Smash Kurata's Ambition! Fly Yatagaramon!

Picking up from last episode, Mercurimon has collapsed with a wound Kurata says is untreatable. "Digimon are dangerous and must be destroyed," he says. " My goal is Digimon genocide!" An angry Masaru goes after Kurata, but the man calls for his Gizmon: AT to attack the boy. Masaru rams his fist into the Gizmon: AT!
Digisoul.....Full Charge!
Agumon evolves to RiseGreymon (a.k.a RizeGreymon)!

RiseGreymon uses his "Trident Revolver" on the Gizmon, but it has no effect. What's more....it's defense is sharp, ribbon-like arms that send RiseGreymon flying! Touma, Yoshino, and their digimon prepare.

Gaomon evolves to MachGaogamon!
Raramon evolves to Lilamon!

All their attacks are useless on the Gizmon: AT. Kurata chuckles. He tells them it was made from the Digimon he's captured, who were modified to create a new Digimon, and it has NO heart. The DATS team is shocked! "If you agree to cooperate with me in my Digimon annihilation plans, I'm willing to let your Digimon live." Kurata tells them, "If you oppose, you will be convicted of treason!" The team absolutely refuses!

Meanwhile, Ikuto is begging Mercurimon to hang in there, but the large Digimon's wound is slowly eating away at him. He tells Ikuto that a world where both Digimon and humans can co-exist would be best for him. Both he and Suguru Daimon (Masaru's father) had hoped for that. Suguru even left a digivice for Ikuto to use one day. When Mercurimon deteriorates more, Ikuto begs him not to die and leave him behind!

Returning to the others, their fight with Gizmon: AT is futile. The heartless Digimon is very powerful. "Why don't you just give up?" Kurata says. When Masaru refuses, Kurata says..."Your just like your father." He explained how ten years ago he had advised Professor Daimon (his superior) to eliminate all Digimon. Professor Daimon refused calling him a coward. When Masaru, also, calls him a coward, Kurata angrily threatens to eliminate the DATS team as well as their digimon in a so-called "accident."

Gizmon: AT, evolve!!

Kurata used artificial digisoul to pseudo-evolve Gizmon: AT to an even more powerful heartless digimon.....Perfect Level, Gizmon: XT! It begins firing at the group with incredible destructive power! The combined attacks of Lila Shower, Howling Cannon, and Rising Destroyer do little but knock Gizmon: XT over....it was still in one piece. Mercurimon sees that Masaru and the others cannot defeat it in their current level. He staggers and slowly rises to his feet. He helps Ikuto realize what it is that he should really hate. Then the large Digimon attacks the Gizmon: XT doing some definite damage. Masaru asks why he helped them. Mercurimon responded by saying that he believed the time WILL come when Digimon and humans can live together in harmony. Right after those words, the partially damaged Gizmon: XT fired another beam that caused Mercurimon to totally disintegrate.

Kurata mumbles and turns to the others saying....now, this is the end for you. Ikuto comes charging up to the evil man. "It's not all humans that I should hate!" Ikuto screams, "It's humans with evil hearts!"

Falcomon evolves to ... Yatagaramon (Perfect level. Special attack is Mikafutsu no Kami!)!
The flying Yatagaramon uses the claws on his feet to ram the Gizmon: XT's firing power and then uses his Mikafutsu no Kami to reduce it to digitama. Seeing this, Kurata orders one of his soldiers to open a digital gate where he and his men escape to the human world.

After everything....Ikuto stares at Mercurimon's thrown and resolves to live as a human with a Digimon's heart. Masaru nods his approval and says, "Yes! Now let's go after Kurata.

In the human world, Kurata stands before his computers watching the development of a Digimon he is creating. "So they destroyed one of my masterpieces," he says, "Well I have more....many, many more!"

This doesn't look good! Just what is Kurata planning? Keep watching.....
