Episode 20: The Hidden Village for Half Demons

NOTE: We knew what happened to Towa after the forest fire, and this episode reveals what had happened to Setsuna.
Jaken finds Setsuna sitting alone in the devastation left by the forest fire. He drops her off at the barrier of the Village for Half Demons in the capable hands of Miss Shiori. Miss Shiori is a half-demon from the Demon Bat Tribe with the power to create barriers.
Setsuna would train with items and notes that were left for her from time to time. When persistent demons would try to enter the barrier, the half-demon children would work together to take them down. Miss Shiori would sadden when a demon was killed even if it was enemies.
After living in the village for six years, Setsuna left to live with Lady Kaede, but she returned to the hidden village not long after. Unfortunately, being half demon, Miss Shiori would lose her powers from time to time. The evil moth demon, Gaga Gozen, planned for that day. The day of the solar eclipse.
When the barrier disappears, Setsuna and the other children fight Lord Gaga and his demon comrades. Miroku and Hachemon had been nearby and tried to help as well, but Gaga was much too powerful. Setsuna goes full on demon when Lord Gaga is about to eat Miss Shiori. She slashes Lord Gaga to pieces, but afterwards is unable to stop her demon rage. Thankfully, Miroku has something that puts her to sleep. He applies the seal that suppresses her demon blood. He then entrusts her with the weapon used by Lord Gaga, the Kanemitsu no Tomoe, which acts as a medium.
Not long after the incident, Setsuna left the village and joined the demon slayers. Three years later, Setsuna arrives by the village once again. This time with Towa. She proceeds to protect the village from two approaching demons. However, the demons are not killed. Setsuna simply does some damage and scares them off. Seems that Setsuna has been protecting the village whenever she has a chance, and Miss Shiori is thankful for that.
