I am a fan of the show Digimon. I do not own any of the characters or concept ideas. This that’s place between the Season 3: Episode 13: Juggernaut and Episode 14: Grow Mon Grow. I put action, adventure, and comedy into my stories. It’s kind of based on the shows.

Chapter 2: Beyond the Juggernaut
T.K.: Three years after the evil was defeated, we Digidestined were going on with our lives. But four Digimon called the Sovereigns disliked how history played out. With the power of the Destiny Stones, they when back to the present to change history. Back then we failed to stop the Digimon Emperor’s base from exploding. I just wonder what that has to do with Earth. If this place is Earth.
In the Tamers world, the Tamers were all in their homes. Or at least two of them were. But the story starts in the Hypno’s base. Inside were a huge computer and three people in the main computer room.
“Sir, Juggernaut is at 45% power and growing.” Riley said.
“Excellent,” Yamaki said. “Soon Juggernaut will go to full power and all the Digimon in the world will be deleted.”
“Sir, I must say I have I bad feeling about this.” Tally said.
“I didn’t ask.” Yamaki said.
“But sir…” Tally said.
“But nothing,” Yamaki said. “When Juggernaut becomes fully powered. All the Wild Ones on the net will be deleted permanently.”
“Yes sir.” Tally said.
Back to the roaming Tamer. He was the so called leader, Takato. He was headed to Guilmon’s home and he was carrying a bag of bread. Guilmon looked like a meat eater, but he prefers bread for some reason. Takato was in a hurry because he figured Guilmon was lonely. As he ran through the park he hoped that Guilmon wasn’t sad. Takato ran up the stairs and to the cage where Guilmon was.
“Hello?” he said. “Guilmon?”
He looked around and saw Guilmon in the back. It looked at Takato with sad eyes.
“Guilmon,” Takato said. “I got some bread for you,”
Guilmon didn’t react. He seemed sad.
“Is there something wrong?” Takato asked.
“Nothing.” Guilmon finally said.
“Doesn’t sound like nothing,” Takato said. “You sound depressed. Is there something on your mind?”
Guilmon looked away for a second.
“I had a dream.” Guilmon said.
“About what?” Takato said.
Guilmon sighed.
“I had the dream for a few days,” Guilmon said. “And it was always the same.”
“What was it about?” Takato said.
Guilmon sighed again.
“I was in this place,” Guilmon started. “I was there with Renamon and Terriermon. They were staring at stones.”
“Where was me, Henry and Rika?” Takato said.
“You and the other Tamers were there too,” Guilmon said. “But if the stones and my dream was true. Then you three… are dead.”
“What?” Takato said. “You’re kidding?”
Guilmon shook his head.
“I not kidding,” Guilmon said. “But I think the dream will come true soon.”
Takato smiled sadly.
“Maybe we should go to the place where you dreamt of,” Takato said, “to make you fill better. And prove it was nothing but a nightmare.”
“Thanks Takatomon.” Guilmon said.
They were off to the place.
At the Wong home, Henry was doing his homework. He was doing math and listening to the silence of the room. The weirdest part was that Terriermon was there too. But he would be talking and talking. Instead he sat there looking out the window. He had a straight face and acted if Suzie was watching him. Henry got worried.
“Is there something wrong?” Henry said.
Terriermon looked at him for a moment then looked away.
“You’re quiet,” Henry said. “You’re never quiet. What’s on your mind?”
Terriermon looked at him again.
“I had a nightmare.” Terriermon said.
“Of what?” Henry asked.
“It’s too sad to say.” Terriermon said.
“What’s too sad?” Henry said.
Terriermon looked out the window again.
“It was about Suzie.” Terriermon said.
“Is that all?” Henry said crossing his arms.
“No. There’s more,” Terriermon said. “She was running to me. She looked very scared.”
“And you were?” Henry asked.
“I was still as usual,” Terriermon said. “As I sat there, Suzie called out for me. ‘Terriermon, Terriermon. Please, save me.’ She said.”
“But you didn’t move.” Henry said.
“I didn’t,” Terriermon said. “But I should have. She tripped and I saw something huge behind her.”
“What?” Henry asked.
“I don’t know,” Terriermon said. “But it was big. It came close to Suzie and formed an axe blade.”
“What happened to Suzie?” Henry asked nervously.
“Suzie was crying and crawling to me. But I didn’t move a muscle,” Terriermon said. “Then I saw the blade raise and fall…”
“Fall where?” Henry said.
“It fall… on Suzie,” Terriermon said. “I looked away a second before I it happened. I heard Suzie scream. Then I woke up. It’s been happening for days now.”
“You mean?” Henry said.
“I think Suzie isn’t the only one in trouble,” Terriermon said. “I remember that the place was in the city. We have to go there.”
“If it means saving Suzie’s life,” Henry said getting up. “Then I’m all for it.”
“Momentai.” Terriermon said happily.
The two were off also.
At the only girl Tamer’s house, Rika was in her room drinking some tea. She had a rough day with her mother and grandmother. She needed to relax a little. She always felt tea was calming. Of course she had a rough tomboy look to keep up. She hated cuteness. As she sipped her tea, Renamon faded in. Rika was use to it so she wasn’t surprised.
“What is it?” Rika said a little annoyed.
“I was here to make sure that you’re alright.” Renamon said.
“Good,” Rika said sarcastically. “Now if there isn’t anything else you want.”
“There is,” Renamon said. “I had a nightmare. Or you my call it a vision.”
“Of what?” Rika said.
Renamon got her attention.
“It was the end of all humans,” Renamon said. “It was how the humans all died.”
Rika just raised an eyebrow.
“These that mean me too?” Rika said.
“Yes,” Renamon said.
Rika put down her tea and walked to the door.
“Wait. Where are you going?” Renamon said.
Rika slipped on her shoes as she exited her room.
“If my executioner is out there,” Rika said. “Then I don’t want to keep him waiting.”
Renamon was shocked. She knew Rika was hardheaded. But this was beyond belief. But at the same time, it was exciting.
At took them a few minutes to reach the place. But they were all surprised to see each other.
“What are you doing here?” Rika demanded.
“Glad to see you too.” Terriermon said.
“I can’t speak for Terriermon and Henry,” Takato said. “But I’m here because Guilmon had a bad dream.”
“You mean a nightmare?” Henry said.
“Or a vision?” Rika said.
“I guess that they’re all true.” Takato said.
“I think the dream or whatever is about to become true.” Guilmon said worried.
They all looked at the Hypno’s building even though they didn’t know what it was.
Inside the Hypno’s team was finishing the Juggernaut.
“Power level at 98% and rising.” Riley said.
“I have a real bad feeling about this.” Tally said.
“Soon that feeling will pass,” Yamaki said. “As will the age of the Digimon.”
He was playing with a lighter.
“Power level at 100%.” Riley said.
“Good. Very good,” Yamaki said. “Active the program.”
“But sir…” Tally said.
“But nothing,” Yamaki said. “Activate now.”
“Yes sir.” Tally said sadly.
They typed on the keyboards. The Juggernaut hummed as the power surged through the circuits.
“Good bye Digimon.” Yamaki said.
At the top of the pillars, a beam fired. It made a vortex in the sky. It was made to draw in Digimon.
“Sir, we have a problem.” Riley said.
“What is it?” Yamaki said.
“It seems that the Digimon on the real world aren’t coming to the signal.” Riley said.
“What?” Yamaki said.
“I told you I had a bad feeling about this.” Tally said.
“Tell me something I don’t know.” Yamaki said.
The two typists turned on outer cameras. The vortex was growing and sparking wildly.
“Sir, if the reading are right,” Riley said. “Then something had taken over the Juggernaut program.”
“How?” Yamaki said.
His answer came as the form of evil laughing.
“Simple minded humans,” the laughing said. “You tried to delete us. But your little toy just made us stronger. Now we have the power to enter your world and conquer it.”
Outside, the Tamers and Digimon saw the vortex and heard the voice.
“What the heck was that?” Rika said.
“I think the end.” Renamon said.
“I have a really bad feeling about this.” Guilmon said.
Takato nodded.
“You Digimon are an insult to your kind,” the voice said. “Siding with humans. But if you’re a friend of them. Then you’re an enemy to us.”
“Who are you?” Terriermon said.
The voice laughed very evilly. The Tamers started to float. They were going into the void.
“Rika!” Renamon said.
She was scared for her. But she and the other Tamer Digimon started to float too. They were shocked and scared.
“Now you’ll be the first to… DIE!” the voice said.
The six floated up into the void. Inside they screamed in pain as they seemed to delete. But that’s not the end.
Takato was on his back. He slowly opened his eyes. He blinked then opened his eyes again. He sat up and looked around. He saw nothing. Literally. It was as if he was in the void itself.
“Rika?” he said. “Henry? Renamon? Terriermon? Guilmon?”
He looked around in the darkness. It seemed to go on forever. He got up and started walking. He founded no one. He was getting worried in a hurry.
“I’m alone.” Takato said.
“Not true.” A second voice said.
Takato looked around in the darkness.
“Who’s there?” Takato said.
He looked and looked. Behind him appeared a young girl about his age. She was wearing a green skirt with a yellow undershirt. She had brown hair with a side ponytail.
“Jeri? Is that you?” Takato said.
“Yes.”
Jeri walked closer as did Takato.
“Boy I’m glad to see you.” Takato said.
“And I you.” Jeri said.
“Where are we?” Takato said.
“Beyond the Juggernaut,” Jeri said. “Where all deleted matter goes. I think this place is called: The World of the Deleted.”
“You mean we’re…” Takato said.
“Dead? Yes.” Jeri said.
That came as a huge blow to Takato.
“But I thought Digimon go to Data World to be reloaded.” Takato said.
“But we are not Digimon.”
Takato was upset.
“So that’s what happened,” Takato said. “Why?”
“I’m not too sure,” Jeri said. “But at least we are together at least.”
Takato looked sad.
“Together.” He mumbled.
As he looked at Jeri, he couldn’t help but feel an evil force coming from her.
“Jeri?” Takato said.
“Yes?” Jeri said.
“What is Guilmon’s attack?” Takato said.
“Metal Blaster.” Jeri said happily.
Takato took a step back.
“Wrong,” Takato said. “That was the move I used to defeat a Digimon with. You if you know that attack then you’re…”
Jeri grinned. Only her teeth weren’t human. She started to shade her outer form. Her true body was a big, black flamed lizard.
“You again.” Takato said.
He checked his D-Power. But he remembered that it’ll only work if Guilmon was looking at her. The D-Power started to glow as the Digidex appeared.
“DarkLizamon: Champion Level-Virus Type,” Takato said. “Special Attack: Dark Flare.”
“You may have defeated me once,” DarkLizamon said. “But without Guilmon. You’re defenseless.”
“I think not,” Takato said.
“Pyro Sphere.”
A fireball hit DarkLizamon.
“Who did that?” DarkLizamon said.
“I did.” The Digimon said coming into view.
“Guilmon.” Takato said.
“Not you again.” DarkLizamon said.
“Back at you.” Guilmon shot back.
“I you were here.” Takato said.
“Fine,” DarkLizamon said. “I have something to say. I you can defeat me. You and the others can pass.”
“Pass to where?” Takato said.
“You’ll have to defeat me first,” DarkLizamon said. “Dark Flare.”
She fired her dark fire at Takato. Guilmon got in the way.
“Pyro Sphere.”
Guilmon fired his fireball at the flare. The two blasts fought each other.
“Time to make you stronger,” Takato said.
He lifted the D-Power in the air and swiped a card.
“Digimodify… Energy Active.”
“Pyro Sphere.”
Guilmon fired and forced back the flare. It hit DarkLizamon and she started to break up.
“Fool… Digimon will rule… you can not stop us… we are Digimon…” DarkLizamon shouted.
She broke up and Guilmon uploaded the data. Takato was speechless. He won but if he wasn’t living. What was the point?
“Takato!” a girl’s voice said.
Takato looked.
“Rika.” Takato said.
“What about us?” a Digimon said.
“Terriermon, Renamon, Henry. You’re here too.” Takato said.
“Now we can leave.” Henry said.
“But we’re dead,” Takato said. “How can we?”
A green portal opened in the darkness.
“That’s how.” Renamon said.
“What is it?” Guilmon asked.
“I don’t know,” Rika said. “But it’s better than being in this darkness.”
She charged through the portal without any fear. Renamon took off after her. The guys rushed into the portal.
