I am a fan of the show Digimon.  I do not own any of the characters or concept ideas.  This begins in Season 2: Episode 40: A Million Points of Light.  But the main part of the chapter is in Season 2: Episode 26: United We Stand.  I put action, adventure, and comedy into my stories.  It’s kind of based on the shows.

Chapter 1: The Sovereigns Must Be Crazy

Three years after the defeat of the evil Digimon MaloMyotismon the worlds were at peace.  Now every child has a Digimon partner.  It was good because the original 12 Digidestined were relaxing and looking forward into the bright and sunny future.

Tai, Matt, Gabumon and Agumon were in school learning about the different kinds of Digimon and their attacks.  They were learning a lot and sometimes help teach too.  Sora and Biyomon were visiting Mimi and Palmon in America.  She wanted a change of scenery and Biyomon wanted to see the American Digimon.  Izzy was on the computer as usual with Tentomon talking to all the other Digidestined.  He loved the chats with the others.  Cody was practicing his kendo for the 13 and Under Kendo Tournament.  As he practiced he nearly missed Armadillomon several times.  That was scaring him a lot.  Yolei and Joe were on a date in a café.  As they shared a hero sandwich, in the bushes hid Hawkmon and Gomamon.  They were spying on their partners.  Davis, Veemon, Kari, Gatomon, Ken, Wormmon, T.K., and Patamon were in the park because of a day off of their school.  They were playing cards.  It was an honest game if Kari didn’t hide cards in her glove.  Everyone was happy and peaceful.  The only four Digimon didn’t like this kind of peace.  But they are not ordinary Digimon.  They are the four Digimon Sovereigns.  They were inside their massive castles as they watched the worlds float by.

“Humans and Digimon living together is a horrible.” The blue dragon Azulongmon said.

“The Digimon do all the work and get all the pain.  And the humans take all the credited.” The white tiger Baihumon said.

“Humans are a plague to all worlds.” The two headed turtle’s left head called Ebonwumon 1 said.

“And that’s putting it very lightly.” The two headed turtle’s right head called Ebonwumon 2 said.

“I’ve been saying that for years.” The crimson phoenix Zhuqiaomon said.

“We should have listened,” Azulongmon said. “But I guess it’s too late.”

“Maybe or maybe not,” Baihumon said. “We can always attack now.”

“You saw what happened to MaloMyotismon.” Ebonwumon 1 said.

“He was crashed like an ant.” Ebonwumon 2 said.

“We have to find a way to defeat the humans without forcing the Digimon to attack us as if we were the enemies.” Zhuqiaomon said.

The four were silent for a few seconds.

“I think I have an idea.” Azulongmon said.

“That’s a first.” Baihumon joked.

Azulongmon ignored that comment.

“Since we cannot attack now without being classified as the enemy,” Azulongmon said. “Then maybe we can attack in the past.”

“But we cannot change the past.” Ebonwumon 1 said.

“We cannot even travel into the past.” Ebonwumon 2 said.

“Maybe or maybe not,” Baihumon said. “This may sound stupid or something Azulongmon should say,”

Azulongmon glared at him.

“But there may be a way to travel into the past and change it.” Baihumon finished.

“Tell me how.” Zhuqiaomon demanded.

“Remember the Destiny Stones.” Baihumon said.

“The ones BlackWarGreymon tried to destroy?” Azulongmon asked.

“The very same,” Baihumon said. “They had been restored and with more power than before.”

“And?” Azulongmon asked.

“I think I know,” Zhuqiaomon said happily. “With the power of the Destiny Stones will be able to travel through time and charge whatever we want.”

“One problem,” Azulongmon said. “The darn Digidestined.  What are going to do about them?”

The four thought for a few seconds.

“Isn’t the answer obvious?” Ebonwumon 1 said. “We delete them from history.”

“That’ll teach them.” Ebonwumon 2 said.

“I think that’ll be impossible,” Baihumon said. “The Digidestined are protected by the digivices.  Even if we do change history, they’ll be protected.”

The Sovereigns all agreed.

“So what can we do?” Azulongmon asked.

“Continue with the plan.” Zhuqiaomon said.

“What?” Ebonwumon 1 said.

“Why?” Ebonwumon 2 said.

“Because we are the strongest Digimon on all the worlds,” Zhuqiaomon said proudly. “We cannot be stopped by a few weakling Digimon and their inferred human partners.  We’ll prevail and the humans will feel our wrath.”

He finished with laughing.  That started the others to laugh.

“Start the warp.” They all said.

At the seven Destiny Stone locations, the seven started to glow.  With a blast of extreme power, the seven opened a warp into time itself.  What will happen?  Nothing now.  But in the past.

Three year ago the Digidestined were racing to the Digimon Emperor’s base.  It was going to explode and seemingly destroy the Digiworld.  The Digidestined were on their partners’ back.  Most were Champion Level but two were Armor Level.

“We’re almost there.” Davis said.

“The sooner the better.” ExVeemon said.

“We better get there soon.” Nefertimon said.

As they raced through the desert, the base grew bigger and bigger.

“The base is only a few minutes away.” Stingmon said.

“I hope we have a few minutes.” Cody said.

“Don’t worry Cody,” Ankylomon said. “We always win.”

‘Why have I always done the most harm?’ Ken thought to himself. ‘Even if I’m not a part of it.  Will my suffering ever end?’

As they neared the ever-growing and exploding base, a white haired woman stood in their way.

“Where are you going?” she said.

“Get out of our way.” Yolei demanded.

The woman just laughed.

“I don’t think she’s listening.” Aquilamon said.

“She’s listening.  But she’s not moving.” T.K. said.

The woman laughed.

“You got that right, Digidestined.” The woman said.

“Who are you?” Pegasusmon said.

“Someone that wants to see the base explode,” the woman said. “And you’re not going to stop it.”

The Digidestined were surprised.

“But the base will destroy the Digital World.” Kari said.

“That’s the point,” the woman said. “Now he’s another point.  You saw that one Control Spire can be turned into a Champion Level Digimon,”

She ran her fingers through her long, white hair and plucked ten strains.

“Time to see what ten Control Spires can become.  Spirit…”

Before she had a chance to finish her command, the Digimon Emperor’s base started to explode violently.  The Digimon and humans were blinded with the sudden flashes of light.  With a finally monstrous explosion that knocked everyone to the ground and forced most of the Digimon to revert back into Rookie Level.  Nefertimon reverted to her Champion Level but without her tail ring on.  When the light faded out, the Digidestined and the woman were lightly covered with sand and were shocked at a few things.

“Whoa.  What a blast,” Davis said. “But at least the Digiworld is still around.”

“This can’t be,” the woman said. “All the Digiworld is around.  But my precious Control Spires are gone.”

“Too bad lady,” Veemon said. “Now that you can’t do anymore evil.”

“You better start running,” Armadillomon said. “Because I don’t want to hurt a lady if I can avoid it.”

The woman growled.

“You haven’t seen the last of me.” She said dashing off.

The Digidestined watched in confusion as she ran through the desert.

“What a weird chick.” Yolei said.

“You said it.” Hawkmon agreed.

Cody was his normal thinking self.

“This was too easy,” Cody said.

The others looked at him.

“The base exploding should have done something.  May be it did something we don’t know about.”

“Or may be it was a dud.” Armadillomon said happily.

The others liked Armadillomon’s answer better than Cody’s.

“This doesn’t matter,” Davis said. “We came.  We saw.  We saved the world.”

“It’s time to return home.” Veemon said.

That walked to the TV and held up their D-3s.  When they did, the TV started to glow violently as the Digiport opened.  Before the kids had a chance to pull the D-3s away or figure it out, the Digiport pulled them in.

At the other end, the Digidestined landed in a heap.  As they got up, they were complaining of their pains.

“Ow.  That was too much.” Yolei said.

“That was a first in a long time.” Cody said.

“It was like riding a washing machine.” Davis said.

“Only more painful.” T.K. said.

“My head’s still spinning.” Kari said.

“I think the Digiport needs an upgrade.” Ken said.

The Digimon agreed.  Three of them were in their In-Training form two were Rookie form and one was a Champion.

“I feel odd.” DemiVeemon said.

“I think it was something you ate,” Poromon said. “But then again, I feel weird to.”

“I think we all feel weird,” Upamon said. “I know I do.”

“I don’t.” Patamon said.

“We neither.” Wormmon said.

“I do a little,” Gatomon said. “Not to mention a little worried.”

“Why?” Kari asked.

She and the others looked around and saw what Gatomon meant.  They were in shock as they looked.  The building looked different.  The computers, the desks, the windows, and the doors looked as if not for humans.  But they weren’t in ruin either.

“Where are we?” T.K. said.

“I don’ think this is Earth.” Yolei said.

“There is only one way to find out,” Cody said.

He took out his D-3 and looked at it.

“We have to find the others.”

“I’ll go with Kari.” Davis instantly jumped to the opportunity.

“Great.” Kari said sarcastically.

“I’ll go with Kari,” T.K. said. “I think if my bother Matt is around.  Kari’s bother Tai is close by.”

“Fine,” Davis said sadly. “I’ll go with Yolei.”

“You don’t have to sound so down about it.” Yolei shouted.

“Yea.” Poromon said.

“Actually,” Cody spoke up. “I wanted to go with Yolei.”

“Huh?  Why?” Davis said.

“I need the oldest and wisest person to be with me,” Cody said. “If not, then I’ll be lost in this place.  I need someone to help me.”

“And you don’t want to be with me.” Ken mumbled.

“That’s not true.” Cody said a little upset.

Davis looked at the other Digidestined.

“Fine, fine.  I’ll go with Ken.” Davis said.

“Thank you.” Ken said silently.

They all checked their D-3s.  There were only three dots.

“We’ll check the park.” T.K. said.

“We’ll check the inner city.” Yolei said.

“We’ll check the outer city.” Davis said.

“And we’ll follow and protect.” All the In-Training Digimon said.

With that they went off.

Meanwhile at the Sovereigns’ castles.  The four were talking about their success.

“This world is perfect.” Azulongmon said.

“I know.  I made it.” Baihumon proudly said.

“Yes and the Digidestined dimwits are lost and confused.” Ebonwumon 1 said.

“Plus they have no idea where the older Digidestined dimwits are.” Ebonwumon 2 said.

“But soon they will,” Zhuqiaomon said. “They are on their way.  We must stop them.”

“I think not.” Azulongmon said.

The two glared at each other.

“You think never.” Zhuqiaomon shot back.

“Anyway,” Baihumon butted in. “They are lost in our world.  And they’ll be like that… forever.”
