EPISODE 4 - BIYOMON GETS FIREPOWER

The Digidestined are hot and tired in the desert. Suddenly, they stumble upon a Yokomon village and race for refreshments. The Yokomon, of course, want a full explanation of how a former member of the village Digivolved. Biyomon explains everything.

While Izzy is thinking of his stomach, T.K. discovers a well. The only thing that came out, however, was - fire? So the Yokomons take the kids to the creek. But the water is all dried up! The Yokomons tell of a Digimon called Meramon who watches over Mount Mihirirashi, the volcano where the water comes from.

Soon, Meramon comes down the mountain, and appears to be in pain. But he wasn't coming to ask for help or greet the kids - instead, he attacked! (The Digidestined didn't know it yet, but Meramon had a Black Gear inside him!) As the kids help bring thousands of Yokomons to safety, Biyomon feels it is her duty to protect her friends. So she challenges Meramon. It seems like there is no hope until she Digivolves into Birdramon! Birdramon uses her meteor wing attack and knocks the ominous black gear right out.

Later, the Yokos give everyone scrumptious food. But Joe doesn't like to eat on an empty stomach, so he skips it.
