The One and Only One; the story behind the crossed swords

{Prologue}

 

 

“You better rush me in as fast as you can, Yanto Yoritmoto!” the woman on the bed yelled at the man pushing her to the hospital room.

“Don’t worry, Chika,” Yanto smiled sweetly looking at his wife.

Chika Yoritmoto sighed and plopped her head on the pillow. A boy about ten years old with silver hair trailed behind the quarreling couple. The Medical Nins took the bed and trailed it into the hospital room. Yanto got down and started to catch your breath.

“Father, was mother like that when she had me?” the silver haired boy asked coming up to Yanto.

Yanto laughed and patted the silver haired boy’s head. “You don’t want to know, Silver-san,”

Silver looked away from his father as the doors where his mother had went through had been locked. A red sign saying “In Use” glowed as screams were heard from the room.

Yanto got up and took Silver by the hand. Silver just looked away from his father.

“Silver, don’t worry, nothing is going to change,” he said softly. Silver closed his eyes then opened them and still looked away from his father. An old lady with gray hair, a long peach dress and a cane came walking by Yanto and Silver.

“Don’t worry about him, Yanto-san; he’ll always be like that,” the old lady said to Yanto.

“Mother, please, don’t be so choosy like you were with Idukumaru’s death,” Yanto stated.

“What ever you say, Yanto-san, but may I remind you that you are the Head of the Yoritmoto Clan, the third in all of Kohona,”

Grandmother Yoritmoto left into the waiting room as Yanto squatted down to Silver. “Silver, don’t listen to your Grandmother Yoritmoto, she strongly believes in fate and future, don’t let her spoil your marvelous ninja skills.”

Silver nodded as one of the doctors walked out of the room. Yanto got up from where he was and turned to the doctor.

“Lord Yanto Yoritmoto,” the doctor said. “We congratulate you on twins, both girls!”

“That’s great, how about Chika?” Lord Yanto said happily. The doctor showed him the way to the room and Silver was invited to go. Lord Yanto forgot about his own mother, so he sent Silver to get her.

“Grandmother Yoritmoto, father wants you to see the babies,” Silver said opening the doors to the waiting room.

“I’m not playing in to your little game here, Silver; I will come when your father comes.” Grandmother Yoritmoto stated. Silver sighed and rolled his eyes then went to his father.

“Uh, Silver-san, I told you to send Grandmother Yoritmoto.” Lord Yanto said. Silver nodded. “Father, she wants you to help her, though.”

Lord Yanto asked to leave and then Silver went up to his mother.

“Where is the baby?” Silver asked.

“You mean your two new sisters?” Chika asked.

“Two?! Mother, you had...twins?” Silver exclaimed.

Chika laughed. “Yes, Chiisude and Jinnifuru,”

When Chika had opened her mouth saying the names of the two baby sisters that Silver now had to watch over, his whole world just collapsed. He didn’t say anything else and walked to the chair. This was the beginning of a terrible destiny for the two girls. Yanto soon returned and turned to Silver who was not feeling well.

 “Silver-san, are you ok?” Lord Yanto Yoritmoto asked.

“I want to talk to you, father, in private please.” Silver asked.

“Um...of course, c'mon Silver-san.”

Lord Yanto Yoritmoto and Silver went to another empty room as Lord Yanto squatted down to his son.

“I don't want to become the heir when I grow up.” Silver said.

“Don't worry, Silver-san, it will be easy!” Lord Yanto said smiling.

“What if the clan doesn't pass the Hyuuga or the Uchiha clans?” Silver said. “Then it would be my fault.”

“No Silver, don't think that way. They are our forefathers of our land, remember.”

Yanto left and Silver sat on the hospital bed. “They are our forefathers. But I think...that little brat of a sister might surpass me!” Silver exclaimed as he stomped out of the room. He wanted to kill one.

 

5 years later:

 

Chiisude Melliya Yoritmoto and Jinnifuru Melliya Yoritmoto were both five and Silver was already 15 and a Chuunin. Silver didn’t really care much for his sisters anymore, and to make it worse, he was jealous of Chiisude.

“Chiisude-Chan, Jinnifuru-Chan, listen please. You two have 6 apples each, what does that equal?” Lord Yanto Yoritmoto asked when they were in the back yard of the compound. Chiisude raised her hand. “12, 6 each,”

“Very good, Chiisude, now your mission is to gather the apples by jumping from tree limb to tree limb. When all 12 are gone, who ever gets the most, will not have to do the push ups that I will need required.”

Jinnifuru looked down, she knew she was the slowest of the clan, but she had confidence. Lord Yanto Yoritmoto already called the two to start. Chiisude grabbed 11 of the apples and returned a second that Jinnifuru snatched the last one.

Lord Yanto looked at Chiisude’s hand full of 10 apples and the one in her mouth. “Futher, these are the fest apples efer!”

Jinnifuru had only one and she didn’t eat it like her older sister. Then, she was commanded to do push ups. Silver was on the porch behind Jinnifuru when Chiisude walked up and started doing push ups too.

“This is it, Chiisude, I hate you, despise you, and now you die!” Silver whispered as he made hand signs. “Curse Seal Kill!”

The Curse had hit Jinnifuru instead of Chiisude and Jinnifuru was dead. Silver was supposed to kill Chiisude, but because they were twins, one being brownish haired and the other being more of a black head, he hit Jinnifuru. For days and days Chiisude would be affected by the death of Jinnifuru. And then, the Main House moved to the other side of Kohona where Chiisude would become a great ninja.
