When only a baby, young Ikuto was sucked into the digital world through a digital gate his parents were investigating. Although they entered the digital world to search for their son, they returned to the human world empty handed....unable to find him.

Ikuto was raised by Yukidarumon and partnered with Falcomon. Since the boy entered the digital world when he was very young, Ikuto believed he HIMSELF was a digimon. When Yukidarumon was killed, Ikuto blamed and, therefore, hated all humans.

Ten years later Ikuto is returned to the human world by Masaru and the rest of the DATS group. It takes a while, but eventually he learns to trust humans once again.
