First of all, I hope everyone is enjoying this Holiday Season. Mine has been great and very busy as you can tell by the lack of updates. Sorry 'bout that.

Now for some announcements that really excited me. The Official Gundam Unicorn Site announced the English language cast for the upcoming anime. I was very happy to see so many great voice actors playing key roles in this series...especially Steve Cannon (a.k.a. Steve Staley) as the main character. I've purchased just about everything he has worked on, and you can bet I'm putting my money aside for this release as well!

Also, Anime News Network announced last week that not only will there be a fourth movie for both Bleach and Naruto Shippuuden, but a 1st movie for Metal Fight Beyblade. The Beyblade movie will be released sometime in the Summer of 2010.

According to Anime News Network, the producer of Code Geass, Yoshitaka Kawaguchi, revealed that their new project involving Code Geass will feature the simultaneous releases of comics, music, new products under development, and visual works. Hmmmm...am I correct to assume that visual works may be a new series or movie. Let's hope so.

On a side note, I was listening to ANNCast's interview with Chad Kime, a former Geneon employee. I was really surprised to learn how Heat Guy J did with respect to units sold. Way under the expected. The reason I'm surprised is Heat Guy J is one of my all-time favorites. It's got a great action packed storyline and a very likable cast of characters. Not to mention the main character, Daisuke Aurora, is voiced by one of my favorite voice actors, Steve Staley (voice of Bleach's Toushirou Hitsugaya). You can grab the whole series at Right Stuf for only $19. That's a steal and much less than I paid, but that's OK....it was worth every penny! (And NO...I don't get paid for the plug!)

For those of you who may have missed it the first time around or those who'd just love to see it again, Bleach Movie 1 entitled "Memories of Nobody" is scheduled to air this Saturday, November 28th at 12:00 midnight. And the following week, December 5th, don't miss the premiere of Bleach Movie 2, "The Diamond Dust Rebellion," also starting at midnight. Both air on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block.

In other news, Funimation has announced at The Anime USA Convention the licensing of two new anime and one rescue. They picked up Full Metal Panic (1st series), Sekirei, and both seasons of Birdy the Mightly Decode. The latter two don't excite me very much, but some of you may be happy to hear of the acquisitions. Obviously, both series were not listed on the current survey. Full Metal Panic is a great series, but I already own all of the DVD's... Oh well... (Credit Toonzone.net.)

It's official! Christmas is coming, and retailers and suppliers alike want to see their product fly off the shelves. How do you promote the toys? By giving their related show more exposure....that's how! Which is a good thing for Bakugan fans, who can now watch their favorite new episodes of New Vestroia at 7:00pm (Eastern time) on Saturday nights on Cartoon Network. This is the first time an anime was aired on Saturday nights (aside from Adult Swim) since Naruto was removed months ago. I'd love to see more anime. Sure beats the hell out of that "Destroy, Build, Destroy" junk that's airing.
