In another part of town Ikki and Metabee have singlehandedly defeated all of the screws. After the battle they encounter Rokusho whom Metabee is anxious to robattle. Rokusho is not interested in robattling. Suddenly, their conversation is interrupted by desparate cries for help. It's Karin, and the Rubberobos are chasing her. Rokusho, Metabee, and Ikki save Karin and the mysterious box she is holding. Karin opens to box to show them a badly beaten up parrot. It's Baton!!! It seems Baton and Rokusho were both apprentices of Dr. Hushi. Back at Ikki's home it looks as if Baton has died, but Ikki's mother realizes the parrot was simply a robot in need of repair. Karin takes them to Dr. Aki's home, because he has the equipment needed.

Henry is chopping wood for Dr. Aki. Suddenly they spot some of the Rubberobos spying on them. Henry goes after them on his motorbike while Dr. Aki picks up an axe to defend himself in case they return. In another part of the house Rokusho is trying to repair Baton. When Baton's memory chip is effected by a power surge, he begins revealing events that occurred the day of the fire. Unbelievable...he is saying that Dr. Aki is responsible!! Rokusho sees Dr. Aki with an axe and thinks he has come to finish him off. Angry and determined to avenge his medafighter, Rokusho attacks Dr. Aki. Luckily the Phantom Renegade intervenes. During the scuffle between Rokusho and the Phantom papers are scattered all over, and some fall dangerously close to the fireplace. It isn't long before those papers ignite, and Dr. Aki's mansion is in flames.

The confrontation between Rokusho, The Phantom, and Dr. Aki takes to the roof as fire engulfs the rest of the house. At Karin's request Ikki and Metabee break through the firemen's barricade to rescue Dr. Aki. Metabee and Rokusho robattle. It doesn't look good...Rokusho has thrown all of his rage from the loss of Dr. Hushi at Metabee. Suddenly Rokusho begins to glow and his strength has increased. The ultimate power of the rare medal is revealed as Rokusho gains the "medaforce". Metabee is easily defeated and sent flying into the flames below, however, the medaforce has left Rokusho feeling exhausted. Oh No!! Can it get any worse??? The dreaded Robo-emperor appears and wants Rokusho's rare medal....End of Part I.

I don't know about you, but I thought this was a great episode!!!!
