Falcomon is an ally?! Rage! Blossomon.

In the last episode, Yoshino had become very ill. To be safe, they take her to a cave, where Touma checks her out (seems he has a doctor's license). Masaru and Agumon aren't happy to be left outside. Inside, Touma believes Yoshino may have overworked herself saying she should rest and get fluids. Strangely, when he exits the cave to find Masaru, Yoshino's body begins to glow eerily.

Touma finds Masaru and Agumon by a small river splashing around. He is upset, because they were supposed to stay put.

When Touma left, Ikuto and Falcomon enter the cave. They roughly knock Raramon to the ground. "Humans, enemy, get out of the Digital World!" Ikuto shouts at Yoshino. Touma and Masaru enter just as Falcomon tells Ikuto to punch her. Masaru is angry that the boy would try to attack a sick person and lunges for Ikuto. Just as Ikuto is ready to grad his boomerang, Yoshino grabs his hand. A strange glow occurs stunning everyone.
"What did you do to me?" Ikuto asks just before passing out in Falcomon's arms (wings).
"How dare you infect Ikuto with a virus?!" Falcomon shouts.
Before Touma can ask more about it, Falcomon flies off in a gust of wind. Touma tells Masaru that Virus....is the pathogen of the Digital World. An unknown disease. Meanwhile both Yoshino and Ikuto are getting worse. Touma knows they need to find some kind of vaccine to cure her.

Returning to Falcomon, he is very concerned for Ikuto. Seems this has happened before.
(Flashback) Several years earlier, Ikuto was stricken with the same virus. Yukidarumon went out to Wanderer's Cape to get a cure. Falcomon wanted to go to, but he was told it was a dirty place. (End of Flashback)
A short time later Falcomon brings Ikuto back to the cave. He says they need to go to Wanderer's Cape to get a vaccine, but he is afraid to go. Humans once lived there, and that's why Digimon are afraid, and don't go there. Masaru immediately wonders if it could have been his father. All of them aren't sure if Falcomon is believable. Raramon believes him...so they let him lead the way to Wanderer's Cape. But.....they are being watched.

Elsewhere, Gotsumon has told Mercurimon what is going on. He says to let them be. Gotsumon walks away wondering why. Before he exits, Blossomon shows up. The larger digimon says he'll put a stop to those humans....defying Mercurimon's orders.

Touma and the others have arrived at a huge mansion hanging from a ledge...very unusual. They enter cautiously. They venture into a room with an old computer. While Touma checks it out, Masaru, Falcomon, and Agumon leave to find the vaccine. They find one vial left in an old refrigerator. "That's it!" Falcomon exclaims...almost causing Agumon to drop it. Just as Masaru is about to take it, a large green vine grabs it. It's Blossomon (Perfect level digimon, special attack is Spiral Flower - a technique that shoots flowers like shuriken, cutting objects no matter how hard they are.)

Blossomon claims Mercurimon is angry that Falcomon betrayed us and attacks. Masaru grabs Falcomon....saving him from injury. The boy tells him they are allies now. Falcomon goes after Blossomon insisting he give back the medicine. He is able to retrieve it, but gets a hit in the process landing on Masaru. "I didn't do it for you, I did it for Ikuto," he tells a grinning Masaru. Masaru tells Falcomon to go. The bird digimon is surprised he is trusted, but Masaru says you are a man now....men don't betray their allies. Blossomon is angry and attacks with his spiral flower. It cuts through everything including the upstairs room where Touma was working. The computer is destroyed....their only lead....

Downstairs Blossomon was able to grab Masaru and Agumon before any evolution could take place. Just as Blossomon is about to grab Falcomon before he can get away...
Double Backhand!!! Gaomon and Touma appear to join the fray.

Gaomon evolves to MachGaogamon

With his mighty fist, MachGaogamon sends Blossomon crashing through the building and into the water. The perfect level digimon grabs Masaru and Agumon before they fall into the water as well. Before he can get them to safety, Blossomon emerges from the water. Masaru leaps from MachGaogamon and plants his fist on Blossomon.

Agumon evolves to RiseGreymon.
Blossomon uses his spiral flower attack, but it has no effect. One blast from RiseGreymon's trident revolver and Blossomon is blooming no more....reduced to a pretty green and purple digi-tama.

A little while later, they return to the cave. Ikuto and Falcomon were gone, but Raramon tells them that Yoshino was given the vaccine first, then Ikuto. Masaru smiles and says....he was a real man. Not far off, Ikuto is doing better as well. Falcomon says, "thanks to them", but Ikuto argues...."They are humans.....Yukidarumon's enemy...."
