Orga and Eugene argue over recovering Shino's body as Mikazuki critically injures Julieta in an intense duel and the Hotarubi self-destructs, releasing a Nano-Mirror Chaff that disrupts all communication with the Arianrhod fleet. Meanwhile, McGillis battles Gaelio, but his left hand gives in from his stab wound and Isurugi sacrifices himself to block Gaelio's drill knee attack. After Tekkadan and the revolutionary forces retreat to Mars, Gaelio recovers Julieta while Orga, Eugene, and McGillis discuss their next plan of strategy. As they arrive to Mars, they learn that the Mars Branch is withholding support from McGillis as he has been officially stripped of his rank and title back on Earth.
