Seems Rina was an informant working with Cillian. Using her ill sister as bait, he is basically blackmailing poor Rina.
Van's father is led into the room. Thanks to him, they all escape. He, however, does not leave saying that there are things he must do. He, also, tells Van he must win the Artemis Tournament.
In a secret lab, they appear to be working on some kind of humanoid. What is it's purpose?
