Eeny, Meany, and Miny have challenged Van. If Van wants to save his father, he must take them on 3 on one, But can they be trusted? With the new Sigma DX9 installed, Achilles defeats the trio easily. When Van asks about his father, the trio tell him to "find out for himself!" and quickly disappear. Kaz thinks that they probably didn't know anything in the 1st place.
After the battle, the Hands of Hanz meet up with them again and take them to the Game Center to see Hanz Gordon. Once there, they see Hanz has lost to Dak Sendo! He is a rival to Hanz and has been competing for turf for years. Amy tells Dak that Van was the first to defeat Hanz. This intrigues Dak, and he challenges Van.
Van is doing very poorly against Dak and is close to losing when Justin interferes. He tells them to save it for the Catacombs Tournament. Dak doesn't argue with that.
After that disaster, Van realizes he needs a lot more practice and steps up his training. Kaz and Amy do the same.
The day of the Catacombs Tournament has finally arrived. This tournament has no rules, which means anything goes! Most competitors look like they've just been released from prison including Van's challenger Gravedigger!
