The Target is Ikuto!? Gotsumon's Plot

As doctors are trying to examine him, Ikuto demands to be let go! Right next to him, the same thing is happening to Masaru. He wants to get back to help the old man. Satsuma calls the man Masaru is referring to, "the chief," saying that he knew what he was doing when he went in. "Chief?" Masaru asks. He is the top gun for dealing with the problem of digimon crimes. He was the leader of the past Digital World exploration team. Chief Yushima.....

Later, while Touma and Yoshino report the events, Masaru and Ikuto break the machine trying to get back to the digital world. Touma says it will take two weeks to fix it! Captain Satsuma says maybe this is a good thing so that they can't do anything rash. He wants to tell them about the Digital World Exploration Team. It was the first for humans to set foot in the Digital World.

The reason for the operation goes back to a series of events that took place ten years ago. Many people, without warning, disappeared one by one. These people did not have a reason to run away nor were they related in any way. Recurring cases of missing people with no specific target. The country's intelligence agency saw that there was more to it, and put together a special team . .. the "Digital World Exploration Team." He called it DATS' former self. Members included, from the police bureau, former detectives, Chief Yushima and me. Masaru is surprised that Satsuma use to be a detective. Also included from a civil organization Masaru's father, Professor Daimon and researcher, Kurata. Along with top hyperspace researchers, the Noguchi couple. Their investigation confirmed another World's existence. They worked out that the disappearances of the humans were a transference to the Digital World.

The team went to the Digital World and experienced many difficulties. Digimon attacked.....food was running out.....Professor Daimon disappeared..... Then he said that the Noguchi couple were the parents of Ikuto! That's when the Captain ordered Masaru and Yoshino to take the boy to his parents in the Alps.

In the digital world, Mercurimon is worried about Ikuto and Falcomon and wants them brought back. Gotsumon sneers. "Leave it to me," he says.

Back in the real world, Ikuto is amazed at the scenery while driving with Yoshino. Masaru and Ikuto argue like two peas in a pod. After a while, site-seeing becomes too much, and Ikuto gets ill. They stop at a convenience store to get something in his stomach. It's delicious! After eating, he falls asleep giving Masaru and Yoshino peace and quiet.

Meanwhile Gotsumon is having difficulty finding a digital gate to get into the human world. Something draws him to the forest.

Returning to Yoshino, she's got to drive while everyone is sleeping . Suddenly there is an emergency. Digimon have appeared nearby. It's Gotsumon with many Ookuwamon, a perfect level Insect Digimon. (It has giant cutters that can cut through anything. His special attack is scissor arms omega.) Gotsumon orders them to destroy Ikuto!

While RizeGreymon fights one of the Ookuwamon,....Gotsumon charges at Ikuto. Falcomon blocks him asking why? Gotsumon blames Ikuto for the dispute between the digital world and the human world. "He's not wanted in the digital world!" he claims. Falcomon is pushed out of the way, and Ikuto is fired at! Masaru dives for the boy, getting him out of the way. Gotsumon calls for a retreat when he sees that Lilamon and RizeGreymon have reduced the other Ookuwamon to digitama. Falcomon calls out "Wait! You're wrong! Take us back!" Gotsumon refuses saying Ikuto will bring disaster to the digital world, because he is a human. Ikuto is devastated. He falls to his knees and sobs.

A short time later, the group arrives at the Noguchi home. Will Ikuto be welcomed home after such a long time? Find out next time.
