Episode 2: The arrival of the new tamers part 2

The Digidestineds’ summer vacation has started. Already the kids thought that their fighting days were over and they also met Ken and Wormon. But a Digimon named Brachiomon appeared mysteriously and Glen and Seamon disappeared with out a trace. Now a big battle between Brachiomon and Rapierdramon will begin? Which one will be victorious?

“Now to destroy you and finish off your data! Brachio bubble!” Brachiomon fired a huge bubble at Rapierdramon.

“Nice try! Rapier slash!” Rapierdramon’s claws became longer and he slashed through the bubble. “What are you doing here? And why do you want to fight us for no reason?”

“What!? You don’t know? Man, you’re one dumb Digimon. I want to destroy you, and absorb all your data, so I can Digivolve to mega. And now that there’s you and those three other Digimon, I can finally reach the level. Hammer head!” Brachiomon made a side- head butt at Rapierdramon, but Rapierdramon leaped away and now his collar part was surging with electricity.      

“You just crossed the line here bub.” Rapierdramon said as then his arms started surging.

“Alright! Let him have it Rapierdramon!” Mathew cheered.

“Yeah. Do your thing!” Michael cheered.

“Grand voltage!” Rapierdramon leaped at Brachiomon with his arms coated with electricity. Rapierdramon then fired two shockwaves from his arms at Brachiomon and damaged it greatly.

“Stingmon, now’s your chance to attack!” Ken said.

“Follow their lead Angemon!” T.K said.

“You too Gatomon!” Kari said.

“Alright here it comes! Spiking strike!” The spikes on Stingmon’s shoulders extended and then the spike on his right hand became longer and glowed purple. Stingmon flew at Brachiomon in top speed.

“Hand of fate!” Angemon fired a holy beam from his right fist.

Stingmon stabbed Brachiomon’s neck and Angemon’s holy beam hit Brachiomon’s head.

“Lightning paw!” Gatomon slashed Brachiomon’s neck and Brachiomon fell on the ground, but he was still conscious.

“Tough cookie aren’t ya? Lets end this! Rapier slash!” Rapierdramon slashed Brachiomon’s head and deleted it. Rapierdramon then broke in two and Shockmon and LavaAgumon took Rapierdramon’s place.

“Why’d you kill him?” Mathew asked.

“Oops. Well, you know Shockmon has a beast‘s spirit. He always kills his foe.” LavaAgumon defended himself.

“What!? It was your idea, magma foot!” Shockmon said angrily. “Besides, we were in the same body!”

“Yeah!? Well, at least I’m smarter in battles than you!” LavaAgumon complained.

“No you’re not! Even if you are, I can Digivolve to mega, while you can’t!” Shockmon said back.

“Alright, break it up already!” Gatomon said as she came between the two.

“Yes ma’am.” LavaAgumon and Shockmon said as they ducked their heads. 

“Now we’ve got bigger things to worry about. How did Glen and Seamon disappear?” T.K wondered.

“He disappeared right here.” Mathew said as he stood on the spot where Glen and Seamon stood.

“Maybe he left a scent.” Shockmon said as he walked next to Mathew and started sniffing for Glen or Seamon’s scent, since Shockmon is a puppy Digimon.

Suddenly the same portal appeared and Mathew with Shockmon fell into it and the portal disappeared again.

“That’s it. When Glen and Seamon stood there, they both fell into that portal too.” Michael said.

“Well we have to bring them back. Come on Gatomon.” Kari said.

“Alright. But we better be careful, who knows where that thing leads.” Gatomon said.

Kari and Gatomon stepped on the spot where the four had disappeared. The portal appeared again and then Kari and Gatomon fell into it.

“What’s the point of resisting? Come on LavaAgumon, we better get them back before dinner time.” Michael said as he and LavaAgumon stepped on the spot. The portal did its tricks again.

“Well, I guess we should follow.” Ken said.  

 

Ken, Wormon, T.K and Patamon stepped on the spot of concrete and disappeared.

The kids, minus Glen and Seamon fell into a place that looks like the inside of a computer with lines and lashing lights everywhere. The kids had fallen into a pile with Mathew and Shockmon were on the bottom, giving the two a hard time to breathe.   

“Guys! Over here!” The kids saw Glen hiding behind a wall. The kids walked there.

“Hey Glen you…” Michael tried to ask.

“Shh! Be quiet. I don’t want that blue Dino-Digimon to find us.” Glen whispered. 

“Dino-Digimon? Where?” Ken asked quietly.

Suddenly a large, blue dinosaur creature walked past the kids’ hiding place. It was rather big, muscular and had red stripes on its legs and tail. It also had red hair and a feather ornament in it. (Since this is no longer in the Digidestineds’ world there’s no Digimon analyzer.)

“What is that?” T.K wondered.

“No idea. All I know that it’s a Digimon. But this place is sorta strange.” Michael whispered. 

“It reminds me of the Digi-world. Only I don’t remember it having computer thingies in it.” Mathew whispered.

Then from behind the kids was a black T-rex Digimon.

“Uh oh. We got more company! A DarkTyrannomon!” Kari said, as her voice got louder.

“Oh man! Kari, now you gave us away to the blue dino!” Glen said annoyed.

The blue dinosaur Digimon walked to the corner and put its attention on the kids, but then it switched its attention to the DarkTyrannomon.

“What are they doing?” Seamon wondered.

“No idea.” LavaAgumon said.

“I think they’re… fighting.” Wormon said.

The two dinosaurs began a big battle between each other. They first just kept punching or slashing each other. The blue dinosaur Digimon slammed DarkTyrannomon on to a wall. 

“Dino blast!” The blue dinosaur shot a blue fireball from its mouth at DarkTyrannomon and deleted it. But then the blue dinosaur Digimon absorbed its data.

“Oh my goodness! It killed the DarkTyrannomon.” Mathew said as he was frightened of  the Digimon’s behavior. 

The Digimon then turned its attention at the kids.

“My, my. This must be my lucky day. I already absorbed one champion Digimon and now I’m about to get some tender rookies. Oh and I’m Allomon.” The Digimon said.

“What! Are you some sort of barbarian who likes devouring innocents!? Guys like you make me crazy! Crazy!” Seamon yelled.

“Oh, be calm Seamon, there’s six of us and we can Digivolve.” Shockmon said.

“Alright. You guys, Digivolve, I’ll keep him busy.” Gatomon said as she leaped into battle.

“Be careful Gatomon!” Kari said.

“Ok guys. It’s time to Digivolve again.” T.K said as he and the others took out their D-3: s

But nothing happened.

“What is this? Why won’t you Digivolve?” Michael asked as the Digimon remained as rookies.

“I don’t know. It’s like a dark spire effect of something.” LavaAgumon said.

“Guys, try armor Digivolving.” Ken suggested.

“But I don’t even know how to do that.” Seamon said.

“He was talking about us.” Patamon said.

“Aw! Now I can’t battle.” Seamon said.

“Hey, I can’t either.” Wormon said.  

“Well, it’s worth a try. Ready guys?” Michael asked T.K and Mathew.

The two nodded.

“Digi-armor energize!” Mathew, Michael and T.K said out loud. 

“Patamon armor Digivolve to… Pegasusmon, the flying hope!”

“Shockmon armor Digivolve to…” Shockmon grew to the size of Pegasusmon. He had metal armor surrounding his body. He wore decorated metal bracelets on his front paws that had metal claws on them. He wore a metal wolf mask with a blade-like horn sticking out from the front. He had a metallic tail that was really thin and he had brown wings.  

“Frazemon, the lightning of rage!”

“LavaAgumon armor Digivolve to…” LavaAgumon became the size of WarGreymon. He looked like a red dinosaur wearing samurai armor and his eyes. He also wielded a sword that had a flame for a blade.

“SamuraiGreymon, the warrior of tough!”

“Lightning paw!” Gatomon slashed Allomon’s right leg.

“Ouch! You little! Dino blast!” Allomon fired a blue fireball at Gatomon, but Gatomon dodged it with ease. “Stand still why don’t ya!”

“Hey, dino breath!” Shockmon’s armor form, Frazemon said.

“Ooh. An armor leveler. You will be much better than those five rookies.” Allomon said.

“We are those three. Star shower!” Pegasusmon fired a rain of stars from his wings, making Allomon grunt.

“I’ve been dreaming to use this move again! Metal voltage!” Frazemon’s horn sparkled and shot out a blast of electricity at Allomon’s head, making the Digimon fall over.

“My turn! Bishamo strike!” SamuraiGreymon’s sword’s flames started burning hotter and SamuraiGreymoon slashed Allomon’s stomach with it. 

Tokyo (Tamers’ world) 3.15 pm.

Takato, Rika, Guilmon and Renamon were walking down a street to Henry’s place. It had been a couple of minutes after getting a run in with an ultimate level Digimon known as Brachiomon.

“I wonder why this happened.” Takato said.

“What do you mean?” Rika asked.

“Well, you know since our Digimon disappeared back into their world since that would have been the only way to defeat the D-reaper. And since our Digimon came back and now after a lot of waiting… I think that some evil Digimon is up to something.” Takato said.

“The Hypnos might be checking on it, but why’d that Brachiomon disappear when we almost had it?” Rika wondered.

“Hey, guys!” A voice familiar to Takato and Rika called out.

Henry ran to the four with Terriermon on his head.

“Henry? We were looking for you.” Takato said.

“Did you bring any bread?” Guilmon asked.

“No. But guys, you won’t believe what happened.” Henry said.

“You ran into a Digimon.” Rika said.

“Yea. A pack of Veggiemon appeared and tried to beat Terriermon, though they were no match for Gargomon.” Henry explained. 

“Yea. I did some weed-whacking.” Terriermon joked.

“We ran into a Digimon too. A Brachiomon. We almost had it, but then it just disappeared.” Takato explained. 

“Never dwell in your mistakes agent. You must learn from them and move on.” Terriermon said.

“Terriermon, no spy movies for two weeks.” Henry said to his Digimon.

“Aww, nuts!” Terriermon said.

In the weird digital maze…

“I won’t let you stay in the way of my survival! Dino blast!” Allomon fired another fireball at SamuraiGreymon. SamuraiGreymon slashed through the fireball with his sword. 

“Metal voltage!” Frazemon fired another electric blast from his horn at Allomon’s gut. The dinosaur Digimon held its stomach as he felt the pain.

“Lightning paw!” Gatomon slashed Allomon’s face.

“Star shower!” Pegasusmon fired another rain of stars and knocked Allomon down.

“Bishamo strike!” SamuraiGreymon slashed Allomon and deleted it.

 

The three, armor Digimon changed back into their rookie stages.

“Why’d you kill him, LavaAgumon?” Michael asked his Digimon.

“Oops, eh… sorry.” LavaAgumon said.

“Oops?” Shockmon asked LavaAgumon.

“We’ll discuss that later. Now we have to find a way out of here.” T.K said.

Suddenly a portal appeared under Glen (again) and he fell through it.

“Glen, he disappeared again.” Kari said.

“Eh, don’t worry. I’ll follow him.” Seamon said as he walked onto the spot where Glen stood, but nothing happened.

“This is getting weirder every second.” Ken said as he thought what is going on.

Tokyo 3.20pm.

At the Hypnos building…

“Sir, were getting a lot of signs of bio-emergings.” A woman with long hair said. She was sitting on a chair that reached high and it was in a room that was shaped round.

“How many of them?” A blond man wearing a fancy suit and sunglasses. He was playing with a lighter.

“About ten of them. But for some reason half of them has completely different data structures. They’re about to brake through.” A woman with shorter hair said.

“Keep an eye on them. These bio-emerges have gotten common again in these months.” The man said. 

At the streets…

Guilmon started growling.

“Guilmon, what is it?” Takato asked.

“I sense a Digimon. It’s near.” Guilmon said.

“Alright ugly! Show yourself and I’ll hurt you bad!” Terriermon said as he leaped off Henry’s head and stood between Henry and Takato, Guilmon, Rika and Renamon. 

Suddenly a portal appeared over Terriermon and a boy who was about thirteen in age, with dark brown hair, wearing a blue basketball shirt, black shorts, green socks and blue and white sneakers fell on Terriermon, so that only Terriermon’s arms and ears can be seen. 

“The Terriermon can’t feel his legs!” Terriermon yelled from under the boy.

“Can you breathe?” Guilmon asked.

“Barely!” Terriermon said.

Suddenly another portal appeared and a seal-like Digimon with crocodile legs, a fish’s fin on its backside, a horn on its snout and strange, brown scales on its back fell on the boy.

“The Terriermon can’t feel his arms!” Terriermon yelled again.

“Can you breathe now?” Takato asked.

“Just a bit!” Terriermon said.

Then a big group of kids and Digimon fell from the portal on the Boy and the seal Digimon. To the tamers, they looked a bit familiar.

“The Terriermon can’t feel his brain!” Terriermon yelled again.

“Terriermon, no Mucha Lucha for a month!” Henry said.

“Never mind that! Get these guys off of me! Gonna… suffocate!” Terriermon yelled. 

The kids got up themselves as they dusted their clothes and hair. The kids noticed the tamers looking at them surprised.

“It… it… I…” Rika was going to say something but then she fainted so that Renamon had to keep her from falling.   

“Uh, hi. Umm. Do you know where in Odaiba we’re in?” Michael asked Takato. 

“You’re not even near it. And are you really Michael?” Takato asked.

“Wha… hey, how’d you know my name?” Michael asked.

“Don’t be surprised, but we know all of you, including your Digimon and their attacks.” Henry said.

“How’s that possible? Who are you three? And are those Digimon?” T.K asked.

“Yes. I’m Takato, this is Guilmon, he’s Henry and Terriermon and the fainted one’s Rika and the one holding her up is Renamon.” Takato introduced.

“Well, nice to meet you all, tell that to… Rika. But how do you know us?” Mathew asked.

“Well, to put it simple. Your adventures are a TV show in our world.” Henry said.

“A TV show? Do you mean you know all we experienced?” Kari asked Henry. 

“Pretty much like it.” Henry said.

“And why hasn’t anyone apologized to me for falling on me?” Terriermon asked.

“Terriermon? You have the same Digimon that Willis has.” T.K said as he looked at Terriermon.

“Willis? Who’s that?” Glen asked T.K.

“Willis is an American Digidestined. Me, Kari, Davis, Yolei and Cody helped him deal with Chocomon.” T.K explained.

At the same time Rika gained consciousness after her little shock.

“Am I still dreaming?” Rika asked.

“No and you weren’t dreaming at all.” Terriermon said.

“I don’t believe it. Someone, pinch me.” Renamon said.

Takato pinched her.

“Ow. Not so hard, goggle head!” Rika said as she glared at Takato.

“Well, it just proves you you’re not dreaming.” Takato said.

“So, are you guys Digidestined?” Ken asked.

“No. We’re tamers.” Takato said.

“Tamers? What a boring name.” Glen said.

“Yea.” Seamon agreed.

“Well what’s so wrong with that, Glen Stanton?” Rika asked. 

“Oo. She knew my last name as well.” Glen said. 

“Duh. Your last names were given away in the first episode of Digimon America. (The name of my Digimon comic.)” Rika said.

“How is it possible that all the things we did were put into a TV show?” Kari wondered.

“We have no idea.” Renamon finally said something.

LavaAgumon hadn’t said anything since he was staring at Renamon with hearts in his eyes. Michael noticed it and tried to wake his friend out of his trance.

“But… how do we get back home? We can’t stay here, our parents are probably worried.” Mathew said.

“Yea. And we still haven’t had our duel.” Glen said.

“Who the heck would play such a lame card game? This is a real card game.” Rika said as she showed one of her Digimon cards to Glen.

“Wow, a Poseidmon card. We must really be a famous show here.” Glen said as he looked at the card.

“Actually your show is the most popular among kids our age.” Henry said.

“Hey, why don’t we take you to see Yamaki?” Takato suggested.

“Yamaki?” Kari wondered.

“He’s the headman of Hypnos. A company that made the show and these cards. And I think that you should get some cards of your own, so you can Digivolve your Digimon since a lot have been appearing lately.” Henry said.

“Who needs cards? Our D-3: s work just well. Huh?” Glen wondered as his D-3 had changed shape.

“You were saying?” Rika asked with a smirk on her face.

The Digidestined are trapped in the Tamers’ world. What has happened to the D-3: s? Find out in the next chapter.
