A New Weapon

I’m dedicating this story to Julie for introducing me to Pilot Candidate and LunaGirl for encouraging me to continue. I did not make up any of these characters except the ones with profiles at the top of the page.

Author’s Note: I have never seen Pilot Candidate but it sounds really interesting and I really do want to see it. The only problem is I don’t have that channel.

Goddess Colours: Metallic Magenta, Metallic Light Blue (Sora-Novus), Dark Metallic Blue, Metallic Pink (Ernn-Sakura)

Goddess Specialty/Attacks: Long Range Gun, Dark Saber, Sword Wings (her wings become swords), Backpack Accelerator, Controls Spirit of Metal and Spirit of Wind e.g. Iron Fists, Phantom Gale (Sora-Novus) Close Range Gun, Petal Darts, Blossom Bomb, Controls Spirit of Earth and the Spirit of water e.g. Earth Falchion, Sea Falcon (Ernn-Sakura) Noryoku (ability) Ha (blade) (both)

EX Ability: Telekinesis/Psychokinetic (can move things with mind) can use her power as a weapon (can take the form of weaponry or vicious animal), or as a shield.

She walked through the doors of the GOA testing room at 4:20AM. She came out at 4:30PM. The test results were positive and they had tested her 32 times! She was 98% in control of her powers, or at least that’s what the computer said. The next day she would pack her things and apply as a GOA pilot candidate! But how would the rest of the candidates respond?

Skai walked through the GOA training room and got inside the simulation. She had no repairer.

“HEY! You’re not supposed to be in there!” yelled Force Wartllium angrily for he was supposed to be next.

“Class!” Azuma tried to announce. “Please welcome our newest candidate #95, Skai D’Elando.” He yelled over the sea of heads.

Everyone watched as this new candidate shot at 12 Victim that were 100 miles away. She then charged with her sword at the remaining Victim. She slowly got out and walked out of the training room. She would only attend what she had to.

While she walked away everybody stared flabbergasted as her score came up. She was 50 points ahead of the top score. Aracd, who had the highest score, ran after her to find out how she did all that without a repairer. But when he looked down both sides of the hallway, she was gone.

Skai ran down the hallway to grab her stuff. She was supposed to move it an hour ago but she had gotten lost and wandered into the training room instead. She found her stuff right where she left it. Near her newly made Ingrid, the SORA-NOVUS. When she got there she saw 3 boys looking over her goddess. Two looked older than her, the other around the same age. She wondered what they were doing here.

“Excuse me, who are you and what do you want with my Ingrid?” Skai asked quietly, but not quiet enough.

The boys spun around startled. The middle looking one of the 3 said formally. “I’m Yuu and these are my friends Gareas and Erts. We’re goddess pilots. Who are you?”

“I’m Skaila D’Elando, Candidate #95. You may call me Skai. This is my friend the Sora-Novus. Would you like to see my EX results?” Skai’s voice was quiet and her face, emotionless.

The girl searched through one of her bags, he watched her. Her long purple hair fell into her face but she brushed it away. She found a package of papers and handed them to Yuu. Gare watched her eyes, and then she looked straight at him. Her eyes were such a vibrant green. They looked almost like his but hers seemed to be searching for something. He couldn’t see what she was feeling because she somehow kept her face emotionless. But her eyes were a whole different story, they looked like they were searching and hiding. He looked at her test results just to escape her stare. Her EX controllability was 98%! Her EX was incredible!

“Don’t have one.” Replied Skai. “My goddess is powered directly from my EX strength. Why is that a bad thing?”

“Ok.” Said Skai. “Could you show me where this room is I’m still kind of finding my way around.”
