Author’s Note: Since the owner of the site got this fic up later than I thought, I decided to drop the deadline. You can send all the digi-destined you want anytime and I may choose to use them. I already have one digi-destined that’s a shoe for the team with his Crest of Ethereal. Now to find out about the mystery boy.

Chapter Two: United They Stand
San Francisco
“Hurry up, Trey!” A girl said, waving her hand to a boy dragging himself out of the house.
He was a blond boy, only about 12 years old. He wore a red toboggan, a black, short-sleeve shirt with blue flames on it and whites on the sleeves. His shorts were blue with black dragons on the sides. He fixed his black headband and dashed to catch up with the girl.
“Give me a break Alice” Trey complained, tilting his headband down to block the morning sun. ”why are you so enthusiastic to get to school?”
“Because my favorite author, Takeru Takaishi, is coming for career day” she replied, hugging her book.
”Why don’t you just marry the dude or something?” He asked.“You think I could?” She said, her eyes filled with hearts.
“No” he replied, causing her to start chasing Trey, whacking him with her book all the way to school.
The rest of school was pretty normal for a day in Yamato Yagami Junior High. Around 4th Period, our teacher walked up in front of the classroom.
“Today we have an important guest today” Mr. Blankenship said. “He is the author of the famous book, Digimon: Digital Monsters, Mr. Takeru Takaishi”
Everyone clapped but Trey as a Man in his late 20s walked into the room. He had blond hair and a matching goatee. He fixed his green jacket and grey shirt. He kicked some dirt off his black pants and loafers.
“Hey there kids. I’m glad to see children reading my story. I was about your age when I took my second adventure into the digital world” he said.
“You mean when you and patamon fought the digimon emperor?” Alice said.
“Exactly” TK said to her, causing her to blush.
“Hey there are some buns left in this bag from lunch. Wanna kiss them too?” Trey said, causing everyone in the class to laugh and Alice to hit him with the book.
Takeru chuckled at the two and then noticed a symbol on the back of the boy’s shirt. It looked like backwards ‘C’ with four triangles coming out of the back. On the inside of it was his crest, the crest of hope.
‘Does this mean the digital world is in trouble?’ He thought looking at the boy.
“Trey, take off those goggles” The teacher said to the youth.
‘Alright, I get it’ He replied to himself.
After school, Takeru caught up to Alice. “Excuse me, Alice was it?”
She tried to hold in her blushing. ”Yes, I-I’m Alice”
“Can I ask you a question?” he asked.
“Y-Yes?” She replied, her eyes getting larger.
“Where is that Trey guy now?”
She fell to ground and almost passed out. ’Why is it never me?” She thought as TK picked her up.
“Are you OK?” He asked.
“Yeah, I’m alright” She answered. ”Trey lives down the street, in the apartment over there”
“Thanks” he said.
“Trey’s going to get the biggest book-bashing when he gets back to school” She said, tightly gripping her book.
TK whipped out his digi-vice and a saw it glow as if it was reacting to something. He pressed a few buttons.
“Davis, this is TK. Can you hear me?” He asked, talking into the digivice.
“TK!” A voice rang out. ”you never call, you never write, you have some ‘splaining to do”
“No time for joking” he replied. ”I’ve found a kid who could be the next digi-destined”
“Digi-destined? That means the digital world’s in trouble!” Davis said, with worry in his voice. “I’ll go to the digital world, get Veemon and-“
“You can’t reach the digital world now” He said, cutting him short. ”for some reason, whatever, messing with the digital world has infected our digi-vices. Maybe if I can reach him, I can get some answers”
Meanwhile, Trey was checking his e-mail, like he did every Tuesday. His in-box said he had 5 unread e-mails, but only saw four.
“One of my hacker friends probably hid it” Trey said, pressing a few buttons. ”I just hope my brother’s hacking gear still works”
Opening a few screens found a strange symbol on his screen (it was he symbol saw on his back earlier). A whirring sound filled the room and a thumping sound was coming from the lower floor.
“Trey, are you going on those websites, your brother went to?” An older woman said hitting the ceiling with the broomstick.
“No mom” He said.
He turned back to the screen and was met with a beam of light knocking him to the other side of the room. He looked at his wrist expecting burn marks, but instead saw a watch like device. He pressed a few buttons and suddenly his entire body was glowing. TK was about to reach the door when the sky went grey. He looked up to see a pillar of light shoot into the sky, breaking the heavens and opening a doorway to a world familiar only to him.
The digital world.
“Darn it, he got away” TK said, as he slowly walked away, hoping the kid will be alright.
Shibuya, Japan
“Kid you have to listen to me! I need to tell about that watch you’re wearing!” A 20 year old man said. He had brown hair and matching eyes. He put his yellow goggles on so he didn't have to blink, chasing after this 15 year old.
“Get away from me you freak! I don’t know what you want, just back off!” The boy said speeding up. He kicked over a trash can and darted into a corner. He looked in front of himself to see it was brick wall. “Darn it! I thought this only happened in the cartoons!”
“I don’t want to hurt you” Takato (don’t be embarrassed if you didn’t figure it out) said. ”I just need to talk to you. Trust me”
“Trust You? TRUST YOU!? I! TRUST! NO ONE!” He yelled. The boy started pressing buttons on his black and red watch, not noticing the portal behind him. A beam of energy wrapped around his neck, dragging him into the doorway. “Is… this…death?”
“No my young friend. Your life has been reborn”
Feeling weightless, he was sent through the doorway. The door slammed shut afterwards and exploded with a shockwave that knocked Takato of his feet. He looked up to see a red-headed girl a bit older than him wearing sunglasses looking down on him.
“Uh, hi Rika” He said, chuckling nervously.
“You let the kid go” She said.
“It wasn’t my fault” he said, raising his hands in defense. ”there was a door and a light and-“
“I know” She said, pulling him up. ”ever since these occurrences have been taking place, the Hypnos has been on high alert”
“Sheesh, ever since the Hypnos hired you, you’ve been acting like an F.B.I. Agent.” Takato said.
“Well I wouldn’t have token the job if you hadn’t taken up the family business” Rika said, causing Takato to raise an eyebrow.
“Hey, my bread shop makes good money!” He yelled, and the two started arguing.
“Well I’m glad to see you two haven’t changed since the wedding” Another man said with blue hair said, stopping the fight.
“Heh, Hey Henry” Takato said, blushing a bit.
“Skip it Henry” Rika said. “What is with the digital world now?”
“Somehow, something’s stopping anyone from entering the digital world. Not even our technology can break through what seems to be the work of a hacker.
“That’s Impossible” Rika said. ”A hacker could never break into the digital world”
“Well if one has, it’s up to that kid to save the digital world this time.
Trey was screaming the entire time his falling. He opened his eyes and saw shooting stars falling at the same rate he was. He squinted a bit and saw they were kids just like him. One of them opened their eyes and looked at him, then looked away like he was better than him. This annoyed Andre but by the time he could try and say something, the place turned light blue and land was below him. He tried to stay awake, but ultimately, passed out.
He awoke to the smell of some strange meat. He opened his eyes and saw two beady eyes staring back at him. He screamed bloody murder as he jumped away from the creature. He looked from the back of a bush to see a little pink creature.
“What are you?” Trey asked it.
“I’m Tokomon and I am your digimon partner” it said jumping on top of his head.

Attack: Bubble Blow
“Digimon? Oh man, why didn't I read the book?” he asked himself.
“Are you ok Trey?” Tokomon said.
“I’m OK” He replied. He looked at his wrist and noticed the watch on his wrist. It was green and white with a black strap. He pressed a few buttons, toying around with it a bit. ”So Patamon, do you know the Golden Gate Bridge is? I need to get home”
“Golden Gate Bridge? Never heard of it” Tokomon said.
“Figures” he said. ”So why are you here?
“I’m here to protect my digi-destined partner” He said, smiling.
“You protect me? HAHAHAHAHA!” He said, holding his side laughing. Tokomon lowered his head in shame. “Sorry Tokomon, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Can you at least me by guide?”
“I can do that” He said, perking back up. He flew into his arms and his watch started glowing.

Attack: Boom Bubble
The pink monster was now a brown, pig-like creature with bat wings for ears.
“T-Tokomon?” Trey said, not sure if this was still his partner.
“Of course I am” he replied smiling. ”I just digivolved into Patamon”
“Patamon…kewl beans” Trey said.
“Momentai” Patamon said, smiling to his friend for life.
A few minutes later, the two were walking do a path to see where it leads.
“Hey Patamon, what does it mean?” Trey asked.
“What does what mean?” Patamon said.
“Momentai” Trey replied.
“It means whatever you want” Patamon answered. The pig digimon looked up and stopped walking.
“What is it Patamon?” Trey asked.
“Look up” he said, pointing to the tree.
He did as Patamon asked and saw another kid in the tree staring at him with his red eyes. Unexpectedly, he leaped from the tree and ran past him along with a bird-like digimon.
“Hey come back!” he yelled. “Let’s catch’em, Patamon!”
“Momentai!” The digimon said in agreement as the duo sprint after them.
The boy’s flowing grey, mangled hair whipped through the air as he and a crow digimon flew along side him. The bird digimon had leather garb on its head and a strange symbol on his head.
“They’re gaining on us” The bird said, looking back.
“I’ll handle that” The boy said, stretching out his arm with the strange watch Andre had. ”D-Watch, Activate”
The boy’s black watch opened in the middle, causing what looked like data to surround him.“D-Hack Protocol, Speed Activate!” He said, somehow speeding the two up, leaving Andre and Patamon in the dust.
“How did they get that fast?” the blond asked Patamon who was just as confused as they were.
“He said something about a D-Watch” Patamon said, getting all of the dust out of his ears. ”also something about D-Hack Proto-something”
“Maybe this thing can tell me something” Trey said, pressing more buttons. Eventually he found a button that caused an old man to come out.
“Digi-destined, you must…Save-ufidgileb-Halo-ihbvcreuy- D Hacker-ifiew” The old man said before the video cut off.
“D-hacker? Save Halo?” Trey asked himself. ”This is one strange world”
“Hey Andre, look at these” Patamon said, looking in some random shrubbery.
Wanting to catch up with the other boy, he disappointedly walked over to see what Patamon was looking at.
“These are the digi-eggs of Courage and Hope” Patamon said. ”they’re supposed to make digimon stronger.
“We better bring these along. I can’t wait to see Alice’s face when I show up with a digimon and digi-eggs in tow” the boy said, smiling at how angry she’ll be.
While this was happening, a person was watching the entire thing.“Black Agumon” He said, causing black dinosaur digimon to come forward.

“Yes my Master?” He said, kneeling behind the D-Hacker.
“Summon Tyrannomon” He said, pointing for the dinosaur digimon to leave. “More digi-destined? This has that meddlesome Genai’s name all over it.
He turned to see a red dinosaur digimon with green stripes being pulled towards him by a hundred Black Agumon.

“You shall destroy all digi-destined that defy me” He said.
“The digi-destined?” Tyrannomon said. “HA! Now your reign of terror will end”
“I doubt that he said, raising his hand and a black tower appeared behind them. ”I read up on the last digimon emperor. He used control spires to stop all digivolutions. Now you shall destroy them”
“Never!” He yelled.
“I’m glad you said that” He replied. He put his hand in front of Tyrannomon and covered his hand in darkness. The power shot out of his dark D-watch. ”Data-INFECTION!” A hand grabbed Tyrannomon’s snout and the darkness seeped into his blood, soon turning black with red stripes.

Attack: Volcanic Claw
“Now destroy those digi-destined or I will destroy you!” The D-Hacker said.
The corrupted digimon nodded and walked off to find his target.
“Man, I’m hungry” Patamon said, flopping on the ground.
“Better carry you for a while” Trey said, putting Patamon on his head. “I could get used to this”
“Volcanic Claw!”
A red-hot claw brought down a tree as a demonstration to his power, as DarkTyrannomon walked in front of them.
“Stand back Andre!” Patamon said, shooting a ball of air at the dinosaur. ”BOOM BUBBLE!”
The attack did nothing to him and he counter with his attack which sent Patamon flying into a tree.
‘Man I hope this works’ he thought taking a stance. Wind picked up around Trey and his D-Watch shining brightly. ”D-Watch, Activate!”
The Digivice’s Center opened sending out powerful light. “D-Hack Protocol! Volcanic Claw!” A burning claw flew out of the D-Watch and hit DarkTyrannomon with devastating power.
Patamon woke up and saw how Andre was doing. Memories of him laughing at him when he said he was his guardian filled his mind. ’I can’t help him. He doesn’t need me’ He thought, flying away.
“Man, this D-Watch rocks the box and kills the hamsters inside! “ The digi-destined said shooting claw after claw at his adversary. The Assault took its toll.
“Now to finish this! Volcanic Claw!”
Nothing Happened.
“What the?” He asked looking at his D-Watch. The bright light was now barely shimmering. ”This thing can run out of gas?! That isn’t fair”
DarkTyrannomon got up and figured it out. He sent out his own barrage of attacks, which sent Andre scurrying. “PATAMON!”
The pig digimon heard him but decided not to heed his call. ”I don’t wanna be in the way. He can save the world by himself.
“PATAMON!”
This time it sent a shiver down his spine. “He really is in trouble! Andre, I’m coming!”“PATAMON!” Trey yelled again as he was in the crushing grip of the dinosaur, which opened its mouth and moved the boy near it. ”PATAMON!!!!”
“BOOM BUBBLE!” a voice announced, sending out a massive blast of sonic force, easily knocking the ultimate digimon to the ground.
“Patamon! You came back!” Trey said, running to his partner.
“Of course, he replied. ”You’re stuck with me for ever”
“Neither of us could beat him alone but together, I have no doubt we can win!” Andre said.
His back pack was shining for some mysterious reason. He reached in and pulled out the two digi-eggs they found. The two eggs combined to form a new egg with the same strange symbol he saw on the screen before he went into the digital world. Patamon started floating into the air and exploded with light.
“PATAMON, I’LL NEVER GIVE UP ON YOU!” He yelled as he saw partner Digivolve. Instantly he knew the word to digivolve him. “Digi-Armor Evolution!”

The new creature was now looked human. He was coved in light blue and yellow armor His eyes were covered by a helmet. In his right hand was sword with a blade on each side and wing came out of his back. In his other hand, a shield with the face of a falcon.
“A’ight, You digivolved again!” The digi-destined said, jumping up and down like a fool.
“Your belief in helped me. You are now the Digi-destined of Confidence” Stratomon. ”I couldn’t have done it without you”
“Let’s get Stratomon!” Trey said, pointing to the dinosaur digimon.
“D-Watch ability 01: Data Scan” The D-Watch said mysteriously.
“Might as well try it” Trey said. ”D-Watch Activate! D-Hack Protocol! Data Scan!”
Two beams of light hit Stratomon and DarkTyrannomon and these numbers appeared on his D-Watch.

“My attacks gave you a fighting chance! Go!” Trey yelled.
Stratomon nodded before flying into the fray. DarkTyrannomon sent out a blast of fire at him, but he easily dodged them.
”Tempest Blade!” He yelled, causing the winged digimon to turn into a cyclone and go through his opponent. After that last attack, DarkTyrannomon turned completely black and a ring of data wrapped around him.
“D-Watch ability 02: Digi-Purify” the D-Watch said.
“Digi-Purify!” He said, causing the dark data to enter the Digivice and come out white.
Later on, Patamon digivolved and DarkTyrannomon became a little red and
Purple beast known as Elecmon, who thanked them.

“So Elecmon, have you seen any other humans?” Trey asked.
“I think I saw one the east from here. He sure was going fast though.” He replied.
“That’s the guy from earlier. Maybe we can still catch them!” Trey said to Patamon.
The two ran off, knowing this was the start of a great adventure.
