Save Your Mother, Ikuto. Hagurumon's Cage

The DATS group has arrived at Ikuto's home, but he can't seem to remember anything about it. It's been 10 years, and he was only a child after all. When they ring the bell, no one answers, but Agumon detects someone in back. They observe (unseen) a pretty woman with flowers talking to her baby. Ikuto sees this and tearfully runs off. He runs past a road where a man on a motorcycle just misses him. The man sees Falcomon along with the boy and knows it is a Digimon. Running after Ikuto, Masaru and Agumon can't stop in time and run right into the man. Yoshino continues her pursuit of the boy. Masaru is surprised when the man says "Your from DATS?" He says he's Kenji Noguchi, Ikuto's father. He had already heard from Satsuma. He says knowing this is enough...you can go back now. What???

Mr. Noguchi explains: It was ten years ago...he and his wife were investigating the digital gate.....
Flashback begins: Events show how the child and his crib were sucked into the other side of the digital gate........into the Digital World. In an attempt to find the child, they joined the Digital World Exploration Team. While in the digital world, they could only find the toy, Ikuto was holding. His mother was so deeply hurt that she wouldn't speak to anyone.
End Flashback.
Finally after 10 years she had a baby girl. Mr. Noguchi is afraid if she finds out about Ikuto, she will get hurt once again. Masaru is furious at this man's decision, but leaves thinking, "How could he call himself a father?"

Not far off, Falcomon is trying to console Ikuto. The boy insists Yukidarumon was his mother. "Have you forgotten what the humans did?" He says Again, flashbacks show the events that took place when Yukidarumon was destroyed. Ikuto tells Falcomon he will prove that woman is not his mother.

A short time later, Mr. Noguchi is looking at a picture in their abandoned lab. A thunderstorm occurs suddenly, and lightning sets the digital gate open for the first time in 10 years. Misuzu Noguchi enters the lab. "Could it be Ikuto coming back?" she screams! It's not Ikuto, it's Hagurumon (Child level digimon similar to gears. Haguruma is Japanese for gear). His special attack is darkness gear, where a black gear is implanted into the opponent allowing control over them at will.

Hagurumon shoots out many dark gears.....one hits Ikuto's toy robot causing it's size to increase and engulf their home. Misuzu is able to pass off their baby girl to Mr. Noguchi just before she is swallowed up by their home.

Meanwhile, Masaru has caught up to Yoshino. They haven't been able to find Ikuto. Yoshino receives a call from Captain Satsuma saying they detected a new digimon response right where Ikuto's parents are! Ikuto arrives at the home first and sees who it is. He is sure it was sent by Gotsumon to attack them. But Falcomon doesn't agree. They were told that Hagurumon were stubborn and don't listen to anyone's orders so he must of come on his own. Mr. Noguchi shouts that Misuzu is trapped inside. Masaru and Yoshino go after it. A slightly reluctant Ikuto goes as well. Suddenly the thing begins to say a child's words "....Mama where are you?....Don't leave me alone...."

Touma radios them saying he found a very strong energy of thoughts. In the past he told them Digimon absorb the desire of humans and go wild and violent....Hagurumon may be affected by someone's strong thoughts. Ikuto begins to recall his frightened night in the digital world and how he clung to his toy robot. However, he still denies he is human. "Stop lying to yourself," Masaru shouted. "Even if you never met, the feelings a child has for their parents don't disappear." He adds grabbing the tag around his neck. "Let's go save your mother, Ikuto."

Masaru charges and strikes....his hand glows....

Agumon evolves to RiseGreymon!
The two battle until they must stop or Ikuto's mother could be injured. It's up to Ikuto now to retrieve his mother. With the help of Falcomon he releases his mother and gets her to safety. Now RiseGreymon can finish the job. With trident revolver, Hagurumon is reduced to digitama as the toy robot resumes to normal.

Misuzu embraces her husband and turns to Ikuto. She is overwhelmed with joy to see him and tearfully hugs her once missing child (sweet reunion get the tissues). The reunion is interrupted when Director Hashiba arrives to arrest Ikuto's father for illegal possession of digimon and the opening of the digital gate, as well as, smuggling from the digital world and investigating digimon. When Misuzu tries to defend her husband, they arrest her. As they are taking them away, Ikuto screams for them to stop. He says, "The one who did all this was me, Digital World's warrior, Ikuto! I am here to wipe out the stupid humans. A digimon of justice!"

"He's an accomplice," Hashiba says, "get him!" Falcomon attacks with his Uchitake Otoshi (dropping small fire crackers), and the two disappear. Director Hashiba insists everyone go after him!

In the digital world, Gotsumon is telling Mercurimon that it was Ikuto that betrayed them. The large digimon can't believe this to be true. Gotsumon says that it IS true and because of it, they should attack the human world. Mercurimon refuses...saying if they were to go, their allies could get hurt. "It's still not the time," he says. Just then a huge digimon enters. It's Saber Leomon. "Long time no see," he says to Mercurimon.
