Episode 12: Defeat Sakusimon with a Super-Applink!

Continuing from the previous episode, Rei becomes enraged when Haru asks who Hajime is. Raidramon says that Hajime is Rei's younger brother, and reluctantly, Rei explains the events that led to his sibling's kidnapping. This explanation convinced Haru, Eri, and Astra that Rei was NOT an ally of Leviathan. When Haru says that they are looking to stop Leviathan also, Rei responds, "Then give me all your codes." He adds that if Raidramon eats Gatchmon, he'll be stronger, and he can take information from Sakusimon. Of course, there is no way Haru, Eri, or Astra will let that happen.

Suddenly, Rei and Raidramon are transported away. Eri and Astra want to escape while they can, but Haru wants to help Rei. "In stories, the main character with conviction always manages to win in the end." He says. And with that, Eri and Astra accompany Haru.

In a board-like game devised by Sakusimon, Rei and Raidramon are getting pummeled. So much so that Raidramon reduces to a chip, and Rei is pinned and tortured. Just as Sakusimon is about to kill the boy, Haru and DoGatchmon stop him. Dosukomon and Mediamon join the fray but are swept away along with Eri and Astra.

DoGatchmon continues to fight, but he is struggling. After a strong blow from Sakusimon, Rei can see Haru's determination and throws him the Raidramon chip. DoGatchmon and Raidramon super-applink to a power level of 23750. At that level, Sakusimon is defeated and made to show his information, but before he can show it all, Leviathan erases his data and reduces him to a chip.

As a thank you, Rei gives Haru all of his seven code chips...including Mailmon and walks off as a lone-wolf character normally does.

NOTE: This was the most exciting episode yet. It's interesting to see Rei's sad/dark history. I believe Rei doesn't want the others around, because he doesn't want to see them end up like Hajime.
