Disclaimer: 3rd chapter. They say the third time is the charm...well, I believe
that. Because this chapter is gonna be the bomb. You won't believe it till ya
read it. Oh yeah, I don't own Inuyasha but if I did, why would I be writing
this fic?

Chapter 3: Castle Invasion
It was a dark and clear night as the lizard demons patrolled the outer wall of the castle.
"I don't sssee why we have to do thisss," one of the lizards said.
"What makesss Naraku think they're coming," the second lizard said. They then started to hear galloping noise.
"What isss that?" Then, there was a whooshing sound blending in with the galloping. Then, a giant boomerang came out of the trees and cut the two lizard demons in half and destroying a chunk of the wall, making an opening for Inuyasha and the gang.
As everyone was riding Kirara, they entered into castle territory.
As they were proceeding they saw a huge army of different kinds of demons waiting for them.
"Let me handle this," said Inuyasha. He got in front of everybody and stood up on Kirara. He unsheathed Tetsusiaga
and raised it up in the air. Time for the wind scar, thought Inuyasha. "Tetsusiaga!" yelled Inuyasha as he swung the sword downward and a huge light came out of the sword, killing all the demons in it.
They were still going until they started to hear noises coming from behind them. They all looked back to see an army of demons running and flying after them.
"Leave it to me," Inuyasha said as he jumped off of Kirara and went after the demons.
"We must be close to the inner wall," said Sango. As she said that, they saw a giant wooden wall from far away and a small group of other demons guarding it.
"I'll handle this," said Miroku, climbing to the front. He stuck his right hand out on top of Kirara and in front of her. He took the jewels off.
"Wind Tunnel!" yelled Miroku as the Wind Tunnel started to suck all the things in front of it. The group of demons were sucked into it but the wall stood its ground.
"Come on," Miroku said.
"Get down, so I can throw my boomerang at it," said Sango.
"No, I can do it." he said stubbornly.
"We're going to hit it."
"Oh no we're not."
Just then, the wall started to slump over and then a huge chunk of the inner wall broke off and was sucked in. "Yes!"
They entered inside the castle boundaries where a lot of human guards stood. All the human guards attacked the intruders.
"So, Naraku thought our greatest weakness was that we can not attack humans," Miroku said, "well, guess what? He was right." So instead of attacking them, they dodged their attacks.
As they were running for their lives, the ground started to shake. "Earthquake?" Kagome asked. But then, a huge octopus came out of the ground.
"Well, you don't see that everyday now do ya?" said Sango.
The octopus demon was half as big as the castle with human size eyeballs and with very long tentacles. It was pale red but so pale you could barely see through it. Kirara came to a stop as everyone stared at it.
"I wonder what it can do?" asked Kagome.
All the human guards stared at it in surprise, rooted to the spot. Then, the giant octopus demon shot its tentacles at the human guards, which it sank into their backs, and started to absorb them, from the inside, out. The gang watched in horror as the demon absorbed them all. He then, turned to face them, just staring at them.
"I'll make you pay," said Miroku, getting off of Kirara and pulling the jewels off of his arm. The demon just stared at him.
"Wind Tunnel!" said Miroku as he tried to suck in the giant demon. But the demon stood its ground as it turned to face Miroku with one eye. Then, a red light came out of its eye and hit Miroku. Miroku closed his eyes and the wind tunnel waiting to see what will happen to him. But nothing happened. Miroku opened his eyes to only feel the warmth of the red light. Then, it disappeared as the demon faced Miroku again. It then, started to have waves of contractions on its pale skin as the body tilted back, revealing its underside as it used its tentacles to support its body from tilting.
It showed a huge beak under its body as it regurgitated a huge milky white blob.
"Ew," said Kagome, "what's it doing?"
Then, a gold rod came out of the blob and started to cut upward, then, a blacked hair man with black and blue clothing and holding a golden staff came out of it. It was...
"Miroku?" the girls said.
But it can't be him, he was standing in front of the girls and the other one was standing in front of the demon. But this Miroku was different. It had no pupils and he had a crazy mad smile on his face, like it wanted the taste of blood.
The other Miroku pulled off its jewels and opened his wind tunnel. He was now trying to suck everyone in.
"Hold on, everyone!" yelled Sango.
It looked to be the end for everyone until...
"Tetsusiaga!" The huge octopus looked up to see the giant blade of the Tetsusiaga coming down on it. Inuyasha cut through the head of the octopus, as organs spilled out of the head of the demon. The cloned Miroku then started to melt into a tanish puddle.
"Is everyone okay?" asked Inuyasha.
"We're all fine," said Miroku, "thanks to you."
"Come on, lets find Naraku."
"Okay."
He stared at the rubble that was once a piece of a wall. Sesshomaru was impressed by how Inuyasha can be very idiotic, going into a enemy's territory. Behind him was Jaken.
"Do you think Inuyasha did this, Lord Sesshomaru?" he asked.
"I don't think, Jaken. I know."
"I am sorry my Lord for doubting your knowledge."
Sesshomaru started to walk towards the castle. Jaken jumped in surprise and ran up to him. "What are doing my Lord? Inuyasha is in there."
"Yes, I know."
With that, he started again back towards the castle.
They started to walk around the castle searching outside for Naraku. Then, they found him. He was sitting in a tree with his baboon cape on.
"Naraku!" yelled Inuyasha.
"Hello Inuyasha," said Naraku calmly, "I'm surprised that you made it here. I never thought you would never pass the Octoclon."
"Damn you Naraku," Inuyasha jumped in the air, unsheathed his sword, and was ready to slash at Naraku, until...
"Just a minute Inuyasha," said Naraku, "I want you to fight my two best fighters before fighting me." He snapped his fingers and a chained kama (That's Kohaku's weapon) flew at Inuyasha. Inuyasha blocked it with his sword before landing on to the ground. Inuyasha looked up to see Kohaku walking up to him, twirling his weapon.
"Kohaku!" yelled Sango.
"That's not Kohaku," said Inuyasha, "that's a person with no soul."
"Don't you dare hurt Kohaku, Inuyasha. Or I swear I will kill you."
Great, Inuyasha thought sarcastically, now how am I going to win this fight?
Again, Kohaku threw his chained kama at Inuyasha, but again, Inuyasha blocked it with his sword. Again and again and again, Kohaku tried to kill Inuyasha with his weapon but he still had no success.
I'm getting tired of this, Inuyasha thought, I just wish I can kill him.
"Inuyasha," came a voice.
Inuyasha looked around and then looked up the wooden wall to see Sesshomaru standing on top of it.
"Oh great," said Inuyasha, "now I have to face Naraku and you."
"Inuyasha: kill the boy."
"What?! What did you say?!" said Sango.
"Why should I kill him?"
"Trust me, I have a plan."
Whoah, trust Sesshomaru, thought Inuyasha, that's like trusting Miroku to guard the girls while they change their clothes.
"Do it or I'll kill you!"
"Okay," said Inuyasha, "here goes nothing."
Inuyasha charged at Kohaku. Kohaku threw his kama at Inuyasha but Inuyasha cut the chain and slashed down on Kohaku.
Kohaku fell to his knees then fell face forward. "NO!!!" screamed Sango, "Damn you, Inuyasha! Damn you, you bastard!!!" She started to cry.
Inuyasha looked up at Sesshomaru to see him unsheathe his sword. He jumped off the wall and came down, slashing Kohaku on his back.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" cried Sango as she was being held back by Miroku. She fell on to her knees and started crying, looking at the ground.
"S-S-Sango?" Sango stopped crying and looked up. There, she saw Kohaku sitting up staring at her with silent tears going down his face and with a single tear going down his shirt.
"Kohaku?" said Sango.
Kohaku ran up to her and hugged her, crying on her chest.
"It healed him," Sesshomaru said, "it gave him his memory back and everything."
"So, you're starting to show sympathy towards people now, aren't you?" asked Inuyasha.
Sesshomaru shot him a dark look, "Look. I just did that because I owe you a favor for saving my life." he said, pointing a threatening finger at him. "So don't think I'll save you again." Sesshomaru jumped over the wall as he saw Jaken trying to get over the wall.
"This isn't my day," said Jaken as he fell off the wall.
Inuyasha then turned his attention towards Naraku as he started to charge at him with Tetsusiaga up in the air, ready to slash at Naraku.
Naraku snapped his fingers as whistling sound started and then an arrow came at Inuyasha, hitting him in the left shoulder, knocking him backwards in the air, and then hitting a tree. He dropped the Tetsusiaga when he hit the tree. This feels familiar, Inuyasha thought as he was pinned to a tree, with his feet dangling in the air. He heard laughter.
Inuyasha looked up to see...
"Kikyo," he said.
"That's right, Inuyasha," said Kikyo.
Inuyasha pulled on the arrow but it wouldn't move. He tried again, but it didn't even budge.
"Try with all your might, Inuyasha," said Kikyou, "it still won't move." She started laughing at Inuyasha until she felt sharp pain in her right leg. She looked to see an arrow stuck in her leg. She looked up to see Kagome with an opened hand close to her face and a bow in her other hand.
"You retched girl," said Kikyo, pulling the arrow out of her leg. "You will pay dearly for that!" Kikyo pulled out an arrow as she got it ready. So did Kagome. Both girls fired their arrows at each other but both arrows
collided, tip to tip. Both arrows were glowing pink aurora and were still stuck in the air. Then, both arrows stopped glowing and fell to the ground.
Kagome was about to get another arrow until she heard Inuyasha. "Be careful." he said.
She looked at him, smiled and said, "don't worry, I'll be careful." Then, she felt shear pain in her left shoulder. She looked over in shock to see an arrow stuck in her shoulder. She looked at Kikyo who had a smirk on her face.
"You're so weak," said Kikyo, "you couldn't have seen that arrow because of Inuyasha's false kindness."
Kagome felt anger rush through her as she grabbed the arrow and pulled it out of her. She felt a gush of warm blood going down her breast. "Oh, yeah!" said Kagome, loading the same arrow she was shot with, "well eat this! From your reincarnation!" She fired the blood stained arrow at Kikyo.
Kikyo watched as she saw the arrow hit her in the same spot where Kagome was hit as she fell back, hitting the dirt. Kikyo felt the rush of anger flow through her. "Okay, that's it." She tried to move her arm, but it wouldn't move. "What?" She tried to move her body but she couldn't, she was paralyzed. All she could move was her
head. "What has happened to me?"
"Kagome must've used a stun spell," said Miroku.
Kagome fell to her knees as she put her hand on her wound. She was relieved that it was over.
Kohaku went over to Kikyo and dragged her over to their side.
Naraku was angry that those foolish people found a way to stop these so called 'loved ones'. He jumped off the tree and was heading towards Kagome.
"Damn you, girl!" he said, raising his hand to slash at Kagome with his claws. Kagome stared in horror as of right there she knew she was going to die.
"No, Kagome!" yelled Inuyasha as he struggle to pull free. But then, Miroku jumped in the way and hit Naraku with his staff, knocking him away.
"You'll have to face me first!" said Miroku.
Naraku got up and looked at the Monk. "Than come and get me," he said, beckoning Miroku.
Miroku pulled the jewels off of his arm. "I shall defeat you with what you have cursed me with." He was about open the wind tunnel until.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you," said Naraku.
"Give me one good reason, not to," Miroku said. Then, hundreds of poison insects started to form around Naraku.
"Damn it," he said, putting the jewels back on.
"You were saying?" said Naraku. Miroku charged at Naraku, swinging his staff at him but Naraku kept dodging the staff.
Sango looked at Naraku and then to Inuyasha, who was still struggling to get the arrow out of him. She then got up, went over to Inuyasha, and started pulling on the arrow. Inuyasha looked down at her.
"Oh come on," he said, "Shippo can pull better than that."
Sango shot him a dark look as she put her foot his stomach. "Look. Do you want me to help you out or not?" Inuyasha looked surprised then turned his head away, angrily.
Kagome looked from Sango and Inuyasha to Miroku and Naraku, who were now far apart. Kagome could see that Miroku was breathing very hard and sweating. Naraku stood there like he got off the couch and was ready run.
Naraku lifted his right arm and trusted it forward as he yelled, "Poison Needles!" A swarm of acid green colored needles shot out of Naraku's hand and were heading towards Miroku. Miroku dodged the needles and looked where they landed. Miroku saw a big puddle of acid green color mixed in with brown color that was once the ground.
Naraku continued his onslaught of needles at Miroku but he kept missing. Back at Sango and Inuyasha, Sango was still trying to pull the arrow out but it didn't even budge. Sango's hands slipped and she fell to the ground. Kikyo laughed.
"You fool," Kikyo said, "only a priest or a priestess can pull that arrow out and you are nothing of the sort."
Kagome looked over at Kikyo, then to Inuyasha. She got up and walked over to Inuyasha. She took her hand off her wound and put both of her hands onto the arrow.
"Do you really think you can pull the arrow out?" said Kikyo.
Kagome ignored her. She started to pull on the arrow. If I'm a reincarnation of a priestess, thought Kagome, than probably, I can pull this arrow out."
Kagome was pulling with all her might but the arrow didn't move. "You should probably give up, Kagome," said Inuyasha. He had the face of defeat.
"I'm not giving up," said Kagome.
"Look, it's not goin-" Inuyasha said but stopped as he felt the arrow slipping through him, very slowly. A smile crept up his face.
"That's it Kagome, keep pulling," said Inuyasha, cheering her on.
Kagome was pulling at her hardest, trying to ignore the pain in her shoulder. Then, she fell back, hitting the ground hard on her back, still clutching the arrow in her hands as Inuyasha fell free from the tree.
Inuyasha walked over to the Tetsusiaga, picked it up, and went over to Kagome.
"Are you alright," asked Inuyasha, with great concern in his voice.
"I'm okay, just stop Naraku," Kagome said very weakly.
Miroku dodged the poison needles again but he saw a single needle cut across his sleeve. As Miroku stopped he felt burning pain in his arm. As he looked closely at it, he saw a hole burning through his sleeve and onto his skin. Miroku quickly looked around for water as he saw a big bucket of water. Miroku quickly dived for it as he stuck his arm in the bucket. Miroku pulled his arm out, rolled up the sleeve to see a bloody circle on his forearm. Tired and weak, Miroku looked at Naraku.
"Tired already?" said Naraku as he raised his arm in the air, "well, that's just too bad."
"Hold it!"
Naraku looked behind him to see Inuyasha posed for battle.
"So, you want to face me," Naraku said.
"Enough talk," said Inuyasha, raising his sword, "Tetsusiaga!" Inuyasha thrashed his sword, creating the Windscar which was going after Naraku, but Naraku jumped over it and landed behind Inuyasha.
Inuyasha turned around and tried again but Naraku jumped over it and landed behind Inuyasha. Again, Inuyasha tried it and again Naraku jumped over them both.
How can I hit him? thought Inuyasha. Every time I swing at him, he just jumps over it, unless...
Inuyasha turned to look at Naraku. "This again," said Naraku.
Inuyasha raised his claws up in the air as he yelled, "Iron Reaver Soul Stealer!" and he slashed at Naraku. Naraku jumped into the air again.
"Ya know, there's one bad thing about staying in the air," said Inuyasha, raising his sword, "ya can't move much!" Inuyasha slashed his sword, releasing the Windscar at Naraku.
Naraku stared in shock as the light of the blade cut through him and slicing him in half. Both ends of Naraku fell in front of Inuyasha. Everybody cheered that Naraku was dead.
"You did it, Inuyasha," Sango said.
"You killed Naraku," said Miroku.
"Way to go, Inuyasha," said Kagome.
"I don't know," said Inuyasha. "That was almost too easy to defeat him."
Then, Inuyasha heard two hollow "clunks" next to him. Inuyasha looked down at what fell next to him. He picked up half of a wooden doll with string wrapped around it.
"It was a puppet!" said Inuyasha as he crushed half of the wooden doll.
"I thought you would never catch on, Inuyasha," came a familiar voice.
Inuyasha angrily looked over to see the real Naraku, but the real one wasn't wearing his baboon cape nor a shirt. All he was wearing was pants.
"I guess this is it," said Inuyasha, "This will be the final battle."
