SEASON II CHARACTERS

Davis is now the leader of the new digidestined. At first he seems like a self-centered jerk, but as the season progresses, he proves his bravery over and over again. Davis has a major crush on Kari, which causes tension between him and T.K.

T.K. and his mother moved, and he now attends the same school as Kari. T.K. is normally a calm person except when it comes to needless destruction. He still has nightmares of the battle with Myotismon when Patamon was destroyed. There is a rivalry between him and Davis, but he doesn't let that bother him.

Kari has grown up. She seems much more responsible than her age would indicate. One of her hobbies is photography, which is why she carries a camera around her neck. In this season, her and T.K. work with a new group of digidestined to defeat the Digimon Emporer and another even more powerful evil.

Yolei is the oldest of the new digidestined. She's a little too impulsive, and it sometimes gets her in big trouble. She's the kind of girl who knows what she wants and doesn't give up easily. Yolei can be goofy when it's time to say what she's feeling, cuz she blurts out what she REALLY thinks!!! Yolei falls in love easily but stumbles when it's time to tell her feelings! But everybody knows that her heart belongs to Ken.

Cody is the youngest digidestined in the second season. He's learning the skills of Kendo with his grandfather, because his father died years ago. Hiroki, his father, was Oikawa's best friend when they were kids. Cody is not the kind of boy who trusts easily, which is why he doesn't trust Ken for a while, even though Ken saved his life a couple of times....despite this, he's pretty intelligent for a 9 year old boy.

Ken's older brother Sam (Osamu Ichijouji) was hit by a car and killed several years ago, and the loss really affected him. Because Ken felt somewhat responsible, he took on Sam's appearance while terrorizing the Digital World as the Digimon Emperor. He had turned evil when his body absorbed a dark spore while trying to protect Ryo Akiyama, (a friend he met before season 02) on one trip to the Digital World. They went there to defeat Milleniumom, and succeeded. But, before turning to data, Milleniumon threw its dark spores at Ryo, but Ken pushed him out of the way and received one in the nape of the neck. After this, Ryo just... disappeared... But he'll be back in Digimon Tamers!

Generally, Ken is helpful, but a little shy. His principal qualities are sweetness, according to Sam, and kindness, according to Wormmon. That's where his crest of kindness is from. First, he has no friends cuz of his attitude when he was the emperor, but, with Davis' help, he will join the rest of the group. Due to the friendship between Ken and Davis, Paildramon, the DNA digivolution of Stingmon and Exveemon appears.
