyasha said, "keep it. It's a souvenir, just so you can remember me in hell."

     Naraku bent down and grabbed his arm. He then, started to chuckle.
     "Ha ha. Inuyasha, you fool. You're so conceded." Naraku put his cut off arm back where it was slashed off. Then, a small flash of white light, the whole entire cut vanished, as Naraku started to move his left arm.

     Inuyasha was stunned. He reattached his arm, Inuyasha thought.
     Naraku looked at Inuyasha and dashed at him. Inuyasha was caught by surprise as he was grabbed by the throat, picked up into the air, and slammed into the ground, as Naraku choked Inuyasha... again.

     Sango watched in horror as Inuyasha was about to be killed. But She had to do something. She looked over at Miroku. Miroku was sitting down, breathing hard, still weak from his last battle. She looked at Kagome. But Kagome was too injured for battle. She doubted Shippo could fight. She eyed at Kikyo. Kikyo was staring at the starry sky, laughing of Inuyasha's gagging, knowing that he will die. Sango looked back at Inuyasha.

     "There's only one thing to do," Sango said. She grabbed her Boomerang and threw it at Naraku. Naraku heard it coming. He looked back to see the boomerang coming at him. He pulled his right arm out and grabbed the boomerang out of midair. Sango gasped.

     "I don't have time for this." said Naraku as he put one end of the boomerang on the ground and started pushing on it. It started to wobble at first, then, the giant boomerang snapped in half. Naraku dropped the half out of his hand and returned choking Inuyasha.

     Sango didn't know what else to do. She couldn't think of anything until she laid her eyes on her sword.

     She grabbed her sword, unsheathed it, held it like a dagger, and started to charge at Naraku. Naraku didn't bother to look back. She came over and stabbed Naraku behind the shoulder.

     Naraku looked over his shoulder, "I have no time to mess with you humans."

     After a few seconds of shock, Sango pulled the sword out and Stabbed him again in the spider tattoo.

     Naraku screamed in pain as he got off of Inuyasha, that he was now trying to catch his breath. The pain was so extreme that it brought tears to his eyes. He grabbed the sword and pulled it out of him, as he gasped for air. He threw the sword aside and stared angrily at Sango. "Damn you, human!" Naraku said as he advanced towards her.

     "Hold it!"
     Naraku looked back to see Inuyasha standing as he held the Tetsusiaga in his hands. Inuyasha dashed at him and sliced his left hand off.
     "Darn it, I missed," said Inuyasha, as Naraku dodged but not quick enough. Inuyasha accidentally kicked Naraku's hand to him, trying to get into a fighting position.

     Naraku bent down and put his hand back on but not taking his eyes Off of Inuyasha. He let go of his hand and was about to get ready to fight Inuyasha until he heard a "thunk" sound, bellow him. Naraku looked down to see his hand on the ground. Shocked, he grabbed his hand and stuck it back on his arm but it still fell off.

     Inuyasha didn't understand why his reattachment magic wasn't working. Inuyasha thought very hard. Then, something came to him. "Wait a minute," Inuyasha said, "I think I put this together. Your spider tattoo is your weak spot. That has to be it"

     "Damn it!" Naraku said, "after fifty years I thought I finished you and that priestess off by making you betray each other. But no, she just had to pin you to a tree, which only put you in eternal sleep. Damn it all!"

     Kikyo eyes widened. She heard of the rumors saying that had happened. But she thought they were just false rumors. But now, she believed they were true since it was coming from the demon who said who done it. She believed every single word.

     "But," Naraku said, "that still won't let me kill you!"

     "No, Inuyasha!" Kikyo and Kagome cried.

     Naraku charged at Inuyasha with his right hand close to his face and a single poison needle in his hand. Inuyasha slashed an "X" with the Tetsusiaga sending out an "X" light at Naraku. The "X" light blade
went clear through Naraku but he still kept going, still together. Inuyasha was caught off guard as Naraku jabbed his claw into Inuyasha's neck.

     Both men stood there.
     "If I'm going to die," Naraku said, "I'm taking you down to hell With me." He then, collapsed into four pieces as Inuyasha fell to his knees and fell twisting onto his back.

     "Inuyasha!" Kagome cried as she got up and ran to Inuyasha. She Knelt down next him and lifted his head. "Inuyasha."
     "K-K-K-Ka-Ka-Kagome!" Inuyasha gasped.
     "Don't talk Inuyasha, please. Save your strength, so you can get better," Kagome said with a weak smile as silent tears went down her face.

     "K-K-K-Kagome. I, I, I, I have something to t-tell you."
     "Don't die on me , Inuyasha, please don't die."
     "I-I-I-I-I love you, Kagome."

     Kagome looked at his eyes.
     "I-I-I-I loved you ever since that day we-we met the Thunder Br- Brothers."
     "And I loved you too, Inuyasha."

     She hugged Inuyasha as he put a tight grasping hand on the back of her shirt.
     "Please, don't die on me Inuyasha."
     "K-K-K-K-Ka-Ka-Kagome!" Inuyasha gasped as Kagome felt Inuyasha's hand tighten on her shirt and then, she felt it ease and felt Inuyasha's hand slip off her back.

     "Inuyasha?"
     Kagome pulled away and looked at him. "Inuyasha?"
     Inuyasha had his eyes closed as he stopped breathing.

     "Inuyasha!" Kagome cried as she buried her head into his chest, crying.

     Miroku took the jewels off his hand and looked at it. The wind Tunnel was gone. He looked at Kikyo who was in tears. She now knows, thought Miroku. She then, closed her eyes as all the souls separated from her body, including the soul from Kagome. The whole place was quiet except for Kagome's crying as she lost her beloved.
