Please pardon me if I rant for a while. Media changes so quickly.... video releases have gone from VHS to DVD to HD DVD and now Blu Ray. And why..... so one can get a clear enough picture so that you can see the zits on an actors face? But there are no pimples on an anime character!!!

Due to these changes, some companies are releasing their anime with fewer episodes, no dub and twice the price. I'll tell you honestly....I just cringe when I hear that Bandai Visual has licensed a series. That means there is no way I can afford to buy it....nor do I want to if there is no dub. With Geneon gone and ADV having issues, the state of the anime industry is a bit scary right now. Not only that, but think about all those poor people who can't afford new digital TV sets. It won't be long (1 year) before it's bye bye analog... OK, I'm done....feel free to disagree.

Note: Don't forget to tune in to Bakugan tomorrow....., February 24th at 9:00pm.

Along the lines of Pokemon, Digimon, and YuGiOh...a new series is set to air on Cartoon Network entitled Bakugan Battle Brawlers. Here's a brief synopsis; when cards begin to fall from the sky, they are picked up by kids from all over the World. Dan, along with his friend Shun, develop and cool new game using the cards and the small orbs that come with them. Unbeknownst to them, these cards are from an alternate Universe called Vestoria, and the innocent game they are playing is about to become very very dangerous!!

Bakugan is set to air on Sunday, February 24th at 9:00pm. This series is not new to the airwaves, in fact, about 26 episodes have already aired in Canada. So be sure to check it out on the 24th. I think you may like what you see.

First of all, my apologies for not updating sooner. I've got a huge exam coming up that is taking up most of my free time. It takes place in about 10 days and there is so much material to cover that it's ridiculous....argh!!!

O.K. ... on to the good stuff. For those of you who are unable to get Digimon Savers on Toon Disney or anyone who'd just like to see an episode or two, the site, Disney.com (Jetix), is streaming episodes. If you don't see the Digimon Savers show on the current list, just position your mouse on "click for more clips." You will be given a selection to choose from. Select Digimon and go from there. You'll notice that Oban Star Racers, as well as other shows, can be selected. Have fun watching!!
