I am a fan of the show Digimon.  I do not own any of the characters or concept ideas.  I put action, adventure, and comedy into my stories.  It’s kind of based on the shows.

Chapter 4: Twin Force

Rika: The signals that the Digidestined were following ended up to us.  Takato and Guilmon met up with Kari, T.K. and their Digimon.  Henry and Terriermon met up with Yolei, Cody and their Digimon.  Renamon and I met up with Ken, Davis and their Digimon.  Now we have to help them find their friends.  Is it just me, or is this too weird.

Deep in a castle in a multi zone lived 6 powerful Ultimate Level Digimon.  They are the members of the Twin Force.  The Twin Force was picked by the Sovereigns to keep law and order.  They are made of two data, vaccine and virus type Digimon.  They are three male Digimon; Myotismon, Silphymon and WereGarurumon and female Digimon; Angewomon, LadyDevimon, and Lillymon.  At this point they were playing a challenging game of card.  And you’ll never guess who was winning.

“Grin.” Myotismon said.

“Grin?  I thought we were playing Go Fish.  Whatever that is.” Angewomon said.

“At least I don’t hide cards in my glove like you do.” Lillymon said.

Angewomon blushed.

“Lay off my friend.” LadyDevimon said.

“I’ll never understand how an angel and a fallen angel can ever be friends.” Silphymon said.

“Any friend is a good friend,” WereGarurumon said. “Since we’re all Digimon after all.”

“Who’s before all?” Angewomon asked.

“Angewomon.  You’re an idiot.” Lillymon said.

Angewomon was embarrassed but LadyDevimon was just mad.  As the group prepared the next hand, a bright light appeared.  It was a screen to show the face Zhuqiaomon.

“Attention Twin Force,” he said.

That scared the Twin Force and made Angewomon fall out of her seat.

“Get up you pinhead,” Zhuqiaomon said. “I have some bad news.”

“Is it about my raise?” Lillymon asked.

“No, it’s not about your raise,” Zhuqiaomon said angrily. “The humans are making an attempt at the prisoners.”

“Why would they want them?” Silphymon said.

“I know I want an aspirin.” Angewomon said rubbing her helmet.

“How can a small brain get a big headache?” Zhuqiaomon said. “But that’s beside the point.  The point is these humans enslaved Digimon.”

“That’s terrible.” LadyDevimon said.

“This coming from a fallen angel.” WereGarurumon mumbled.

“Anymore comments like that and I’ll delete you,” Zhuqiaomon said angrily. “Tell me someone is guarding the humans and Digimon traders.”

“Yes, oh might Zhuqiaomon,” Myotismon said. “A Rookie and a Champion Level is guarding each of them.”

“That’s it?” Zhuqiaomon said. “It maybe enough if they don’t digivolve.”

“They can’t,” Lillymon said. “It’ll take them years to reach the next level.”

“Plus the guards are too powerful for them.” Angewomon added.

Zhuqiaomon growled.  The screens changed to the three teams.  It scene focused on the team closest to the prisoners.  This was Kari’s team.

At this point each kid and Digimon had a different thought in their head.

‘I don’t trust Takato,’ T.K. thought. ‘There’s something about him I don’t like.’

‘T.K. is cute,’ Kari thought. ‘He is nice.  I’m glad he is here with me.  I wonder if Takato is as nice as him.’

‘Guilmon is ugly,’ Patamon thought. ‘I don’t like him.  I don’t trust him.  And I think he’ll betray us.’

‘Guilmon’s a virus,’ Gatomon thought. ‘I hate viruses.  If he makes a move to Kari, I’ll delete him in a nanosecond.’

‘I can’t believe I’m with two of the Digidestined,’ Takato thought happily. ‘It’s like a dream.  Maybe I should tell Kari who she reminds me.’

‘I wonder if any of them have any peanut butter,’ Guilmon thought. ‘I don’t know what’s the big deal is.  I think they need a lot of peanut butter.’

The group walked down the path two other Digimon started to watch them.

“The humans are heading to your guarding post.” The bigger one said.

“Yeah guarding post.” The little one said.

“Shut up,” the big one said. “If they get too close you know what to do.”

“Uh-ha.  Yup.  Uh… What do we do?” the little one said.

“You’re an idiot,” the big one said. “If they get too close like I know they will.  We’ll delete them and upload their Digimon slaves’ data.”

“Yeah.  Data.” The little one said.

“Shut up.” The big one said.

The second closest was Rika’s group.  As they walked they saw Davis with an odd look on his face.  He looked too serious.  Rika had a glare in her eye and a thought that she was crazy.  No one gave them a second look but DemiVeemon wanted to ask Rika something important.

“So Rika.  Are we closer to the others?” DemiVeemon asked.

“How should I know?” Rika said rudely.

DemiVeemon jumped back.

‘She’s not a very nice girl.’ DemiVeemon thought.

‘Why doesn’t that little blue imp go bother someone else?’ Rika thought. ‘Why does all the sickeningly cute Digimon come to me?’

Renamon kept her distance.

‘Rika is a tough girl.  I wonder if seeing these humans she’ll be happier.  But I doubt it.’ Renamon thought.

As they walked through the park, two Digimon watched and laughed.

“A Renamon.” The smaller one said.

“Cute ain’t she.” The bigger one said.

“She’s a fox.” The little one joked.

“Soon she’ll be fox stew.” The big one said.

The third group was the farthest away from the prisoners.  It was Yolei’s group.  They were five minutes farther then the others.  They were twelve minutes farther then Kari’s team.  Plus they are more talkative.

“So Henry,” Poromon said. “You have a Terriermon.”

“So?” Terriermon asked.

“He looks… different.” Upamon said.

“That’s because he’s a different Terriermon.” Henry said.

“You’re lucky.  I wish I had a cool Digimon like yours.” Cody said.

“Same here.” Yolei said.

Upamon and Poromon started to get jealous.

“Momentai.” Terriermon said.

That got a giggle from Yolei.

“That’s a silly saying.” Yolei said.

“Well I’m a silly Digimon.” Terriermon said.

As they walked down the street, two Digimon watched in an ice-cold stare.

“They’re heading to our ice prison.” The little one said.

“You mean my ice prison.” The big one said.

“It don’t matter.” The little one said.

“You mean is doesn’t matter.” The big one said.

“All I’m saying is that if they get too close,” the little one said. “We will freeze them in their tracks.”

At the forest the group was nearing the prison.  As they neared, Twin Force member Lillymon watched more closely.

“They’re heading to their doom.” Lillymon said.

“”We’ll see.” Zhuqiaomon said.

The group stopped about a few feet of the prison.

“What is that Karimon?” Guilmon asked.

“Looks like a giant vine cell,” Kari said. “And don’t call me Karimon.”

“Welcome to my world.” Takato said.

“No.  Welcome to mine.” An odd Digimon said.

“Yeah, mine.” Another said.

“Shut up.” The first said.

Guilmon started to growl at the two Digimon.

“I recognize one of the voices.” T.K. said.

Guilmon checked out the Digimon as Takato looked at his D-Power.  A picture of the Digimon appeared.  It was a dark green ogre Digimon.  He was holding a club with a nail in it.

“Sharmamon: Rookie Level-Virus Type,” Takato said. “He’s small and evil.  He uses his Sharma Hammer to pound his foes flat.”

“How did you do that?” Patamon asked.

“It’s a Digidex,” Takato said. “All D-Powers have them.”

“Oh,” T.K. said. “So, who’s the other Mon?”

Guilmon looked and Takato checked.  The other Digimon was bigger, uglier and meaner looking.  He had a bone club instead of a wood club.

“Ogremon: Same Type-Champion Level,” Takato said. “He’s mean as he’s ugly.  He’s Pummel Whack attack is a blast of dark energy.”

Everyone was shock to hear that.  They looked up and saw the two.

“So.  We meet again.” Ogremon said.

“Yeah.  Meet.” Sharmamon said.

“Shut up.” Ogremon said.

“Ogremon.  It was a long time since we saw you last.” T.K. said.

“You’re right,” Ogremon said. “But I’ve changed.  I no longer like humans.”

“Yeah.  We hate humans.” Sharmamon said.

“Shut up.” Ogremon said.

The kids were confused.

“I think there the ones who is trying to out break the prisoners.” Sharmamon said.

“No duh,” Ogremon said. “And their Digimon don’t look too tough to delete.”

“But Gatomon is a Champion Level.” Sharmamon said.

“She ain’t got her tail ring,” Ogremon said. “She’s as weak as a Rookie now.  Plus we got humans to eat.”

“Yeah.  Human stew.” Sharmamon said.

Gatomon’s ears went back in a flash.

“No one eats Kari as long as I live.” Gatomon said.

“That goes double for T.K.” Patamon said.

“I think they should armor up.” Kari said.

T.K. nodded to agree.

“Digiarmor Energize.” The two Digidestined said.

“Gatomon armor digivolve to…”

“Patamon armor digivolve to…”

They started to glow but nothing happened.  The two ogres stood laughing.

“Oh, I’m so scared.” Ogremon said.

“Yeah.  They can’t delete us.” Sharmamon said.

“Shut up.” Ogremon said.

“What should we do?” Gatomon asked.

“Fight them of course.” Takato said.

“Okay.  But who first?” Patamon asked.

“I’ll go first,” Guilmon said. “I’ve got a trick or two to show.”

“Just don’t delete them.” Kari begged.

“He has to delete us.  If you want the prizes.” Ogremon said.

“We guard them and to open the gates.  You must delete us.” Sharmamon said.

“You and Guilmon first.” Takato said.

“Okay,” Sharmamon said. “Maybe I’ll digivolve.”

The two Rookie Level Digimon face on and other to start the fight.  Sharmamon charged Guilmon first.

“Sharma Hammer.”

Sharmamon tried to hit Guilmon with his club.  Each swing was a miss.  Lucky for Guilmon.

“Guilmon attack.” Takato said.

“Okay Takatomon,” Guilmon said.

He focused at Sharmamon and charged up.

“Pyro Sphere.”

Guilmon launched his fireball at Sharmamon.  It was a one hit knockout.  Sharmamon turned into particles.  Guilmon uploaded his data as the kids and good Digimon was shock.

“Why did you do that?” Gatomon asked.

“The poor Sharmamon.” T.K. said.

“Look.” Kari said.

The vines on the prison started to wither.

“One down,” Guilmon said. “One to go.”

“I won’t go down as easily.” Ogremon said.

“I think he’s right.” Kari said.

“As if,” said Takato. “Time to show another feature of the D-Power,”

Takato took out a card.  He swiped the card in the D-Power.

“Digimodify… Power Active.” Takato said.

Guilmon roared loudly with power.

“Nice,” Ogremon said. “But I’m not impressed,”

Ogremon charged at Guilmon.

“Bone Cudgel.”

It was worst then the Sharma Hammer.  The bone club barely missed.  Guilmon was too busy to attack.  With a might swing, Ogremon hit Guilmon in the side of the head.  Guilmon went flying into a tree.  Ogremon laughed thinking he defeated Guilmon.  He was so wrong.  Guilmon got up and shook off his headache.

“My turn,” Guilmon said. “Pyro Sphere.”

Guilmon powered up and launched a powerful blast.  Ogremon didn’t try to dodge.  Big mistake.  The blast hit Ogremon hard.  Ogremon broke into particles.  Guilmon ran to him and uploaded his data.  Guilmon felt stronger.  But the other felt sadder.

“I don’t think that was necessary.” T.K. said.

“I think differently.” Takato said looking at the prison.

The others looked too and were amazed.  The prison started to glow and disappear.  An opening appeared in front of the prison.  Guilmon was sniffing and picked up a few scents.

“I smell someone inside.” Guilmon said.

At that point two kids and Digimon stepped out.  One had his hair in an odd form and the other had a more serious look.  They were both wearing school uniforms.  One of the Digimon was a little yellow lizard.  The other was a lizard with a horn and a fur pelt.

“Tai.  Agumon.” Kari said.

“Matt.  Gabumon.” T.K. said.

“Kari.  Gatomon.” Tai said.

“T.K.  Patamon.” Matt said.

As they ran to each other, Guilmon felt like he was going to throw up.  Tai hugged Kari as Matt hugged T.K.

“It’s been so long since I’ve seen you.” Tai said.

“What do you mean?” Kari asked.

“We’ve been trapped in there for who knows how long.” Agumon said.

Kari and T.K. broke the hugs.

“Tell me.  Who defeated Sharmamon and Ogremon?” Gabumon asked.

“Um.  Me and Guilmon did.” Takato said.

The four freed ones looked at the two.

“Cool.” Agumon said.

“A Guilmon.  Freed by a Guilmon.” Gabumon said.

“There’s other Guilmon?” Guilmon asked.

“Long story.” Tai said.

At that moment, a green portal opened.

“What’s that?” Takato asked.

“A Warp Tunnel,” Tai said. “It’ll get us to the others.”

“I’ve heard that before.” Guilmon said sarcastically.

Tai and Agumon looked mad at each other.  They ran through the portal followed by Matt and Gabumon.  Kari and Gatomon want next.  T.K. was reluctant but he and Patamon jumped through.  Takato and Guilmon went last.

“They did it.” Silphymon said.

“And you’re proud of it?” WereGarurumon said.

“No,” Silphymon protested. “But it was a little cool.”

‘Nitwit.’ WereGarurumon thought.

“You’re team failed!” Zhuqiaomon yelled. “What am I paying you for?”

“Don’t worry,” Angewomon said. “The group heading to my team is next.  They are stronger then the last.”

“Coming from you is like listening to Azulongmon.” Zhuqiaomon said.

“Thank you.” Angewomon said.

“Azulongmon is an idiot.” Zhuqiaomon said.

Angewomon fell back anime style.  That got a giggle from LadyDevimon.

“Angewomon watches too much TV.” Lillymon said.

“Let’s just watch the humans get creamed.” Myotismon said.

“I like ice cream.” Angewomon said getting up.

Zhuqiaomon growled at Angewomon.

The second group was nearing the park as Renamon and Rika felt a familiar present.

“What’s happening?” Rika said.

“It’s like I was here before.” Renamon said.

Davis and Ken wanted to laugh but DemiVeemon and Wormmon’s look told them otherwise.

“I sense an odd force nearby.” Wormmon said.

“It maybe coming from there.” DemiVeemon said pointing.

Everyone looked but only Rika and Renamon looked shocked.

“It looks like…” Renamon started to say.

“Like were Guilmon sleeps.” Rika finished.

“What’s a Guilmon?” Davis asked.

“I’ve never heard of Guilmon.” DemiVeemon said.

“This coming from a rare Digimon.” An odd voice said.

Everyone looked and saw two Digimon.  They looked like Sharmamon and Ogremon only different.

“Who are you?” Ken demanded.

“I’ve seen both of you before.” Rika said.

“I’ve fought you two before,” Renamon said. “And won.”

“Who are they?” Davis asked.

Rika smiled at Davis.  Renamon looked straight at the two Digimon.  Rika looked at her D-Power for some data.  He looked like Sharmamon only with lighter skin.

“Goburimon: Rookie Level-Virus Type.  He’s a cheater and a prankster.  His attacks are the Goburi Bomb and Goburi Strike.”

“Are you going to introduce me too?  Human.” The big one asked.

He looked like Ogremon only with brown skin instead of green.  Rika pointed at him.

“Fugamon: Virus Type-Champion Level.  He’s as mean as he is ugly.  He can use his Heavy Stick or his Evil Hurricane to cream his foes.”

“I’ve defeated a Fugamon once before.” Renamon said.

“I ain’t fighting fox girl,” Goburimon said. “I’m fighting the rare Digimon.”

“You mean DemiVeemon?” Davis said.

“The one and the like.” Goburimon said.

“I ain’t… I mean I’m not afraid.” DemiVeemon said.

“Soon you is.” Goburimon said.

He aimed at DemiVeemon.

“Goburi Bomb.”

He fired three fireballs at DemiVeemon and Wormmon.  The two barely dodged it.  Davis looked at their D-3s.  The D-3 started to glow and overload.

“What’s going on?” Davis said.

“The D-3 is going to explode.” Ken said.

Ken was close but luckily wrong.

“DemiVeemon digivolve to… Veemon.”

The In-Training Digimon became into his Rookie form.

“So you is going to getting me a good fight,” Goburimon said. “I hates good fights.”

“Its better then your grammar.” Veemon said.

“I’ll enjoys deleting your blue hide,” Goburimon said charging. “Goburi Strike.”

Goburimon swung at Veemon.  Each time was a miss.

“Strike one.  Strike two.  Strike three.  You’re out,” Veemon said. “Vee Head Butt.”

Veemon hit Goburimon hard in the chest with his head butt.  That knocked the wind out of him.

“Yous good,” Goburimon said. “But I’ms more good.  Goburi Bomb.”

Goburimon fired his fireballs at Veemon.  Veemon dodged them and charged at Goburimon.

“Sorry Goburimon,” Veemon said. “Vee Punch.”

Veemon hit Goburimon so hard Goburimon started to delete.

“Quickly,” Renamon said. “Upload his data.”

“How?” Veemon said.

“Focus on him.” Renamon said.

At Goburimon deleted Veemon focused on him.  Veemon at that point uploaded Goburimon’s data.  Once he was done, Veemon felt more powerful and the door started to rust away.

“What a rush.” Veemon said.

“Why you little blue imp,” Fugamon said. “I’ll delete you.”

As he charged at Veemon, Renamon stopped him.

“Ever heard the term ‘ladies first’?” Renamon said.

Fugamon looked confused.  That was a bad move.  Renamon saw it and kicked him in the side of the head.  That sent him flying a few feet.  As Fugamon regained his pose he attacked.

“Evil Hurricane.”

He fired a blast of wind at Renamon.  Rika was a little fast on the draw.  Taking a card she crossed her arms and swiped in on her D-Power.

“Digimodify… Power Activated.” Rika said.

Renamon jumped into the air with great speed.

“Déja vu.” Renamon said.

“What was that?” Fugamon said.

“Diamond Storm.”

Renamon crossed her arms and formed a cloud of diamonds.  They fell like rain.  Fugamon didn’t dodge in time.  It hit him with full force.  Fugamon broke up and deleted.  Renamon uploaded his data in victory.

“That was fun.” Renamon joked.

“I didn’t think so.” Wormmon said.

“You’ll help out next time.” Veemon said.

“Thanks.” Wormmon said.

As the group was thinking about their victory, the bars of the gate deleted.

“What was that?” Ken asked.

The group looked in shock.  They moved to the prison as they saw a human hand reach out.  The group stopped as the humans and Digimon stepped out.  One was a redhead girl like Rika.  Only her hair was short and straight.  She was wearing a school uniform.  The Digimon near her was a little pink bird.  The other human was a pink haired girl with little star in her hair.  She wore a red, white, and blue start with a yellow start on it.  Plus a white skirt and boots.  With her was a walking plant.

“Are they who I think they are?” Rika said.

“Mimi, Sora, Palmon and Biyomon.” Davis said.

The group looked at the newly freed group.

“Oh my aching head.” Mimi whined.

“What happened?” Sora asked.

“I think… I think someone freed us.” Biyomon said.

“Why?  How?  Who?” Palmon asked.

“Over here.” Veemon called.

The freed group looked.

“Veemon.  You freed us?” Mimi asked.

“Me and Renamon.” Veemon said.

The girls ran to the others.

“Thank you.” Mimi said.

“Wow.  Renamon is as tall as I am.” Sora said.

“I am a Rookie Level.” Renamon said.

“You must be powerful to fight Goburimon and Fugamon.” Mimi said.

“Renamon took care of Fugamon,” Wormmon said. “Veemon took care of Goburimon.  I… just stood here.”

Mimi giggled girlishly.

“Don’t worry Wormmon.  You’ll still good in my eyes.” Biyomon said.

Before everyone’s eyes a green portal opened.

“What’s that?” Rika asked.

“It’s a Warp Tunnel,” Mimi said.  As she ran to it she said, “Last one through is a rotten Digiegg.”

She jumped through it followed by Sora and the others.  Rika and Renamon was the only two not willing to go through but they saw it was safe.  They entered the portal and disappeared.

“That’s another failure,” Zhuqiaomon said. “You six are testing my patients.”

“You’re a doctor?” Angewomon asked.

“That’s not FUNNY!” Zhuqiaomon yelled.

Angewomon jumped out of her chair.

“I am so out of here.” Angewomon said.

“You’re going to pass the final of the three failures?” Zhuqiaomon said.

“I’m hungry.  I’m getting some vanilla ice cream.” Angewomon said.

“Go then.” Zhuqiaomon said.

“Thank you my Sovereign.” Angewomon said.

At the final group was nearing the prison.  But the view wasn’t as good as the others.  The further they went, the colder it got.  The odd thing was Terriermon was the only one smiling.  Yolei on the other hand hated the cold.  But she continued anyhow.

“Okay.  They better be close.” Yolei said.

“We’re almost there.” Henry asked.

“To where I ask?” Yolei said. “It’s too cold and I hate the cold.”

Poromon looked sad for Yolei.

“The cold doesn’t bother me.  Maybe if you were as warn thinking as me.  You wouldn’t be cold either.” Terriermon said.

“Harsh, Terriermon.” Henry said.

“Momentai.” Terriermon said.

“What a weird saying.” Upamon said.

“Let’s go.  We’re wasting time.” Yolei said.

The group continued with a cold and upset Yolei.  Yolei could barely think.  But she was going to save the others.  Cold or no cold.  But she prefers not cold.  Poromon knew it and looked into Yolei’s eyes.  She looked back and smiled.  She felt warmer and happy. 

“Why are you smiling?” Poromon asked.

“No reason,” Yolei said. “I just love your presents.”

Poromon smiled.

The group ran to where the arrow pointed.  They stopped in front of a big ice block in the middle of the road.

“That’s what you get leaving to refrigerator open all day.” Terriermon said.

“Cold Terriermon.” Henry said.

“It’s true.” Terriermon said.

“Terriermon is a kid at heart.” Cody said.

“You can say that again.” Upamon said.

“I rather not.” Cody said.

“Our friends must be there.” Poromon said.

“Great,” Yolei said rolling her eyes. “We got to get pass this ice prison.”

“You mean my ice prison.” An angry voice said.

Everyone turned to look and saw two Digimon.  They looked like the other Digimon guards.  Only they are blue.  The little one is in an artic suit and hat.  The club was no different.  The bigger one had a club made of ice instead of bone.  He had icicles instead of bones on his shoulders.

“Who and what are you?” Upamon said.

“Your icy nightmare.” The little one said.

Terriermon glared at the two as Henry looked at his D-Power.

“SnowGoburimon: Rookie Level-Evil Digimon.  He has an icy temper and an icy stare.  He fires snowballs with his Bolt Strike and hits you with his Snow Cudgel.”

“He sounds cool,” Terriermon said. “But who’s big and ugly?”

“Hyogamon: Champion Level-Icy Digimon.  He has a club of ice and a heart to match.  His Icy Cudgel is stronger then SnowGoburimon’s Snow Cudgel.  He also has a Throwing Ice attack that freezes his opponents cold.”

“So you’re one of the slave Digimon.” Hyogamon said.

“I thought that was three of them.” SnowGoburimon said.

“There are others?” Hawkmon asked.

“You’ll meet them later.” Terriermon said.

“Not if we have anything to say.” SnowGoburimon said.

“Now would be a good time to digivolve.” Cody said.

“I’m on it.” Upamon said.

“Same here.” Yolei said.

Cody and Yolei’s D-3 started to glow very bright.

“Upamon digivolve to… Armadillomon.”

“Poromon digivolve to… Hawkmon.”

“Ready to fight?” SnowGoburimon said.

“It’s best not to fight.” Armadillomon said.

“It’s not?” Hyogamon said. “Well I got a little info for you.  Inside this ice prison is four of your friends,”

Everyone looked and was amazed.

“If you defeat me and my partner.  You’ll be able to free them.  But I’ve never been defeated.”

“Prepare to be defeated.” said Cody.

“Digiarmor Energize.” Cody and Yolei said.

“Armadillomon armor digivolve to…”

“Hawkmon armor digivolve to…”

Nothing happened.

“That’s not a good sign.” Armadillomon said.

“It is to us.” SnowGoburimon said.

SnowGoburimon charged at Armadillomon.

“Snow Cudgel.”

Armadillomon did the first thing on his mind.

“Diamond Shell.”

He curled into a ball and rolled into SnowGoburimon dodging his club.  It was a hard hit but Armadillomon had one more move to do.

“Diamond Slamming Attack.”

He reached out with his claws and swiped at him.  The swipes were enough to knock him out.  As SnowGoburimon started to delete Henry called out, “Focus on SnowGoburimon.”

Armadillomon did as SnowGoburimon deleted.  Armadillomon got stronger by uploading SnowGoburimon’s data.

“Just because you defeated my partner doesn’t mean you’ll defeat me,” Hyogamon said. “So, who’s my opponent?”

Terriermon was about to step up to battle, Hawkmon jumped in first.

“I’ll fight.” Hawkmon said.

Hyogamon just laughed.

“You?  A Rookie?” Hyogamon said.

“I’m stronger then I look.” Hawkmon said.

“We’ll see, little one.” Hyogamon said.

“But you can’t Digimodify.” Henry said.

“I don’t care,” Hawkmon said. “I have something to prove.”

With that the battle started.  Hyogamon changed at Hawkmon.

“Icy Cudgel.” Hyogamon attacked.

He swung his ice club at Hawkmon.

“Beak Buzz Saw.” Hawkmon attacked.

He threw his feather at the ice club.  The club sliced in two.

“No matter,” Hyogamon said. “Throwing Ice.”

Hyogamon made a fist and fired an ice blast. Hawkmon dodged it in time.

“Hawk Beam.” Hawkmon attacked.

He put his wings together and fired a beam at Hyogamon.  It hit directly on and started to delete.  Hawkmon focused and uploaded his data.

“That was cool,” Henry said. “You didn’t need Modify Cards.”

“I think Hyogamon was just a weakling.” Terriermon said.

As everyone stood smiling, the ice wall nearest them started to crack and melt.  Everyone watched in amazement.  After the ice disappeared four beings exited the prison.  One had brownish hair and dark eyes.  He was wearing a school uniform.  With him fly a metal looking ladybug.  The other human was an older one.  He had blue hair and dark eyes.  He was wearing a different school uniform.  With him was a small seal with a Mohawk.

“Joe.  Izzy.” Yolei said.

Joe held his head.

“Not so loud,” Joe said. “I get headaches easily.”

“I’m glad to you too.” Cody said.

“What about me?” the seal said.

“Sorry, Gomamon,” Hawkmon said. “It’s great to see you and Tentomon again.”

“It’s been a long time.” Tentomon said.

“So, who are your friends?” Izzy asked.

“I am Henry and this is my Digimon partner Terriermon.”

“Momentai.” Terriermon said.

“That’s cool and all,” Yolei said. “But how are we going to find the others?”

As if on cue the green portal opened.

“Prodigious,” Izzy said. “A Warp Tunnel.  They rarely open without help.”

Izzy and Tentomon ran to the Warp Tunnel and went through.  Joe and Gomamon went next.

“Is it safe?” Armadillomon asked.

“I guess so.” Cody said.

With that the others went through the portal.

Back at the Twin Force base, Zhuqiaomon was now real mad.

“They set them free.” Zhuqiaomon yelled.

“Its just luck.” Myotismon said.

“The guards we posted were too weak.” Lillymon said.

“Tell me you’ll have better luck.” Zhuqiaomon said.

“They can’t digivolve pass Rookie,” Silphymon said. “We’ll have the advantage.”

“And maybe with luck,” LadyDevimon said. “We can convince some of them to leave the humans and join us.”

“I doubt it LadyDevimon,” Zhuqiaomon said. “I truly doubt it.”
