Assault of the Mega Monster

The Episode begins with Moonbay being her usual 'transporter song' singing self, riding in her Gustav on a rainy night. After getting to the middle of the song, the shadow of a zoid comes out. It falls in front of the Gustav. It's a Black and Green Dibison.

The episode cuts to a Republican training base. It seems Van is taking a simulation test. He evades Anti-Zoid Missiles, annihilates Command Wolves, grounds Pteras', and finally completes the simulation. He's about to go to the next level when Irvine appears in his Command Wolf. He challenges Van to a friendly battle. They battle and the observers watch amazed at the two.

Later the two are on the beach splashing their faces and talking. It seems Irvine got a heap of prize money from some tournaments. Then he told Van Raven was back in town. Just then Dr. D parachutes out of the sky upsetting Irvine's grand entrance. Dr. D wants to strengthen the shield on the Blade Liger in order to help Van defeat Raven. Dr. D disgustingly spits out his sugar coffee and demands some with salt. EW!

Now it switches to Moonbay, whose heading for the same base as Van and everybody are in, dragging the Dibison to the base.

Then Dr. D explains how the shield works and tells Van how they're going to do it and use it. They find out that Moonbay is back with Thomas' Dibison. She sees that Dr. D is having an 'inspection' of the Gustav. When Fiona calls for her it's that usually 'nice-to-see-ya-where-have-you-been?' scene.

Thomas is in the hospital. Van stands by his side. Moonbay is talking to Fiona and Irvine about her new job that she says pays very well. Dr. D examines the frame of the Dibison and says it was hit by charged-particles. Van gets very angry knowing Raven, Shadow, and his Geno Saurer did this. He reminds Dr. D of the shield strengthening plan. He wants the operation to commence. Dr. D guaranteed he would be finished by dawn. They started it.

The scene switches to the forest at night. Raven is piloting his resurrected Geno Saurer. He stops by a beach. He looks at his cut hand. He gets all angry and yells Van's name in rage. He puts down his footlocks and tail stabilizers and charges up a charge-particle gun. In his rage he fires it across the lake.

Moonbay is about to ditch her friends to get back to her job. Irvine spots her ways and tells her she should say goodbye herself to Fiona, who's in the hangar helping Dr. D with the shield of the Blade Liger. Dr. D leaves to get something. Fiona starts to pull on the screw in the Blade Liger's side. Moonbay sees that she's weak physically and comes to help her unscrew the bolt. Fiona tells her that she's doing it for Van, who she thinks she isn't contributing anything to. Moonbay helps her through the night with the shield.

Its morning and Lieutenant O'Connell spots the Geno Saurer on the scanner. The soldiers wall up the fences. The Pteras pilots report to the hangars for immediate deployment. Van and Irvine are running across the sand dunes in their zoids a charged particle gun shots down all the Pteras'. They spot the Geno Saurer ahead, which roars with fury. Everyone desperately watches the three zooids on the battle field. Raven says, "You can't really be surprised to see me. I'll go on, until I can destroy you once and for all."

The Blade Liger and Irvine mobilize and split and surround the Geno Saurer. This is the battle. Irvine quickly uses his gun to shoot the Geno Saurer. The Geno Saurer returns fire with his nose gun. The Blade Liger bites the Geno Saurer's back. The Geno Saurer knocks him off. The Command Wolf bites the Geno Saurer's neck. The Geno Saurer knocks him off and roars at him. The Blade Liger pounces on the Geno Saurer's back. The Geno Saurer knocks him off with his tail. The Command Wolf shoots the Geno Saurer three times in the right side. Back in the control room, Fiona and Moonbay cheer Van and Irvine on. Dr. D says that the Geno Saurer's zoid core is showing some unusual signs. Dr. D says that he recalls something like this and tries to remember it.

The Geno Saurer roars with anger. Shadow sees that the zoid core is flashing. Something's happening! The Blade Liger shoots the Geno Saurer with its stomach cannons twice. The Geno Saurer returns fire with his nose gun. The Command Wolf bites the Geno Saurer on the neck but is quickly knocked off. Raven says that Irvine is getting on his nerves and uses his grappling launch arm against the Command Wolf. He drags it across the ground towards him. Van sees this and tries to rescue Irvine by shooting the Geno Saurer with his blades twice but this does nothing. The Geno Saurer stomps on the Command Wolf's Zoid core and the Command Wolf is forever finished. The Geno Saurer flies at the Blade Liger. The Blade Liger moves out of the way. This is where the shield comes in handy. The Geno Saurer deploys everything and Charges up his charged particle gun. Van deploys his blades and activates the strengthened shield. Raven fires at Van. Van cuts right though the Charged particle beam and ends up cutting off the Geno Saurer's right arm. Everyone cheers on Van, and Raven figures out that the shield is more powerful. Just when it seems like the end for Raven, he charges up another blast. Van charges at Raven with his shield and blades deployed without hesitating. Raven fires but this time uses a more cunning and shrewd approach. He uses his other guns at the same time as the particle beam. This breaks through the shield. Van tries to escape but the Geno Saurer fires its small guns at him and then the charged particle gun with the guns at the same time. This completely destroys the shield. The Blade Liger falls like a weak cat.

The others see that it's the end for the Blade Liger unless something's done. Moonbay runs out of the control room. The Geno Saurer charges up a particle beam and its almost "game over" for Van when, HOLY COW! A gustav appears in front of the Geno Saurer! It' Moonbay! She wants to sacrifice the Gustav to save Van! Without hesitating Raven opens fire on the Gustav with the Charged particle Gun, making a huge but not thorough dent in the Gustav. Raven passes it to finish off the Blade Liger. HOLY POTHOLE! The controls on the Geno Saurer aren't working? Could it be a system freeze? The Geno Saurer wasn't hurt badly though. It's shadow! Shadow takes complete control of the Geno Saurer and makes it fly off to a canyon. It seems Van was saved.

The pilots look at their damaged zoids in despair. Raven was pissed that Shadow didn't let Raven destroy Van. In the canyon, just as he was about to beat the crap out of shadow, Shadow brings Raven out of the Geno Saurer and fuses again with the one-armless Geno Saurer. Suddenly, a huge red, diamond chrysalis goes over the Geno Saurer. What is this? This must have something to do with the zoid core. Raven seems to understand what's going on, and says, "I see." He then laughs with an evil expression.
