As 2007 comes to a close, I'm especially happy to wish visitors of AnimeAdmirers.com a very
"HAPPY NEW YEAR."

Many things have happened this year including a wonderful new job. In spite of everything, I've still managed to keep this site alive going on 7 years now. The updates haven't been as often, but I hope to rectify that in 2008.

Plans for 2008.....hmmmm let's see.... I'll continue to update existing sections (that will never change). With Code Geass coming to Adult Swim, it's only fitting to add a section on that excellent series. Then there's much clean-up to be done. Short unfinished fics will be removed if I haven't heard from the author in over a year. (A years enough time...don't you think?)

For those interested in what's about to begin in Japan, I highly recommend Random Curiosity. Omni has done a great job of summarizing the new Winter line-up. You've just got to check it out. Tis the season once again. My how time flies. Let's all remember the reason for the season....Peace on Earth and Good will towards man. Can you imagine how great things would be if we all practiced those sentiments? Let's all try our best.

According to Anime News Network, Cartoon Network's Adult Swim is hosting a marathon featuring the classic anime series, Astro Boy. It starts at midnight on Christmas day. If you're watching and suddenly hear reindeer on the roof, run to bed before Santa sees you!!!

Whew....I was finally able to do an update in between Christmas shopping. Is everyone ready for Christmas? Not me...yet.

According to Anime News Network the comedic sports anime, Eyeshield, will begin airing on Toonami Jetstream on December 17th. If I recall, months ago there was an announcement that Zoids Genesis would air on Toonami Jetstream as well, but that has not happened. Hmmmm, wonders whazup? In any event, check it out on Monday....I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

In other announcements, Code Geass is slated to air on CN's Adult Swim sometime in the Spring. Also, if your lucky enough to get the IFC Channel, keep a look out for the broadcast of Witchblade, Speed Grapher, and Hell Girl. All of these excellent titles are scheduled to commence airing sometime next year.
