It is apparent from his very first appearance (Episode 7: The Battle of Red River) that Prozen was up to no good. He would order his men to attack without regard for their safety. Why...you may ask? It is, because he has an unquenchable thirst for power, and NOBODY is going to get in his way.

Prozen was young Prince Rudolph's Regent, but he desired so much more. When Rudolph's grandfather, the current Emperor, passed away, Prozen arranged for the boy to be kidnapped and murdered. That plan was thwarted by Rosso and Viola, prompting Prozen to send his thugs to obtain the Imperial Ring, hopefully, doing away with Rudolph in the process. His intention was to become the next Emperor of the Guylos Empire.

Truth is...Prozen had a much more evil ambition. He was committing Imperial resources to the excavation of old ruins and built a high security science lab. He called it his Death Saurer Revival Project. With the Death Saurer, Prozen felt he could rule the entire Planet Zi. Thank goodness, Van stopped that from happening, ...and it was assumed Prozen was killed along with the destruction of the Death Saurer.

In episode 49, The Distant Stars, we learn the events that took place resulting in the death of Van's father. Seems when Prozen heard of the discovery of a black organoid, he sent in the 3rd division of the Imperial Army. To protect the Wind Colony, Van's father succumbed in battle. At that same time, Prozen found Raven and trained the boy to do his bidding. In even later episodes of Guardian Force, Prozen makes a surprising appearance as the disfigured Dark Kaiser.

Prozen is voiced by the wonderful Dave Kelly.

Without Rudolph, he could become the next Emporer.

Too bad his plans to kill Rudolph backfired.

Prozen trained Raven to do his bidding.

With the Imperial ring, he could rule the Guylos Empire.

He thought he was invincible...

Van put a stop to that....

Thought to have died when the Death Saurer was destroyed...

He came back as the Dark Kaiser in Guardian Force.
