Many have wondered just how Kimishima died...read on-->After escaping captive and dropping off Kanami, he went to find Kazuma. On his way, he was fired upon by pursuing members of HOLY. The image above shows that at least one of their bullets hit their target. Kimishima IS able to get away and eventually help Kazuma defeat the Dars, but a body can only stand so much. It is assumed that the bullet and most probably loss of blood led to his death.
