Again in the Digital World. Insekimon's Rage.

Ikuto sits quietly in his room staring out the window and recalling some of the final words spoken by SaberLeomon. It begins to rain as if the skies portray the digimon's tears.

At DATS, the group is still unable to identify the digimon (who we know is a Gizmon) that fired the beam at SaberLeomon. As they are watching the footage from the battle, in walks Captain Satsuma, Kurata, and many soldiers. Seems the transmitter has been fixed, and they want to send Kurata and his troops into the Digital World. It was an order from the Confidentiality Ministry. Chief Hashiba demands that DATS enter the digital world and destroy the root of all this trouble, Mercurimon! In a flashback of the Captains meeting with Hashiba, it shows how Kurata discussed how they would negotiate with Mercurimon so no one would get hurt. Brilliant idea, the Chief thinks and puts Kurata in charge. (Bad move...this man is obviously devious!) Hearing all this, Masaru is totally against it and wants to go himself. Touma stops him. He looks at Kurata and says that he must make adjustments to the Digital Drive in order to send so many people. He asked for a day to do so. Kurata and Touma exchange looks that obviously have the blond boy shaken.

That evening at the Daimon home, Masaru explains to Ikuto what must be done. Ikuto demands that he go too. "If so, where will you stand?" Agumon inquires. Hours later, Ikuto has difficulty sleeping recalling what Agumon had said at dinner.

The next day in the digital world, Mercurimon remembers the Daimon's and wonders if there may be some "good" humans. Gotsumon, of course, objects. Suddenly, the larger digimon senses the presence of humans. Gotsumon says leave it to him.

Outside and in icy surroundings, the DATS group, Kurata, and his troops have all been transmitted to the Digital World. It isn't long before they are faced with Gotsumon demanding that they return to their own world. Kurata announces that they come in peace and would like to meet with Mercurimon, but Gotsumon does not believe them. He orders Zudomon (Perfect Level Digimon) to attack. Kurata and his men take cover as they leave the fighting to the DATS team.

As usual, Masaru impulsively charges, but this time he and Agumon are sent flying. Zudomon's ice spikes took them by surprise. That's when Touma goes into action.

Gaomon evolves to MachGaogamon! And after a few tough moments.....
DigiSoul.....Full Charge....Perfect Evolution!
Raramon evolves to Lilamon.

Soon MachGaogamon and Lilamon are able to reduce Zudomon to digitama with their attacks. An angry Gotsumon declares that he will not allow them to hurt Mercurimon and proceeds to show them his true form.
Gotsumon evolves to Insekimon.

Back on Earth, Mrs. Daimon has climbed on the roof with a pondering Ikuto. She tells him he is the only one that can understand the feelings of both digimon and humans.

Returning to the Digital World, Insekimon has used his "Cosmos Flash" attack on Touma and the others. A moment later, Masaru appears out of nowhere. "You seem to have forgotten about me!" he says giving Insekimon a sharp right fist.

Agumon evolves to RizeGreymon (RiseGreymon)!

RizeGreymon uses his "Solid Strike" attack, but Insekimon's speed allows him to easily dodge it. In fact, his speed is so quick that he is able to strike all our digimon heroes! Insekimon has super speed making it hard to retaliate. Masaru pipes in saying that when he attacks, we can find him and paralyze him with Lilamon's "Un Deux Pollen!" Sooooo....as soon as Insekimon attacked RizeGreymon, Lilamon used her "UDP" (must I spell it out??). Then MachGaogamon added his "Winning knuckle" to bring Insekimon down. Surprise! He walks out from the smoke and debris ready to unleash another "Cosmos Flash!" Too late! RizeGreymon uses his Trident Revolver, and Insekimon is reduced to digitama as well. Kurata comes out from his hiding spot clapping his hands for the DATS group.

In the human world, Ikuto asks Captain Satsuma to send him the digital World. He made a decision, and he wants the fighting to stop.

A short time later, Kurata and the others come face to face with Mercurimon. Masaru says that he will take on the huge digimon in a man to man fight. Just as they are about to exchange punches, Ikuto arrives in the Digital World and screams for them to "STOP."
