 Curriculum 14 -  Trials: The Training for Goddess.

                      My first days at Goa, I have a sense of why this is called Hell hole  back at my colony! But I must strive to endure it.  If there is no other one who will stand up to the alien creature known as victim, than what will  Zion do? "Number 90! Are you feeling sick?" " No, sorry , I was just deep in thought!" "Well than get your lousy butt up and start running before the others lap you!" "What?...... OH NO!!!!  I Forgot!!!!!!!!" Rei stood up and began running towards the others. "Boy what a loud mouth!" 

 My name is Rei Clou, I am 15 years old. Height is age 156cm. Weight 95 lbs.  I have black hair which is styled with two large strands of hair parted on the side. I have two scars on both cheeks. On in a cross shape and another in a line. I have come to GOA to become a full fledged pilot as well as other reasons.

"Wow man that was fast!"said Kluze! "Well I wasn't expecting you guys to take off so soon!"replied Rei! " This isn't happening for real is it? "said Yamagata. "What's wrong with him?" asked Rei. "Well I don't think he is entirely awake yet. We'll  have to throw some water on him or something!" said Kluze. "Hey, No talking just running!" said Instructor."

                     "Wow check out all the girls here!" exclaimed Rei. "Oh no here we go! Can't you think of anything else besides girls. " said Kluze. "Well yah but, heh heh ,  sorry. They just have so many cute girls here! " "Ah forget em! We came here to train. Not to get love sick!!" "Testing starts in fifteen minutes so let's go!" said Rei.

                       "They haven't been fully tested yet but I am sure that the new orbital frames for the Goddesses will work just fine Dr Crowe. " " Excellant! Now I have to put you in charge of  overseeing the installation of the new armor!" "Sir are you sure?!! They haven't been fully tested!" "I am aware of that but we can not afford to lose the last star! The Victim have evolved to a new level! If nothing is done than Zion doesn't stand a chance! "said Dr. Crowe. "But Crowe!........."  "Enough! That is my decision. If you have any objectives than don't bother. I have made my final decision!" "Yes sir!" The worker walked out when soon ," Father , is this neccesary?" "It is for your protection. We can't afford to lose you Teela. " "What if I can't make it?" "Than I'm afraid.................... I am afraid all hope is lost!"

                  "Oh dammit! Zero can't you be more careful with the Pro-Ing. "said Kizuna to herself.  "That jerk 'l get him self killed one of these days." "What was that Kizuna?" asked Zero. "Oh nothing." Kizuna swore under her breath and began to work again. " Do you want help? " "Well, I have to change the armor plating and rewire the left arm,but nothing  a few spare HOURS will do!" said Kizuna. "Wow it's a mess, oooohhhh , what's this?" "No don't touch.... that! Oh now I have to start over!" "Sorry but I was just a little to curious for my own good! You want help! " " No! You'd just get in the way!" Kizuna folded her arms and  turned around. " Your cute when you're mad."said Zero. " "I know, I'll see you at lunch. "

 "Yoh Zero!" said Yamagi. "Let's get going! The lunch lines are getting long." "See yah I'll save you a plate. " "Ok bye Zero!" Zero: Girls I can't quite understand them. But I've learned to get along with Kizuna.............to a certain extent! "So Yamagi, are they serving deep fat fryed crap for dinner today?" "Probably! Sorry I didn't have time to check the menus. So you heard the news about the new candidates?" " Well of course it is only because the rumors are spreading like wildfires." "I suppose so Zero, but if it is as true as they say, that their EX is in a higher standard than most of ours...." "Ah, don't kid about such things. We've got nothin' to worry about." said Zero. " Tell that to me when they succeed us in ranks."

               "This time Tredmills!?? You've got to be kidding!" said Rei. "What was that 90?" said Instructor. "I'm sorry Instructor but these oversized running machines don't make these tests any more interesting than they already are."said Rei. "They aren't supposed to and I'll take that as an insult! Two clicks up on speed!!" "Instructor? Do you like toturing kids like us?" asked Yamagata? "Nothing personal, it's just my job! And for that another three clicks. " "Yes *pant* sir!"  " Let that be a lesson too you all. Remember that this is a walk through to grandma's house compared to the live tests!" replied instructor. "More like a walk through the forest to grandma's house!" said Rei. "Than that would make instuctor the big bad wolf, HAHAHahaehehe ok!" said Yamagata! "Hmm I think that we've got a joker in the bunch! Well do you find this funny!!" said Instructor turning on five more clicks!"

              "I was hoping for a more suitable piece of crap to eat!"said Zero. "Ah don't mind it . The chefs just do that to make you scared of them!" said Yamagi. "I think it's working." "Darn it those stupid jerks think were some sorta test rats for new more compact food!" said Joel. "AH what do you care you'll eat almost any thing!" "Hey guys what's up!"said Kizuna. "Hey when did you get here, I thought that you had to fix the Pro- Ing. " said Zero. "Yah and I found out that there isn't going to be any more plating coming in till later today so I decided to come along and eat." "Ah your just lazy." said Yamagi. "What did you say!??" said Kizuna grabbing on to yamagi's shirt collar. "Eh he, Yamagi Kizuna is really sensitive to talk like that. And besides some times the truth can hurt!" "Hey that's not very nice. " said Kizuna. "Please, can't you let Yamagi go. Don't mind his ignorance he didn't know!" said Zero patting Kizuna on the head. Kizuna folded her arms, dropped Yamagi and replied," Ok." "That's my good girl." said Zero. "Are you ok Yamagi?"  Yamagi drew a large sigh and said, "I hate being short."

             " Alright is every one comfortable?" said Dr. Crawford. "Scan check start. Status 50% and almost ready to engage!" Rei: GOA, known for it's goddess technology is also well known for it's medical bio engineering. The system in training and the medical examinations are highly thought to be the most advanced tech in the universe.  Cuavel is it's name and scanning is it's game. The cold blue liquid is thought to have small particles or nano technology, and is the first of it's kind. "Scan complete! Ready to describe any atomic build up!" "Bring number 94 up two levels." "91 atomic found on the shoulder." "Uh doctor! Take a look!!" "Number 90 has no atomic!? But this cannot be! Check again and if it is, than check for similar cases!" "Found! Doctor . They are recent cases with the last hoard of candidates. Number 88 and 87 were found with no atomic either. Just like Teela." "Is this a sign of something going to happen." said Dr. Crawford. "Wait don't close that yet! Take a look at the mind pulse. Number 90's mind pulse is inbetween the those of 88 and 87!  It looks much similar to 88's. " "Doctor, it is like a bond between all four!" "But what does this mean?"

               "What's going on Zero! Scramble alert!?" asked Kizuna. "Yah it is. An unknown victim has been spotted in SP// 1313 sector, and that is near a colony!" "Dammit ta hell! Why are they doing this?" said Yamagi!" "It's  for a good reason but what is that reason for. "

         "Darn it's to tough!" yelled Galloo. "Number 1, the shields aren't doing anything! I'm shutting them off before I over heat." said Riu Route. "If they keep coming then they'll breach the barrier. Yu take on the small hoard and cover me. The small hoard is sheilding the the Victim Boss. If we can destroy them, then it should weaken." "Dispatching camera's. Setting 533/4." said Artes. " Artes keep a close eye on that hoard to the left. If they come any closer, fire your vulcan guns. God only knows if this'll work!".  Galloo flew towards the Victim leader. It's eyes glared right at his. Soon he got past the hoard and began to clear a path for Teela. Galloo: I can't die yet! I'll have to endure this battle for Ernest's sake. I can still remember that day. Seeing Ernest in the jaws of victim, I can't let the same thing happen to his brother. "That's why I will.... DESTROY YOU!!!"  Thrusting his arms he began to rain fire of heavy bullets on the Victim. "Watch your fire Galloo. There is a chance that your bullets might hit the colony. " yelled Riu. "Let's hope those Pro-Ing get here soon. The hoard is getting larger."

            " Hey why is everybody scurrying about?" asked Rei. "It's a scramble alert! Didn't you read your manual! If Victim is to hard for the Goddesses to beat then GOA sends their Pro-Ings to support them." said Kluze. "All Pro-Ing please set quardinates to SP // 1313 Colony. New Victim classified as Victim Type BB spotted." "Oh no." "What is it Rei. "My god!! That's my colony!!"

               "Keep them off my back dammit!!" exclaimed Zero. The Pro-Ing made it to the Victim hoard and began their attack run. Zero, who was now the top of his class, lead a small group of Pro-Ing in an escort mission. "Get those civillian ships outta here." yelled instructor. " Were going as fast as we can. Keep those Victim distracted and we should be able to get these transport ships outta here! You do your job and leave this up to us!!!" said Zero. "Well what if it's my job to yell at you." "Now who's the loud mouth Instructor!?"

"Zero, pay attention! The Victim hoard is scattering. Get ready to engage!" yelled Kizuna. "Why are the Ingrid's signaling that way?? O Crap!! Guys hurry up!!"

                       *********************************************

               Firing like heck, Galloo found himself in a one on one battle with the Victim leader. They shot from side to back to front trying to dodge each others firing. Soon Galloo's bullets found their mark on the Victim's underbelly. It screamed in pain as blood misted from it's wound. "Gotcha!! Now eat this." Galloo fired his missles. Knocking it stunned for the moment. "Number one get ready to deliver the last blow." "Pilots take formation 7A." " Yu take out those several Victim over there." "Lets get in formation."

                    *****************************************************

               "Hurry up with those ships!"said Azuma. "Were going as fast as we can." said Zero. "It's hard to work this way and besides those ships are at their maximum speed so we can't go any faster." "Zero just concentrate on the ships."said Kizuna.

                   ******************************************************

               " Those damn Victim, if they keep forming like this than they might overcome the Pro-Ing. "said Galloo. " "Sheild deploy, we'll trap it in a big net and then kill it." Riu shot the sheild and began his attack. The Victim charged Teela. But was stop by the shields of Agi Ki Meya. " Ok I am starting my attack run. Eeva Reena cover me." The end of her sword glowed as the EX signs became known. "Die Victim!!" The slashed of her sword scared the victim and tore of the top layer of skin. "Eeva Reena now!!!"  But in a last ditch effort the Victim began to glow a bright red."What the hell is this......... OH Dammit! Number one I suggest an immediate evactuation of the Pro Ing be issued. That thing gonna explode!" "Right. All pilots re......"

                "Were almost there!"said Zero in anticipation. "What... an immediate evactutation but why. " Soon the impact blast of the Victim hit the surrounding ships and the force blew them back. Dazed, Zero fled with the transport ship to the rondevue point. " What the hell was that," said Zero. "That wasn't an EX charger!" said Kizuna. " I am going to go take a look!" Zero turned his Pro-Ing around and boosted towards the battle field. There he saw the Goddesses returning. But when he turned to see the colony," Oh my god! It.. it.. it is totally gone.And .....Artes! Artes are you there!!Common buddy!" "He's alright," said Galloo. " Were taking him back to the infirmary, he's just unconscious." "Ok I guesse but..." "I think you'd better get going, or Instructor 'l get on your case!" "Right." Zero returned and was now seeing the horrors of the war. "Kizuna the entire colony is gone!"

              *******************************************************************************

               "Rei I just.........heard, I guesse you did too and I am sorr...." "It's gone, the entire colony was decimated. The only survivors ranged in about fifty. " "Rei I.." " Don't say anything Kluze, it can't be helped now. Victim has won this battle, but soon, I have to become a pilot, to carry on the legacy of my colony, I will defeat Victim, Do you here me!! I WILL KILL YOU VICTIM!!!!!!"

                The wind blew softly. Riu Route began to cry. Galloo walked silently into the Relaxation room in GIS. "Riu are you alright!?" Wiping his eyes Riu stood up and turned around. He held his fist and then ... punched Galloo. "What the hell was that for." Riu began to cry again. "Are you BLIND!! You bastard! Didn't you see we lost and all those people, I couldn't do a thing!!" "Riu," Galloo said wiping his lip. "No you couldn't, I couldn't either, It.....it is just as much my fault as it is yours, If I hadn't hesitated in that moment and had taken that shot, none of this would have happend.And I am very sorr..." "Sorry? SORRY?? Sorry isn't going to bring back all those people Galloo.Their dead. Just like Ernest, you hesitatated." "Shut Up!!!! I couldn't do anything to save him. Don't you think I tried. But I couldn't. Ernest wouldn't have wanted it this way. Hell I miss that guy. I am seeing what you mean. I know Riu, now I know." For that instant Galloo began to shed a tear as well," Ernest I am sorry."
