We knew it was coming....right? Now it's official....According to a post on the adultswim.com message board one of Viz's latest acquisitions, Death Note, will commence airing at midnight (Eastern time zone) on October 20th. Looks like Bleach will be on hiatus for a little while.....possibly as more episodes are dubbed.

A new poll has been added in light of the announcement above. I hope everyone can take just a brief moment and let me know what you'd like to see most in the "Death Note" section that is coming.

Gundam 00 is the latest in the long running Gundam series. It is slated to debut October 6th in Japan. (Official Site) According to Anime News Service Gundam 00's first season will air 26 episodes, take a break, and then add additional episodes. The project itself will last 3 years...wrapping up in 2009, which happens to mark the 30 year anniversary of the Gundam franchise.

Those waiting patiently for the new Digimon series to air have only 3 weeks to wait. The first episode, titled "There Are Monsters Among Us" airs October 1st on Toon Disney. (Credit: With The Will News.) Unfortunately, I no longer get that channel.....**Cries agonizing tears of grief**. I sooooo wanted to hear Crispin Freeman as Thomas (Touma). Hopefully, the DVD's will be released....my money's already set aside for those.

Finally is right! The Midori Days section is in place after weeks of promising. Of course, there is much more to be added, but the hardest part is done. You'll also notice a link to the series, Death Note. That is the next section I plan on adding. Don't bother to click on it now....nothing is there.

In the news, The Anime Network is holding a "Blue Dragon" fan art contest. Submit your original work, and you can win a copy of the videogame. Best of luck to all who enter!
