Inuyasha: The Present Days

Disclaimer: This is the end of the sequel everyone, hoped you all enjoyed it. And I can't believe I'm saying this again but I don't own Inuyasha, I just watch it for crying out loud, damn it!

Final Chapter: Diago, The Werewolf Demon!

     Inuyasha stared upward at the enormous wolf. That can't be Diago, Inuyasha thought. That can't be, a werewolf. I thought they didn't exist.

     "Now Inuyasha," growled Diago. "You will experience true pain!" Diago raised his claws and slashed at Inuyasha. Inuyasha dodged it.

     "Inuyasha." Sesshomaru said. "I'll take it from here."

     "What?! You can't beat him on your own. Not with your fancy whips or poison claws. You need a sword like the Tetsusiaga."

     Sesshomaru smirked at Inuyasha as he pulled out a sheathed sword hidden underneath his jacket. Sesshomaru belted the sword as he unsheathed a giant sword. "This sword should be as strong as the Tetsusiaga."

     "What?! What the hell is that kinda sword?!" Inuyasha demanded.
     "This is Toukijin, my sword. It is or as strong as Tetsusiaga.

     It was forged from a Ogre's teeth and a evil blacksmith named Kaijinbou. Toukijin should be powerful enough to kill this behemoth."

     "No way!" Inuyasha yelled. "That dinky sword can not be as powerful as the Tetsusiaga!"

     "And besides," Kagome said. "Why do you want to kill Diago so badly? It's like he's done something to you and can't forget about it."

     "Sesshomaru!"

     "Who said that?" Shippo said as everyone looked around. Diago stood his ground also looking around where the voice came from.

     "It sounded like a girl," said Kagome.

     Then, in the nearby bushes a girl came out into the opening. She had long black hair, brown eyes, a small red t-shirt, blue jeans, silver high heel slippers, and the age of 21. "There you are Sesshomaru. I've been looking all over for you."

     "Rin!" said Sesshomaru.

     "Who?" Inuyasha said. "You don't mean that human over there is with you?"

     "Sesshomaru, you said I could come with you but you didn't show up at the house. Why did you leave me behind?"

     "Who is she Sesshomaru?" Inuyasha asked.

     "She is with me. She is a human I saved... a long time ago. Diago here killed her so I want to claim vengeance on him!"

     Diago looked at Sesshomaru very closely. "Now I remember you. I was wondering why that face looked familiar. Yes, I did kill her for a special caisson."

     "What's so special about killing a human!" Kagome yelled.
     "Well you see," growled Diago. "I wanted to fight Sesshomaru.

     But I couldn't you see because he would mock me and turn his back to me. So I needed a persuasion. I kidnapped little Rin there and I held her ransom for a fight against Sesshomaru. He took the bait and when he showed I killed her so he can fight at his best."

     "You monster!" Kagome yelled.
     "Why thank you."
     "How long ago did this happen?" Inuyasha asked.
     "It happened in the Feudal Era." Sesshomaru responded.
     "What?! But she's only 21! No mere human can last that long!"

     "Are we going to sit here and talk or are we going to fight this behemoth?" Sesshomaru said arrogantly. "Rin, stay away from this battle. You should go and hide." With that he ran at Diago.

     "If he thinks I'm going to run and hide, he has another thing coming." Rin said. "I'm going to stay and watch."

     Sesshomaru charged at Diago slashing at his leg. Diago howled with pain as he slashed at Sesshomaru knocking him away. Inuyasha finally drew Tetsusiaga out and started to charge at Diago.

     Inuyasha jumped up into the air with his sword posed for a vertical slash. Inuyasha came down hard and fast about to slash Diago with his sword until Diago grabbed Tetsusiaga with both of his hands. "What?!" yelled Inuyasha. Diago then threw Inuyasha back. Inuyasha flew back and landed into a tree. "Ha, that will teach you to mess with me." growled Diago.

     Just then, Diago saw a whirlwind in midair coming at him. "What the hell?" The whirlwind suddenly disappeared as Koga jumped out of it and came at Diago with a flying kick. "I don't need Jewel Shards to beat you!" he yelled as he landed a blow to the side of Diago's face. "Gotcha. Huh?" Koga saw that he didn't do anything to Diago at all. Diago then pushed away Koga by turning his head. Koga flew away from Diago and fell into a bunch of trees.

     Diago laughed. "You need to do better than that to beat me."

     "Wish granted!"

     Diago paused as he looked down to see Inuyasha on the ground poised for another vertical slash. "You're a bit too far to hit me with that sword of yours," Diago chuckled.

     "It's time to use the Windscar!"

     "What?!" Diago bellowed.

     Inuyasha slashed his sword causing a big golden light coming out of the sword. The Windscar hit Diago engulfing him into a big bright light. Inuyasha rested his sword on the ground as a big smile went across his face. His smile then turned into a frown when he saw to his horror that Diago was still alive. Diago was still standing up with his arms crossed into an X protecting his head. He then chuckled. "My thick fur protects me from any kind of danger like your sword for example."

     "No way! He survived the Windscar!" Inuyasha said.

     "Now let me show you a real blast." Diago closed his mouth and tilted his head back. Then, the bottom of his mouth started to expand as he shot his head back at Inuyasha opening his mouth. Then, a huge blast came out of Diago's mouth. Inuyasha dodged it but looked back to see the huge blast destroy everything where he was standing and around it.

     Inuyasha stopped and was about to use the Windscar again until Diago moved his head towards Inuyasha with the blast still going. Inuyasha didn't have time to move from the blast and was hit by it. Inuyasha was engulfed by the blast.

     "Inuyasha!" cried Kagome. "No! Inuyasha!"

     Diago closed his mouth and the blast disappeared. Inuyasha was nowhere to be found, all that was there was just a big crater. "And now, the hero is gone."

     "No!" yelled Shippo. "Damn you, Diago!" Shippo charged at Diago, unsheathing his sword.

     "You think that puny little sword can beat me?" Diago growled.

     "No, but I know I can beat you by out smarting you." Shippo pulled out hundreds (Well not really a hundred but you get the idea) tea leaves and threw them all over the place. Then, the tea leaves transformed into... Shippo! All the Shippos ran all over place confusing Diago of the real Shippo. The Shippos then surrounded Diago with their unsheathed swords.

     "You think you can out smart me with cheap parlor tricks?"

     "Hey! They're not cheap parlor tricks!" all the Shippos said.

     "Well it may be good but it's not that good!" Diago then tilted his head back and inhaled deeply. Then, Diago let out his blast at the Shippos. Diago moved his head around slowly destroying the Shippos. All of the fake Shippos were disappearing quick. I've got think of a way to beat him, the real Shippo thought. Before he Bar-B-Qs me! All of the remaining Shippos jumped into the air with their swords posed for a vertical slash.

     Diago stopped his blast and slashed at the remaining Shippos. The Shippos Diago slashed at disappeared leaving one Shippo left. "There you are!" Diago roared. "I've got you now!"

     Shippo panicked. His mind was racing, trying to think up a quick plan. But all he can see in his head was the time Sango attacked Naraku with her sword when Inuyasha was about to die. Shippo then turned his sword around. Then, without thinking, he threw his sword towards Diago as he made himself plummet to the ground. As Shippo landed gracefully he looked up at Diago to see his sword fly right into his mouth. "Yes!"

     Diago fell to one knee as he gagged on the sword, wrapping his hands around his throat. "Oh man." said Shippo. "I just threw my favorite sword in there."

     Diago then stopped gagging as he slowly inhaled. Shippo looked up to see what the huge werewolf was up to. Diago then cough out something. Shippo followed the blurred object with his eyes to only see his sword. "Oh crap." was all Shippo could say. "Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap."

     Diago got back to his feet as he looked down upon his puny prey. "Nice try. But it won't work again!" Diago inhaled and used his blast on Shippo. Shippo ran as fast as he could towards his sword.

     As Shippo got to his sword, he sheathed it as he used Foxfire at Diago's face. Diago's face was covered in blue flames as he cried that he couldn't see. Shippo smirked as he ran off, retreating next to Kagome. "Damn, I couldn't do anything else." he said.

     "That's okay. You did your best." said Kagome as she stared at the crater where Inuyasha was.

     As the blue flame disappeared, Diago looked down to see Sesshomaru standing beneath him with Toukijin in his hand. "I will kill. No matter what." Sesshomaru said. Sesshomaru jumped into the air with his sword poised but Diago slashed at him, knocking Sesshomaru away.

     "Sesshomaru!" Rin cried.

     Sesshomaru got back up from the slash Diago gave him and posed for battle. "You've have to do better that to defeat me."

     "Oh. Then let me show you." Diago growled as he inhaled.

     "I won't let you use that attack on me!" Sesshomaru yelled as he jumped up to Diago's face and slashed his nose.

     Diago howled at the top of his lungs from the pain. Diago then Slashed at Sesshomaru again knocking Sesshomaru away and knocking him flat.

     Kagome was still watching the crater where Inuyasha was with tears in here eyes. You left me again Inuyasha, Kagome thought as tears went down her face. Then, a hand emerged from beneath the dirt. Kagome stopped crying as she saw Inuyasha emerge from underneath the ground. Inuyasha was still holding the transformed Tetsusiaga but his shirt was gone and his jeans were all torn up. He also had cuts and bruises all over his body including smudges of dirt.

     "Diago!" Inuyasha yelled as he raised Tetsusiaga into the air.

     Sesshomaru jumped up into the air again trying to slash at Diago again but Diago hit him over the head with giant fist, burying Sesshomaru into the dirt. Diago then slashed at Sesshomaru causing him to be scooped up and thrown into the forest.

     "Diago!"

     Diago turned around to see Inuyasha with his sword raised into the air.  "Ha. You're going to use the Windscar again, aren't you? Remember last time? It didn't have any effect on me."

     Inuyasha looked madder then before as gold aurora surrounded the Tetsusiaga. "Tetsusiaga's ultimate attack-"

     "What?! Ultimate attack?!" yelled Diago.

     "Bakuryuuha!" Inuyasha slashed Tetsusiaga causing a huge gold light that was coming towards Diago. Diago didn't have time to move or do anything.

     "That power," Diago said. "I can't stop it. It's too powerful." Diago was then hit by the light, he screamed at the top of his lungs as he was disintegrating. The sound of Diago's voice faded as the light of the Bakuryuuha also faded. All that was left was one long crater of the Bakuryuuha went.

     Inuyasha sheathed Tetsusiaga and let out a heavy sigh. "Boy, that Felt like being revived from Sesshomaru except the part where I cough up dirt." Inuyasha turned towards Kagome to see her running up to him.

     "Inuyasha!" cried Kagome as she hugged Inuyasha. Inuyasha hugged her too with one arm and stroked her hair with the other as he looked up into the starry sky.

     "I thought I lost you again." cried Kagome.

     "I will never leave you. Kagome, nothing will stop me from protecting, no matter what. Not even death itself."

     Sesshomaru got up off the ground feeling sore. He looked over his shoulder to see Inuyasha and Kagome hugging each other. He also looked over beside him to see Rin standing next to him. He then looked back at Inuyasha. "Is that what true love is all about, Inuyasha? Have I found love too?" Sesshomaru whispered to himself.

     "What are you whispering about Sesshomaru?" asked Rin.
     "Lets go home Rin." They then disappeared into the forest.

     Inuyasha and Kagome looked at each other as the came together and kissed under the moonlight.

Story update: "Koga redeemed himself as the leader of the Wolf Demon Tribe."

Disclaimer: Had to put in that so you know what happen to Koga and also not to ruin the ending. Well, it's time to say goodbye again. And like last time... I want to thank Julie, her site, my computer, my keyboard, my house, the homeloaner, the same guy behind the counter at Blockbuster...
