Chapter Seven

“So, Dad, do you believe Nina?” Aries asked as he and his dad took their seats at the kitchen table.

“Hmm, well, to tell you the truth, Aries, I don’t know what to believe,” his dad said.

“But, Dad, you even saw that big bug thing,” Aries said.

“Nina, dinner time,” the mother said as she put the plates on the table in front of where everyone sat down at.

Nina ran into the kitchen and took her seat. “Ohhh, you made noodles. It’s noodles. Noodles. Noodles.” Nina began chanting.

“Nina, I want you to understand that you won’t be running back and forth to that time anymore. Understood?” her father said raising an eyebrow.

                                      Nina continued chanting.

“Dad, I don’t think she heard you,” Aries said.

Nina sighed. “Ohh, what a wonderful time I live in.”

“Nina, I will not be ignored,” her dad said.

“Huh? Oh, sorry, Dad. Did you say something?” Nina said.

                                      Her dad growled in frustration.

Inuyasha arrived at the well. “Well, here goes nothing. He jumped into the well.

Nina and her family began eating.

“Hey, Dad, you can tell Nina that she can’t go there anymore now,” Aries said.

Nina looked up from her food. “Go where?” She looked towards her dad. “Go where?”

                                      “You can’t go to-“

“What do you think you’re doing?” a voice suddenly said.

Nina turned around to see Inuyasha standing right in the kitchen. “Inuyasha? What are you doing here?”

Inuyasha grabbed her by the arm. “Taking you back to my time, what else?”

“Hey! I said three days,” Nina said.

“I don’t care what you said. We’re going back to my world,” Inuyasha said and began dragging Nina out of the kitchen.

Nina was about to object again when her father stood up.

“She is not going to your world. She’s staying here,” her father said.

Inuyasha turned to face him. “She’s coming with me.”

“I don’t think you understand,” Nina’s father said going over to Inuyasha. “She is not going with you. She is staying here.”

Nina looked towards her father when something green caught her eye. She looked towards it. It was on the sleeve of Inuyasha’s shirt. “Inuyasha, there’s something on your shirt.”

Inuyasha looked down at her. “Something?”

Nina lifted it up and showed it to him. “Yeah, this.”

Inuyasha looked at her hand confused. “Huh?”

“You mean you can’t see it?” Nina asked. The green stuff felt all slimy and looked like a strand of hair. It started moving. Nina screamed and threw it.

“Nina, your hand,” her mother said.

Nina looked down at her hand to see it was bleeding. She looked towards her parents and Aries. “Couldn’t you guys see it?”

Her family looked at her puzzled.

                                      “See what?” her mother asked.

I’m the only one who could see it? This must be something from Inuyasha’s time. The only reason Inuyasha would come to get me is because… they’re in danger! “Shippo, Sesshomaru, Koga, Sakura, and Kai!” She grabbed Inuyasha by the sleeve of his shirt and dragged him with her to her room. She then closed her door as her parents and brother ran after her. “Oh, I need a lock for my door.” She pushed one of her dressers against the door so they wouldn’t be able to get in. Nina then looked towards the center of the room to see swarms of green slimy hair. “You brought it here?! I can’t believe you!”

“I’m guessing you can see that stuff then,” Inuyasha said.

                                      “Yeah, I can,” Nina said.

Just then the green hair started going towards them. Nina dodged them. Inuyasha, on the other hand, didn’t have as much luck. They went around him tying him up. Inuyasha tried getting free to find that they only tightened.

“Oh, no. Inuyasha,” Nina said as she saw the hair grow tighter and tighter around him. What am I going to do? What am I going to do?

Inuyasha did the same thing he had done the last time he had gotten into this predicament. The hair broke, but several more went in place of that.

“Inuyasha, look out!” Nina cried. “To your left.”

“Here?” Inuyasha asked clawing at where he thought it was, but missed.

                                      “No. Your right,” Nina said.

“Here?!” Inuyasha asked once again clawing at where he thought it was, but missed.

Ohh. He’s missing. There has to be something to make him see it, Nina thought frantically. She then remembered what had happened back in the kitchen. It made me bleed. She looked around the room to find the main strand coming out of her floor. Right there. That’s the main strand. She ran over to it and put her hands around it making them bleed. “Over here, Inuyasha. Attack this one.”

Inuyasha ran over to the strand clawing at any that may come at him out of nowhere. “I see it!” He cut it. The hair disappeared.

Nina fell to her knees letting out a sigh of relief.

Inuyasha went over to her. He then put his red shirt on her. “We’re going against a dragon, so it’d probably be best for you to have this.”

Nina looked up at him and smiled. “Thanks.”

“Dragons do like to use fire, after all,” Inuyasha said looking away.

The two then heard banging on the door and angry shouts of “Let us in!”

Nina stood up. “Umm, I think we had better leave now.”

                                      “Good idea,” Inuyasha said.

They went to the center of the room as the blue light surrounded them.

Sesshomaru had decided to do what Inuyasha had done to get free. So, he pulled back as far as the hair would allow him, grabbed what he thought was a lot of it, and cut it. He then jumped up and slashed at the dragon’s arm. The dragon roared in pain and dropped Sakura and Kai. Sesshomaru quickly ran to them before they hit the ground. The dragon then blew out flaming blue fire. Sesshomaru quickly threw the kids to the ground and went on top of them to shield them from the fire. After it was gone, he got up.

“Are you two okay?” Sesshomaru asked.

                                      The two kids nodded.

“Okay. Then I want you two to go hide somewhere. Don’t come out of hiding unless it’s Inuyasha or me, got that?” Sesshomaru said.

The kids nodded again and ran off.

Sesshomaru turned back around to face the dragon. “Time to get this over with.”

The dragon made what looked like a smile on its face.

Inuyasha and Nina climbed out of the well.

“Any of that weird stuff?” Inuyasha asked.

“Not at the moment,” Nina said.

“Good,” Inuyasha said. He kneeled down. “Climb on.”

Nina obeyed. As soon as she was on, Inuyasha began running to the spot Sesshomaru was at.

“Are the kids okay?” Nina asked. “Shippo? Koga? Sesshomaru?”

“Well, Kai and Sakura were still in that dragon’s claws when I had left. Shippo and Koga got knocked out. Sesshomaru was tied up by that stuff when I had left,” Inuyasha said.

Nina’s face was felt with worry. “Ohhhh. I hope they’re not hurt or anything. Or even worse. This is all my fault. I shouldn’t have left.” She looked down at the ground. “I’m so sorry.”

Inuyasha looked up at her in the corner of his eye. “Don’t be. You didn’t do anything bad. It’s not your fault.”

Nina sighed sadly. “I-I guess you’re right.” Why is it that I was able to see the hair and no one else was? How is it that if I’m really Kagome’s reincarnation, that we both can exist at the same time? All this hair and stuff is reminding me of Yura. She let out a gasp.

                                      “What?” Inuyasha asked.

                                      “Yura…” was all Nina said.

Huh? Yura? Does she mean Yura of the Hair? What’s she got to do with any of this? Inuyasha thought. He saw the clearing of the trees and bushes. He stopped right before it ended. “Get off. We’re here.”

Nina did. She then grabbed out an arrow from her quiver and placed it on her bow. (She had gotten her stuff from Inuyasha when they had left. He had been carrying it with him all along for “safe keeping.”) “I’m ready.”

She and Inuyasha then ran out of the clearing and onto the scene. The dragon was holding Sesshomaru down with one of its claws. It was pulling back its other claw in the form of a fist getting ready to punch him. Nina lifted her bow up and aimed the arrow at the dragon’s arm. She then released it. It hit the dragon in the ear instead.

                                      “Umm, oops,” Nina said.

The dragon turned its face around to see Nina as she began aiming another arrow. It roared and breathed out fire. Inuyasha and Nina didn’t have time to react. Nina screamed and shielded herself with her arms. Inuyasha was out of range of the fire and was watching the fire surround Nina in horror.

Nina closed her eyes as she felt the burning heat. “Help me… Inuyasha.”

The dragon opened its mouth again, but did not blow out fire this time. Inuyasha felt stuff tighten around him and knew that the dragon had sent out more hair. He tried the same tactic he had used last time, but it didn’t work this time for the hair had grown, as Yura would’ve put it. Inuyasha fell down onto his back. The dragon’s lip curled up as it smiled.

“So, this is the power of the so-called ‘Great Inuyasha.’ Not much, is it? Just like a half-breed. Half-demon means half the power. Half the power means that you are dead,” the dragon said.

“Dead?” Inuyasha asked. “Feh. You wish.”

The dragon’s smile widened. “No. I do not wish. I know.” It then felt something climbing up his back. It turned its head to see Nina climbing up his back. He grabbed her with one of its claws and made her look at its eyes. “I thought I had gotten rid of you.”

Nina smiled. “Well, I guess you didn’t, did you?”

The dragon glared at her. “I may have not killed you then, but you are as sure as dead now.” It began squishing her.

Nina winced in pain. But tried not to show it. Her claws appeared and she glared at the dragon. “There’s something you should know before you continue attacking me.”

“Oh. And what is that?” the dragon asked.

“You should never ever…” Pink light began surrounding her. “Mess with a priestess who is also half DEMON!!” Nina cut the dragon’s hand off with her claws. The pink light went down her arm, onto her claws, and into the dragon’s arm. The arm turned black and fell off. It then disintegrated.

The dragon glared at Nina. “Now I know why Naraku feared you.”

Nina smiled. “Oh, do you now?” Nina asked. She then suddenly felt very tired. Her eyes grew heavy. She blinked trying to stay awake and looked towards Inuyasha to see him still struggling to get free. She then looked down to see Sesshomaru was still being held down to the ground. She then looked back towards Inuyasha. “Inuyasha… help… me…” She passed out just as she hit the ground.

Inuyasha slashed at what felt like all the hairs that were holding him down. He then got up and ran over to Nina. He kneeled down and gently moved her face so that he could see it. “Nina?”

                                      Nina groaned. “Inu-chan…”

Inuyasha got up and looked towards the dragon angrily. “You won’t get away with what you’ve done.” He charged after the dragon and slashed at it. The dragon was taken aback by Inuyasha’s sudden strength and speed that it hadn’t seen this coming.

The dragon fell down on its side. It then got up smiling. “If I had known that in order to get you to use your full strength and make you move faster was to harm that girl like that, I would’ve done it sooner.”

Inuyasha growled. “Shut up, you scum!” He charged after the dragon.

Sesshomaru got up and went over to Nina. This girl, she is much more than just Kagome’s reincarnation. In fact, she may not even be her reincarnation. He picked her up and ran into the forest. Naraku fears her. I can’t let him have her. Or it might mean the end of the world. This girl holds great potential. I won’t let Naraku ruin it.

Inuyasha clawed at the dragon. He then used his claws of blood. The dragon cried out in pain as one of the claws had cut of its tail.

“You will regret that, half-breed,” the dragon said.

Inuyasha smiled. “No. I won’t regret it, but you’ll regret that you harmed Nina and all my other friends.” He jumped up and held his claw up high. “Claws of Exorcism!” He cut the dragon in half. It cried out in pain.

“I will have my revenge for Lord Naraku shall avenge me!!” the dragon cried out as it died.

Inuyasha wiped the dragon’s blood away. “So, you worked for Naraku, eh? Well, once he dies, I’m sure he’ll be happy to join you in hell. You both will have so much fun. Oh, and give my regards to everyone else that I killed.” With that said, Inuyasha went over to Shippo and Koga. He hit them both on the side of the head. “Wake up.”

Koga and Shippo woke up rubbing their heads.

                                      “Where’s Sesshomaru?” Shippo asked.

“And where are Sakura and Kai?” Koga asked.

“And the dragon?” Shippo asked. He spotted the dragon. “Never mind.”

“Sesshomaru ran off somewhere and so did the kids,” Inuyasha said.

“Nina! Where’s Nina?!” Koga said grabbing Inuyasha by the sleeve of his shirt.

“Oh, calm down. She’s fine,” Inuyasha said slapping Koga’s hand away. I hope.

Sesshomaru watched Nina closely. Sakura and Kai were with him.

“Is she… dead?” Sakura asked as tears began to fill her eyes.

“No, Sakura, she’s not,” Sesshomaru said. He remembered the light surrounding her when she had attacked the dragon. Just what are you, Nina? How can you have such power? “I think she’s just a bit exhausted.”

Kai frowned. “Where are Inuyasha, Shippo, and Koga?”

“They’ll be here soon,” Sesshomaru said. “Don’t worry.”

Just then he heard rustling in the bushes.

Sesshomaru got up, stood in front of Nina, put the kids behind him, and grabbed out Toukijin. “Who’s there? Show yourself.”

Inuyasha, Shippo, and Koga came out of the bushes.

“Is she…” Shippo began unable to finish as he spotted Nina.

                                      “No. She’s alive,” Sesshomaru said.

Inuyasha also spotted Nina. “So, she hasn’t woken up yet?”

                                      Sesshomaru shook his head.

Koga looked like he had seen a ghost. “Nina…” He turned to face Inuyasha. “What have you done to my woman?!”

Inuyasha growled and glared at him. “I didn’t do anything to her! It was the dragon who did it to her!” That or it was her power that did that to her. “And she’s not your woman!”

                                      “Yes, she is!” Koga shouted.

                                      “No, she’s not!” Inuyasha yelled.

                                      “Is!”

                                      “Not!”

                                      “IS!”

                                      “NOT!”

Just then, Nina woke up. She rubbed her tired eyes. “What’s all the commotion about?”

Inuyasha and Koga stopped arguing and looked towards Nina. A smile spread across their faces.

“Nina!” Koga cried running over to her and embracing her.

“Umm, Koga, it’s nice and all seeing that you were worried about me, but this is just a little bit too close for comfort,” Nina said.

                                      Koga continued hugging her.

Inuyasha growled and pulled him off her. “Didn’t you hear her?! She said get off!” He threw Koga onto the ground.

“You’re a bit too protective of her, don’t you think?” Sesshomaru asked.

Inuyasha glared at him. “Shut up!”

Nina looked at the two confused. “Too protective? What are you talking about?”

Sesshomaru smiled. “Well, Inuyasha here has been yelling at Koga constantly just for being near you. I’d say he was jealous.”

“That’s the must ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard,” Nina said. “He couldn’t be jealous because he loves Kagome, not me. He’s only doing what a friend would do.”
“I don’t think of her like that,” Inuyasha said. “I think of her like a little sister. That’s all.”

Sesshomaru’s smile disappeared. “Well, it was just a guess.”

Kagome nodded. “I see.” Sango and Miroku had finally told her everything Alendria had told them. She smiled. “Well, after we find Inuyasha, let’s go find that half-breed and priestess.”

                                      Sango and Miroku smiled.

“That’s a great idea,” Miroku said.

“It’ll be like old times, only we’ll have five new companions,” Sango said.

“We’ll have so much fun,” Kagome said happily. “Izumi will finally meet her father, I’ll get to see Inuyasha again, Izumi will have some new friends, I’ll get to have some new friends and see old ones as well, and we’ll all be together again. Won’t that be great, Izumi?”

Izumi looked up at her and smiled. “Yep.”

Nina grabbed her backpack and put it on her back. She was back at her house getting her stuff before going back to Inuyasha’s world. This morning she wore a short sleeve red shirt with silver cursive-like writing on it saying Angel, blue jeans, and gray tennis shoes. She heard a knock on the door. Nina stood still and tried not making a sound.

“Nina, it’s all right. It’s only me,” her mother’s voice said. “Your dad’s not home. Can I come in?”

Nina sighed and thought about this. “Oh, all right. You can come in.”

The door opened and her mom entered the room. Anna followed her.

“Here. Take this with you,” her mom said handing her a first aid kit.

“Umm,” Nina said unsure if she should. She then remembered the wounds Inuyasha and the others had gotten in their last battle. “Okay. Sure.” She took it smiling. “Thanks, Mom.”

Her mother smiled and left saying, “This’ll be our little secret.”

Anna smiled and sat down on Nina’s bed. She was wearing a black short sleeve DBZ shirt, blue jeans, gray tennis shoes, and had her hair in a short ponytail.

Nina joined her as she put the first aid kit in her backpack. “Are you still grounded?”

Anna sighed. “Yeah, but I snuck out. I’m going with you to Inuyasha’s era.”

“But you’ll get into more trouble,” Nina said.

Anna shrugged. “Oh, well. Who cares?”

The two then heard another knock on the door.

“Who’s there?” Nina asked hoping it wasn’t her father.

                                      “Sharon,” a voice said.

                                      Nina sighed. “Come in.”

The door opened and Sharon did enter only it wasn’t the Sharon Nina had expected. It was the eighth grader Sharon. She had dirty blonde hair that reached her shoulders and brown eyes that almost appeared gold. She wore a black long sleeve Gundam Wing shirt with Duo and his gundam on it, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes. She was carrying a purple backpack.

Nina smiled. “Sharon…” She then looked towards Anna. “Did you invite her?”

                                      Anna smiled. “Yep.”

Nina turned to face Sharon. “Hi.”

Sharon smiled and crossed her arms. “Hi.”

“Are you coming with us?” Nina asked.

                                      “Yep,” Sharon said.

                                      Nina’s smiled widened. “Great!”

“Well, what are you guys waiting for?” Anna asked.

                                      “Let’s go!” Sharon said.

Nina stood in front of the Go-Shinboku Tree where Inuyasha was lying down on a tree branch. Next to her stood Anna and Sharon. Nina was holding the first aid kit. “Inuyasha, get down here.”

                                      “Why should I?” Inuyasha asked.

“Because I want to check on your wounds,” Nina said.

“You should know better,” Inuyasha said.

“What’s that suppose to mean?!” Nina demanded.

“That I’m not coming down,” Inuyasha said.

“You are if I say you are,” Nina said.

“You can’t make me,” Inuyasha said.

                                      “Oh, yeah!” Nina said.

                                      “Yeah!” Inuyasha said.

Nina closed her eyes. “Sit, boy!” She opened her eyes. “Did it work?”

Inuyasha smiled. “You idiot, that’s not gonna work on me unless you’re Kagome.”

                                      “Sit, boy!” another voice said.

This time Inuyasha fell out of the tree and onto the ground.

“What the…” Inuyasha glared at Nina. “How did you do that, you witch?”

                                      “It wasn’t me,” Nina said.

                                      “It wasn’t?” Inuyasha asked.

“It wasn’t,” another voice said. “It was me.”

Inuyasha got up and turned around. “Kagome…”

Standing in front of him, Nina, Anna, and Sharon was Kagome who was holding Izumi’s hand and Miroku and Sango who were smiling.

“Hello again, old friend,” Miroku said.

Kagome was smiling. Tears filled her eyes. “Inuyasha…”

Inuyasha and Kagome stared at each other for a long time. Then they ran towards each other. Kagome threw her arms around his neck and began sobbing into his chest. Inuyasha wrapped his arms around her waist and held her close to him stroking her hair.

Izumi watched in puzzlement. Miroku and Sango continued smiling.

“I’ve missed you for so long,” Inuyasha said.

                                      “So have I,” Kagome said.

“I thought about you non stop,” Inuyasha said.

                                      “Same here,” Kagome said.

“I love you,” Inuyasha said cupping her chin in his hand gently moving her face up so he could stare into her eyes.

                                      “I do, too,” Kagome said.

                                      The two then kissed.

Nina smiled. She then sadly looked down at the ground as tears filled her eyes. I’ll never have anyone like that.

Anna and Sharon turned away and started talking about what they’ve been doing at school. Sango and Miroku turned to leave. Izumi got grossed out when she saw Inuyasha and Kagome kissed and looked down at the ground.

Inuyasha and Kagome finally stopped kissing and stared into each other’s eyes. Inuyasha then spotted Izumi. His ears laid flat against his head as his smile disappeared and the glow in his eyes went distant. Kagome noticed this.

                                      “What’s wrong?” Kagome asked.

“You… have a kid,” Inuyasha said sadly.

“Huh?” Kagome looked towards Izumi. She then realized why Inuyasha was suddenly sad. She looked back towards. “Inuyasha, no, you’ve got it all wrong. She’s our daughter.”

Inuyasha’s ears suddenly stood up, his eyes lit up, and he smiled revealing his fangs. “Really?”

                                      “Um-hmm,” Kagome said happily.

Inuyasha went over to Izumi. Izumi looked up at him smiling.

                                      “Hi,” Izumi said shyly.

“Hey,” Inuyasha said. “I’m your daddy.”

Izumi’s eyes widened. She then smiled with an even bigger smile revealing her little fangs. “Daddy!” She threw her arms around his neck.

Inuyasha picked her up. He then spun her around. Izumi giggled.

Just then, Sesshomaru, Koga, Shippo, Sakura, and Kai arrived. Shippo ran over to Kagome as soon as he spotted her and hugged her.

                                      “Kagome, you’re back,” Shippo said.

Kagome looked down at Shippo. She hardly recognized the fox demon. “Shippo?”

Shippo looked up at her and nodded. “I missed you a lot.”

“So have I. So have I,” Kagome said. She let go of Shippo and went over to Izumi and Inuyasha. “I think it’s time for Izumi to meet the others. And for me to meet your new friends.”

Inuyasha nodded and put Izumi down. He then went over to the others. “Izumi, this is your aunt and uncle, Sango and Miroku (they stood there smiling), this is your half uncle, Sesshomaru (he just stood there with his arms crossed), this is Koga (he also stood there with his arms crossed and waved a little), this is Shippo (he smiled), these two are Kai and Sakura (Kai just smiled and had his arms crossed while Sakura smiled and said hi), this is Nina (she smiled and said hi), this is Anna (she smiled and waved), and this is, umm…”

“Sharon,” Sharon said with her arms crossed, smiling a little, and waved. “Hi, kid.”

Kagome went over to Inuyasha and picked up Izumi. “Well, it’s been nice seeing all of you again and meeting all of you new comers.”

“We need somewhere to stay for the night,” Inuyasha said.

“There’s a village nearby that’s not under Naraku’s control,” Miroku said. “Lady Kaede said she would meet us there.”

                                      “Then let’s go,” Inuyasha said.

“Very well,” Miroku said turning to leave.

Nina was about to follow when the scene suddenly changed. She was on top of hill looking down at a village. There was a wooden gate around the village. She heard horns being blown and saw guards rushing to the windows that were on the gate. They got cannons ready. She heard screaming woman and crying babies. She then heard loud cries of Naraku is coming. She then heard a loud rumbling. She turned to face where it was coming from. There was a big army that came with several soldiers riding horses, elephants, or just walking on their own feet. In the far back she could faintly see Naraku riding in a carriage on an elephant’s back.

Wait a sec! What are elephants doing here? Elephants aren’t from Japan, Nina thought. The scene then changed again. Nina was still standing on the same hill and was looking down at the village, but the village was in flames now. Naraku and his army were now gone. The scene changed again. This time, Nina was in the village and the flames were gone. She looked around to see several bodies of dead people. Some had spears through them, arrows, swords, or daggers. There were even dead woman and dead children and babies. She continued walking around to see dead bodies of demons as well. She then stopped and gasped. Lying down right in front of her were the bodies of Miroku, Sango, Kagome, Izumi, Inuyasha, Kai, Sakura, Koga, Shippo, Kaede, Kirara, Sharon, Anna, and… herself. Nina screamed as tears filled her eyes. She fell to her knees and began sobbing. She then heard someone’s voice.

“Nina? Nina, what’s wrong?” the voice asked.

She felt a hand on her shoulder. The scene began changing again.

“Nina? Nina? Nina?” the voice continued saying.

“Leave me alone!” Nina cried as the scene continued to change. It then began fading leaving Nina where she originally was. Inuyasha was kneeled down next to her with his hand on her shoulder.

“Nina? Nina, are you okay?” Inuyasha asked.

Nina finally noticed him and turned her tear stained face towards him. Tears were still going down her face. She then hugged Inuyasha burying her face in his shirt. “Oh, Inuyasha, it was horrible.” She began sobbing again.

Kagome and the others watched in puzzlement.

“Horrible? What was horrible?” Inuyasha asked.

Nina continued sobbing not answering him.

Inuyasha sighed and embraced the girl looking towards Kagome for help.

                                      Kagome shrugged.

Inuyasha frowned and turned back to face Nina looking down at her crying figure. “Nina, what’s wrong? What did you see? What happened?”

Nina continued crying and still didn’t answer him.

Sharon and Anna exchanged glances and went over to Nina.

“Nina, are you okay?” Anna asked.

“Come on, Nina. Tell us what happened,” Sharon said.

                                      Nina still continued sobbing.

Koga went over to Nina and kneeled down beside her. “Come on, now, Nina. We have to go. I’m sure what you saw isn’t that bad. It can’t be as bad as Naraku.”

This hadn’t helped one bit. In fact, it only made it worse as Nina had started sobbing even more and louder, too.

Inuyasha gave Koga a glare and turned back to look at Nina. “If you’re not going to tell us, can you at least stand up so I can carry you and take you to this village. Then, maybe once we get there, you could tell us what happened. If you don’t want to, then you don’t have to.”

                                      Nina looked up at him.

                                      He wiped her tears away.

                                      She sniffed and nodded. “O-okay.”

Inuyasha smiled and turned around. “Well, get on.”

Nina obeyed him and got on. Inuyasha got up once she was on and looked towards Miroku. Miroku nodded and turned to leave again. All of them then went towards the village.
