Episode 48: A Never-Ending Future

Highlights:
The threat of the Grim Comet is over. Kirinmaru has joined his beloved daughter, Rion, and his sister, Lady Zero, in the afterlife. The demon slayers and others are helping to clean up the mess left behind in the Village.
Kagome hears of Moroha's debt. InuYasha helps Moroha destroy a youkai to obtain the ice sword of Un'ei. She takes it to the corpse dealer, who says that this will pay off her debt in full. While she is there, a mysterious client arrives asking for help in defeating demons.
Elsewhere, Rin is giving Towa and Setsuna each a beautiful kimono. It was a tailored piece of cloth delivered by Sesshomaru. He says that "It is a reward."
At Takechiyo's homeland, Shippo is teaching. First up... the fundamentals of transformation. Afterwards, Sango and Miroku watch as their daughters torment the cute little fox demon.
Later one evening, Towa and Setsuna (dressed in their new kimono's) are talking on the beach when Moroha arrives looking very pretty as well. She tells them of a client that wants to hire them. When they get to the corpse dealer, it is obvious to Towa who the client is even if he is disguised. Riku is alive! (Something about the horn in her pocket when Rion returned her body was left with Rion's and Kirinmaru's Kon and Haku.)
Because the demon slaying is a distance away by boat, the girls get permission from their parents.
Setsuna trains with Hisui before informing him that she will be gone for a while. When she leaves, he vows to get stronger. Maybe then he can tell her how he feels.
Several days later at Iyo Province in the West, the girls join Riku and Takechiyo. Together they slay demons and begin a new adventure.
End!
